We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work.

About the role

In the role of Young Women and Girls Counsellor, you will provide one to one counselling and group therapy to young women and girl survivors of sexual violence aged 11-17 years old. You will specifically be championing the development of the counselling offer for young women and girls. You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls.

We’re looking for a highly organised and self-motivated woman who is passionate about ending violence against women, girls and children. You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s feminist approach to supporting women and girls. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and minoritised women, young women with lived experience and those who have experience of accessing services as a young woman/girl.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, a Regional Lead Clinical Psychologist and nine Practitioner Psychologists as well as Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, academia, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. You will join an extraordinary team of frontline lead workers with a focus on people facing homelessness who have survived a range of difficult and traumatic experiences.

This role brings a real opportunity to be creative and flexible in our approach to working psychologically with people who face multiple disadvantages, and to support the staff teams via training and reflective practice.

Our Youth and Play Practitioners will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a wide-ranging, community-based service that supports local residents to develop skills, confidence and pathways into employment. Bringing together our Community Education & Training provision and Employment & Careers services, the role is responsible for ensuring a cohesive offer that supports hundreds of individuals each year from community learning through to work.

A core element of our provision is the delivery of high-quality adult learning, including functional skills (English, maths and ICT), ESOL, community wellbeing, family learning, pathways to employment and selected vocational courses. Our services are shaped by both community need and funding priorities and continue to evolve in response to local demand and emerging opportunities.

Employment support also forms an integral part of our wider offer, both through embedded progression support within Adult Education provision and through separately funded programmes for priority groups, including younger jobseekers (18–24) and older residents (50+). This requires a flexible and responsive approach to programme development, partnership working and service delivery.

Our current provision is primarily funded through Lambeth Adult Learning and the Greater London Authority, with a combined annual budget of approximately £750,000 per year. A significant focus of the role will be overseeing the successful delivery of these contracts and services, ensuring high-quality provision, strong performance and meaningful progression outcomes for residents.

We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with a commitment to social impact. This role blends operational IT leadership with vocational training support.

You will take ownership of technical quality across our charitable refurbishment programme while working alongside teaching staff to support vulnerable adults in developing practical industry standard IT skills. Your contribution will directly support our mission to reduce the digital divide and create pathways into employment through technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refurbishment, Training & Technical Quality

• Act as the technical lead for all refurbished devices, ensuring consistently high standards for resale or donation
• Support teachers in delivering hands-on training, guiding learners through disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and software installation
• Carry out final quality control checks before devices enter the sales or donation pipeline
• Identify faults early and ensure devices are fully functional to minimise post-sale issues
• Evaluate incoming donations from corporate partners to determine refurbishment viability and processing requirements.
• Manage software installation and licensing (Windows/Office) across refurbished and internal machines

2. eCommerce & Sales Support

· Work closely with the Multi-Channel Sales Executive to support online sales activity

• Provide accurate technical specifications and condition assessments for listings
• Advise on pricing based on performance, battery health, and hardware configuration
• Help identify which devices are suitable for eBay versus community distribution
• Liaise with donor should there be any technical issues with devices
• Develop and implement ‘after-sales’ support for sold and donated devices.

3. Systems, Data & Infrastructure

• Oversee secure data wiping processes, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data protection standards
• Manage the flow of devices through our CRM and inventory systems from donation to final use
• Maintain internal IT infrastructure, including network (Unifi Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN), patch panels, and server environment (IIS)
• Support hardware and systems including AWS environment, desktops, CCTV and display equipment
• Manage user accounts, backups, and disaster recovery processes to ensure continuity
• Provide general internal IT support across our systems

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Hardware to include laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphone hardware repair, diagnostics, and refurbishment
• Experience managing small networks (Unifi, LAN/WAN, patch panels)
• Familiarity with server environments and server management (IIS, SQL), CRM systems, and business tools such as Xero
• Solid understanding of data security, GDPR, and secure data sanitisation
• Comfortable managing both infrastructure and day-to-day IT support

The Role

As Team Leader of the Affected Others Programme, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of GamCare’s online support services for people affected by someone else’s gambling. Working closely with the Affected Others Programme Manager, you will make sure the service is safe, responsive and well run, supporting the team to identify need, manage risk, respond to safeguarding concerns and deliver high-quality interventions for people who may otherwise struggle to access the right support.

You will also help shape how the service develops. This includes line managing and supporting Services Officers, embedding lived experience into service design, monitoring quality and impact, and using feedback and data to improve what is offered. You will combine compassionate operational leadership with service development, helping build accessible, inclusive support for affected others across the UK.

About You

You will be an experienced support services, peer support or health and wellbeing professional, with a background in mental health, addictions, public health, social care, counselling, nursing, social work or community-based support, who wants to combine compassionate leadership with hands-on service delivery.

You will be motivated by the chance to create safe, inclusive and accessible support for people who may face additional barriers to seeking help, including young adults, neurodiverse people, LGBTQIA+ communities, men and people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

You will need a relevant professional qualification or accredited training in an area such as mental health, addictions, public health, health and social care, psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or peer support leadership. You will bring experience of managing and developing high-performing teams, overseeing peer support or support interventions, and applying safeguarding, risk management and co-production principles in practice.

Strong organisational, communication and service development skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, create a reflective and supportive team culture, interpret feedback and use learning to improve services.
