About the role

As one of our Supporter Care Advisors, you will deliver an exceptional supporter experience, and work closely with fundraising teams to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Be the first point of contact and build relationships with current and existing supporters
• Engage, inspire and motivate people to support WaterAid for the long term over phone, email, post and social media
• Support a programme of outbound calling and stewardship to engage those supporting WaterAid through organised or their own fundraising events
• Ensure all requests for information or resources are accurately fulfilled and recorded
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven experience of excellent customer/supporter service skills, demonstrating empathy, understanding and enthusiasm to support a wide variety of queries
• Proven ability of writing upbeat and engaging communications
• Proven ability to build great personal conversations and truly engage with the public – over phone, email and post 
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and identify areas for improvement – proactive data issue identification and problem-solving abilities

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Previous experience in a front-line supporter/customer care role in a similar supporter/customer service environment

Based at Oasis Community Hub MediaCityUK, you will lead our youth work provision, delivering mentoring, youth clubs, holiday activities and detached youth work within local communities. You will play a key role in supporting young people aged 10 to 16 to overcome barriers, raise aspirations and access positive opportunities.

As Lead Youth Worker, you will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and supervision to a small team of youth workers and volunteers, ensuring the delivery of safe, inclusive and high-quality youth work provision. You will work closely with schools, community partners and statutory services to support young people through both targeted interventions and universal youth provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Oasis Community Hub MediaCityUK's youth work programme, including Friday Night Youth Club, holiday activities and detached youth work.
• Deliver high-quality one-to-one and small group mentoring for young people aged 10 to 16.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to youth workers and volunteers.

The Successful Post Holder Must Have

• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and effective youth work practice.
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser to join Enham Trust and help grow our corporate fundraising. You will manage and develop our existing partnerships while also building new relationships and identifying opportunities to bring new supporters on board.

What you will be doing

Location: Fully remote with flexible working arrangements but with your home base being in the East Midlands to allow easy travel to Warm Welcome Spaces in the region. As this is a regionally focused role, continued residence in the East Midlands is a requirement of the position.

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 6,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. The Opportunity

We are expanding our programmes and partnership team and so we are looking for a Warm Welcome Space Support Coordinator (based in the East Midlands).

Warm Welcome Responsibilities

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Spaces Support Manager and wider team your primary responsibility will be to provide Project Coordination related to projects that are designed to support Warm Welcome Spaces, taking ownership of specific projects and tasks as required, including;

Project Coordination:

• Owns and manages parts of a project and ensures successful delivery - for example within the Warm Welcome Champions Programme or Partnership volunteering opportunities to benefit Spaces. This will include organising specific events as part of wider projects

As one of our High Support Needs IDVAs, you will be part of our experienced and dedicated adult team reporting to the HSN IDVA Manager covering the Canterbury District area, and your role will include a mixture of working from Catching Lives homeless centre, community and office working.

You’ll be providing a high-quality, frontline service to survivors of domestic abuse and play a crucial role in advocacy, risk assessment, safety planning and empowerment for our clients with more complex needs. You will assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse which are impacting their situation and help them to regain control of their lives. You will support them to make informed and safe choices and to move forward. You will provide a weekly drop-in at Catching Lives and will co-work with clients as appropriate.

Alongside working with survivors, you will develop and maintain productive relationships with partner organisations to strengthen multi-agency working and improve service outcomes for survivors. As the HSN IDVA, you will provide enhanced casework support to individuals within the EHCF client group, delivering support in community settings, in partnership with agencies such as Porchlight and the RSI team, and remotely via telephone where appropriate.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting people who is confident, resilient and can build strong relationships.

You will have experience of delivering domestic abuse interventions with survivors, including some whose individual circumstances are more complex. This might include clients with issues such as homelessness, poor mental health or drugs and alcohol use.

The nature of this work and being exposed to survivors’ trauma and challenges can have a negative impact on our own wellbeing as support workers, and therefore good self-awareness and the ability to recognise our own needs and put in place appropriate boundaries is essential.
