We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the organisation and to ensure accurate, reliable and well-managed financial processes.

This is a key role working closely with the Chief Executive, with responsibility for maintaining strong financial control, producing clear financial information and supporting effective decision-making.

About the role

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for:

• Producing accurate management accounts and financial reports
• Monitoring financial performance and cashflow
• Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintaining effective financial systems, including Xero and BrightPay
• Ensuring financial processes are efficient, accurate and well controlled

You will also play an important role in supporting Board reporting and ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory and financial responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in a hands-on finance role
• Is confident producing management accounts and working with financial data
• Can interpret figures and provide clear, practical insight
• Is highly organised, accurate and able to work independently
• Has experience using accounting systems (ideally Xero) and payroll systems (ideally BrightPay)

Experience in a charity setting is welcome but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Data Management

• Own and manage HorseWorld’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and usability
• Act as system administrator and lead on any future development or upgrades
• Produce reports and insights to support fundraising performance and decision-making
• Support colleagues to use the CRM effectively through guidance and training

Data Protection & Compliance

• Work with the CEO to ensure compliance with GDPR and relevant fundraising regulations
• Act as a key point of contact for data protection queries and audits
• Maintain clear processes, documentation and staff understanding of data responsibilities

Fundraising Operations & Financial Reconciliation

• Reconcile all fundraising income through the CRM with the Accounts team on a monthly basis
• Ensure all income streams (online platforms, standing orders, events, etc.) are accurately recorded and monitored
• Support fundraising activities and events with data and financial processes

Gift Aid

• Manage and improve Gift Aid processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Submit accurate monthly claims and maintain robust records
• Ensure readiness for HMRC inspection at all times

Lottery Administration

• Record and monitor lottery income
• Complete required returns to the Gambling Commission
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements

The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant are:

St Barnabas with Christ's Chapel is a large, thriving, inclusive parish at the heart of Dulwich Village. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in a central role that is key to the continued flourishing of our busy parish. This is a reconfigured and expanded role where you would have the opportunity to make a real difference to how we work together and implement our vision and mission priorities. This role is ideal for you if you a hands-on, collaborative, relational, and mission driven Christian professional who can balance operational excellence with a heart for people and community. As Operations Manager you will oversee the parish’s resources: people, buildings, IT, and finances, developing systems and structures that are effective, flexible, and culturally responsive.

PURPOSE:

● To work collaboratively with the Vicar, Wardens, PCC (church council), staff and congregation, supporting St Barnabas with Christ’s Chapel as we live out our vision and implement our Mission Action Plan (MAP).

● To help nurture a staff and volunteer culture rooted in mutual respect, honest communication and shared responsibility, supporting healthy rhythms of work and life.

● To be responsible for the management of the parish’s resources of people, buildings, IT, and finances. Developing effective, efficient, and flexible administrative processes, and robust and appropriate structures for leadership, management, and governance (including statutory compliance).

As a leadership role within a Church of England parish, there is an occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian and enthusiastic about the vision and values of St Barnabas with Christ’s Chapel.

About the role:

At Single Homeless Project, we believe everyone deserves access to the care they need to live well - and that’s where you come in. We’re offering an exciting new opportunity to shape how health support is delivered within our innovative Camden Housing First service. As Health Lead, you won’t just be part of a team - you’ll be pioneering a vital, human-centred approach to health within homelessness services. It’s a chance to make a deep and lasting impact, not only on individual lives but on how we work with health systems across the borough. 

This is a role for someone who wants to grow a meaningful career while helping others to rebuild their lives. You'll work directly with people who are often overlooked by traditional systems, taking the time to build trust, understand their needs and walk alongside them on their journey to better health. From completing health assessments and designing personal health support plans, to leading multidisciplinary meetings and opening doors to essential services - you'll be the link between individuals and the support they deserve. Your insight will also help us map local services, influence partnerships and drive forward more inclusive healthcare approaches. 

You’ll be part of a psychologically informed environment, where trauma-informed care and understanding complex needs are part of everyday practice. About you:

• You bring knowledge (or a real willingness to learn) about common health issues and the barriers to care faced by people experiencing homelessness
• You know how to build trust and connect with clients who may feel wary of services, finding ways to engage that genuinely work for them
• You understand local health systems and services, and can navigate them confidently to open up the right support for clients
• You bring experience or awareness of working with survivors of domestic abuse, with a sensitive, informed and person-centred approach
• You’re confident working independently and as part of a team, with strong skills in support planning, safeguarding, record keeping, data and reporting, and advocating for clients facing multiple disadvantage
