YMCA St Helens is looking for an experienced and motivated Volunteer Manager to lead the development of our volunteering programme across housing, youth, early years and community services.

You will recruit, train and support volunteers, ensuring they feel valued, confident and equipped to make a meaningful impact. Working closely with colleagues and partners, you will create diverse volunteer opportunities, strengthen community relationships and develop our corporate volunteering offer.

As Senior New Business Manager, you will lead the new business function of our high-performing and ambitious Corporate Partnerships team. You will be responsible for driving new corporate income by identifying, cultivating and securing major partnerships. You will lead all new business activity with the New Business Manager, from proactive outreach and developing compelling propositions to successfully negotiating and onboarding new partners.

Main Duties

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based within a non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. This service does have step free access however we are unable to guarantee this at some of the other locations where the role is based such as homes and community based locations.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work outside these hours as per service/participant requirements. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. 

Key Responsibilities include:

About the Role

We are looking for an inspiring Service Manager to lead our supported accommodation for young people in South Manchester. You’ll oversee a skilled team delivering safe, high‑quality support to clients—helping them stabilise, build independence and progress confidently through the Manchester pathway. Your leadership will shape a service where young people feel secure, respected and empowered.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll drive operational excellence, ensuring strong safeguarding practice, effective partnership working and consistent contract compliance. You’ll manage budgets, performance, reporting and health & safety while strengthening relationships with the commissioners, and community stakeholders. In this role, you will:

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality support across two accommodation sites.

• Work collaboratively with commissioners and specialist partners to coordinate client‑centred support.

About the Role

This is critical role within the organisation, supporting essential services for people and communities. It is a senior operational finance role with responsibility for day-to-day financial management, robust controls, accurate reporting and compliance. A new role, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the charity's day-to-day finances, contracts and risk management. As a member of the senior leadership team, they will support the CEO with strategic planning. A key part of the role will include financial planning and administrative support for the charity’s fundraising efforts as part of a £6.5m conservation and renovation programme. They will lead the preparation for, and presentations at the charity’s Board and related finance committees.

The postholder will ensure that the charity’s budget and out turn are closely monitored and that established financial controls, spanning the procurement to payments cycle, are firmly adhered to. They will lead budget setting, forecasting, and financial reporting (including management of the external audit and production of the annual report and accounts) and will support wider work programme-planning for the charity, setting the foundations for financial success and sustainability. In addition, the postholder will act as the central finance liaison with the Inns of Court of Inner and Middle Temple – TCT’s principal funders – as well as with other stakeholders, donors and cross-departmentally.

Candidates should meet the following essential criteria:

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant

Experience in a senior/ management financial position in a charity/ not for profit

Experience of managing cash and investments.

Effective communications skills both written and oral

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.

This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.
