About the role:
You will manage and develop a team of Business Development Managers, Business Development Officers and a Business Development Coordinator, creating a high-performing culture that promotes accountability, continuous improvement and learning.
You will play a critical part in driving excellence in the quality of bids, tenders and proposals. You will oversee competitive tendering activity, strengthening bid processes (involving further integration of AI tools), embedding effective quality assurance arrangements and ensuring submissions are compelling, compliant, evidence-based and clearly demonstrate the impact of Victim Support's services.

Saferworld is seeking an experienced Programme Development Manager to join our Funding & Programme Development Team. The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in co-designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes alongside Saferworld’s partners. The successful applicant will have a focus of 3-4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. About the role:
This role involves providing information, support and advice, particularly around welfare benefits, housing and learning disabilities, to Carers through one-to-one appointments, case work, and group facilitation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing advice and advocacy on welfare benefits and housing. Minimum of 3 days a week.
Providing information, support and advocacy to Carers of people with Learning Disabilities.
Facilitation of the Learning Disability Carers Peer Support Group.
Recording and maintaining accurate case records, adhering to AQS standards.
Managing your own case load.
Essential Requirements Include:
Experience of, or ability to provide one-to-one support, information, advocacy and advice, including welfare benefits.
Experience of or ability to facilitate peer support groups in person and online.
Ability to deliver training and information sessions.
Strong listening and questioning skills.
Ability and commitment to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
The ability to balance and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
Developed IT skills with experience using Microsoft packages.
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.

Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Brent. This is a floating support service which means locations may vary from outreach sites, personal homes, and our office space. Salary: £28,800
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota between 08:00- 16.:00, 09:00 - 17:00, 10:00 - 18:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and participant requirements.

In this role, you will support participants who have been or are at risk of homelessness, experienced social exclusion, mental health challenges, substance use challenges, learning disabilities and/or may have previous convictions. You will support participants on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence within a compassionate and trauma informed environment.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering high quality, person centered support through tailored support plans which provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. You will be keen to support our residents to achieve their individual goals and support them to be the best versions of themselves.
