Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure-based data pipelines to support the ingestion, transformation and curation of TED datasets.

• Develop and maintain Azure SQL databases and research-facing schemas across raw, transformed and curated data layers.

• Write efficient, secure and well-structured T-SQL to support ingestion, validation, transformation and optimisation.

• Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of a Common Data Model across multiple education data providers.

• Integrate and harmonise data from school MIS and EdTech platforms, including Bromcom, Arbor and Wonde.

• Build and maintain robust validation, logging, auditing and reconciliation processes to improve data quality and trust.

• Support secure data handling, including pseudonymisation, access control and compliance with data-sharing agreements and security requirements.

• Work closely with analysts, researchers, architects and partners to deliver scalable, analytics-ready data solutions.

• Contribute to agile planning, technical design, documentation and operational handover.

Essential criteria

• Proven experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Server.

• Strong T-SQL skills, including schema design, stored procedures and query optimisation.

• Experience implementing validation, monitoring, logging and reconciliation controls within data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of secure data architecture and the handling of sensitive personal data.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, version control and CI/CD practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work successfully in a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable criteria

• Experience with education datasets, school MIS systems or EdTech platforms.

• Experience with common data models, longitudinal datasets or research-oriented data infrastructure.

• Experience with Power BI, Fabric or related analytics technologies.

• Experience in a public sector, education or high-governance data environment.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

Living Well Health and Wellbeing Coordinator Role:

Referrals and assessment

• Triage and co-ordinate client referrals from a range of sources, primarily health and care, in conjunction with the Living Well Manager.  These can be for the Living Well service alone, or for “Living Well Plus” where additional support is given to those clients who may require hoarding or de-cluttering support
• Communicate with referral partners to understand the trigger for referral and liaise with clients to build trust and encourage initial assessment
• Work closely with Adult Social Care, regularly hot desking at Merton Civic centre and joining GP surgery Multi-disciplinary meetings to accumulate more referrals and build professional relationships
• Actively engage in taking part in community events and meetings to promote the Living Well service and increase referrals/referral pathways
• Hold ‘guided conversations’ to assess clients’ needs and home risk, these will be conducted on telephone and through home visits

Action planning and support provision

• Create person-centred action plans to enable clients to set realistic goals to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
• Connect individuals to support services catered to their needs at both Age UK Merton and external partners
• Provide ongoing support and co-ordination for clients to ensure that action plans are progressing, including regular liaison with partners across health, care and voluntary sector to achieve successful client outcomes
• Work with partners across health, care and voluntary sectors to build strong understanding of the service offer for older adults in the London Borough of Merton.

Skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced and proactive communications officer to cover maternity leave for a minimum of six months.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will create clear, engaging content, monitor media coverage, and help ensure IPSO’s communications are accurate, accessible and aligned with its role as regulator of UK digital news, newspapers and magazines.

What does the role involve?

• Coordinate across the Foundation and help prepare the annual statutory accounts and all schedules for audit and be the lead liaison with the auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets for review by senior management, providing analysis and other measures of performance.
• Lead on improving processes and systems across all aspects of finance and liaising with the wider organisation to drive these forward.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Up to date knowledge of charity financial legislation and best practice
• Innovative in the development of processes, procedures and information systems to support the work of the team and organisation
• Demonstrable successful accounting experience in a similar role, ideally within the charity sector

You will be responsible for managing the collection of debts across multiple communities, ensuring all outstanding amounts are recovered efficiently and in line with organisational policies.

This role requires strong credit control and bookkeeping expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex accounts.

Key essential criteria:

• Experience working within Credit Control in the Charity or Private sector.
• Relevant qualifications – Part qualified, CIMA, ACCA, AAT or qualified by experience.
