Dig Deep is an award-winning international development charity working to secure clean water, safe sanitation and good hygiene for the one million people of Bomet County, Kenya - half of whom are children.
This is a new position, created at a pivotal moment for the charity. Over the last year, the combined turnover of Dig Deep and our trading subsidiary (Dig Deep Challenges) has grown by over 50%. The Finance & Governance Manager will play a central role in making this work possible. By ensuring strong financial management, robust governance and clear reporting, you will help ensure every pound & Kenyan shilling is used well and every decision is well-informed.
This role is home-based and open to candidates living in the UK. You will work closely with colleagues across the UK and Kenya, with monthly travel for team meetings in the UK and occasional travel to our Kenyan office.

Key responsibilities:
- International Finance: Day-to-day international financial management of the charity and trading arm, incl. procurement, timely payment of invoices and production of management accounts
- International Governance: ensuring all statutory returns and other critical governance deadlines are met and internal governance procedures are adhered to
- Business Intelligence: developing and producing financial reports for staff leadership team and trustees

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- At least 3 years of experience in finance, governance, or a closely related role

The Fundraiser - Corporate & Events will play a pivotal role in enabing Deafblind UK to achieve its goals - helping us to reach more supporters, inspire long-term giving, and raise vital funds through corporate partnerships and charity-led fundraising events. You’ll be at the heart of building relationships, creating impact, and driving income that directly transforms the support available for people with dual sensory loss.
Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Fundraiser - Corporate and Events will be responsible for growing our existing supporter base and driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate fundraising activities and charity-led fundraising events. You will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and developing strong connections with businesses in order to generate income and meet targets.
The role includes helping to market and promote Deafblind UK events, with a focus on writing compelling copy for online and offline promotion. The postholder will have a flair for creativity and innovation, with outstanding supporter relationship management skills; to help enhance income generation through mass participation events. Our aim is to ensure all fundraising activities are delivered to the highest standards and are well-planned, exciting, safe, creative and challenging.
This is a highly rewarding position for a creative and dynamic individual to make a genuine difference to the support available for the 450,000 people across the UK who are deafblind.
This position is based remotely with frequent travel as and when required to carry out the duties of the role.
The role will also include:
- Building and managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering engaging activities such as networking events, golf days, and workplace fundraising.
- Leading on the planning and delivery of charity-led fundraising events, ensuring they are successful, safe, accessible, and memorable.
- Developing and stewarding lasting relationships with businesses, supporters, and volunteers, ensuring excellent supporter experiences.

Role Purpose:
Responsible Finance is the membership association for the UK’s Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). CDFIs are community lenders, committed to delivering positive social impact, and offer fair and affordable finance to businesses, social enterprises and to people unable to access it elsewhere.
This is a pivotal moment to be joining the CDFI sector. Responsible Finance and CDFIs are poised for exciting growth following two record-breaking funding announcements in late 2024 which has seen the sector backed by Government and leading financial institutions including the British Business Bank and JPMorgan Chase. This follows Lloyds Banking Group becoming the first mainstream lender to invest in the CDFI sector earlier in the year.
The Government has also announced it is backing Responsible Finance to develop a roadmap for growth, and a new APPG for CDFIs has been set up with the official launch set for May 2026.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to ensure that CDFIs from all sectors receive the policy and regulatory support they need to thrive.
You will manage key aspects of Responsible Finance’s policy work including consultation responses, briefings, MP outreach and building a supportive network of MPs, and writing articles to highlight key issues with the Government and our stakeholders. You will also lead on the production of RF’s annual impact report.
No prior knowledge about CDFIs is required so long as you have a keen interest to learn about the sector and are passionate about increasing access to fair finance for businesses, underserved communities and people. About Chapter One
Chapter One is a small but growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
We have set ourselves ambitious targets and want to support 3,900 children by 2026/27, so this role, with responsibility for building new corporate partnerships, will be crucial to ensuring that we have sufficient volunteers to achieve this target. 2026 has been designated by the Government as the National Year of Reading, so we have a great opportunity to capitalise on this and secure business commitment for our work!

About the role

About the opportunity
As Treasury Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own our Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions, playing a vital role in our financial sustainability. The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Northern Ireland.
You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting
· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.
· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.
· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.

· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.
· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.

· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.
Monitoring and Reporting

Overview
High energy costs are a nightmare for millions of UK households, while huge profits are made at our expense. Poor housing and heating systems are a key part of the problem, along with dependence on polluting, climate-changing fossil fuels. FPA is a campaigning organisation that sets out to attack the root causes of fuel poverty along with the specific injustices facing people and communities. We want to see the UK’s energy system decarbonised as rapidly as possible, with a just transition for communities and workers that includes affordability.
Working closely with pensioners groups, trades unions, disabled campaigners, tenants’ organisations and others on the frontline of fuel poverty, we’re using protest and direct action to fight for real, sustainable solutions to the cold homes crisis. We are looking for a committed operations person and fundraiser who shares our passion and values, to oversee systems and processes which support our strategy and core team to do their best work.
About the role
Fuel Poverty Action (FPA) was started in 2011 by climate activists who wanted to ensure that the green energy transition doesn’t happen at the expense of those with less social and economic power. Rather, they saw the break with fossil fuels as an opportunity to end the scourge of fuel poverty in the UK - a chance to rethink priorities and design inequality out of the energy system.
We are seeking a new, well-organised Operations Lead to slot into this structure, to take care of administrative and operational functions and support the Directors with fundraising: bids, budgets and reports, managing relationships with funders and cultivating a donor pipeline.
This role would suit someone familiar with the operational and HR elements of running a company or organisation, somebody with management experience who is caring and collaborative and comfortable juggling a varied workload.
Critically, we are seeking someone who shares our political vision, as reflected in the Energy For All manifesto (link in attachment).
Key responsibilities
- Administration: Managing the email inbox; maintaining up to date contacts and mailing lists; developing and refining systems, processes and platforms to support internal and campaign activities.
- Information management: Ensuring high standards of record keeping, data protection and secure information storage across the organisation, enabling staff and members to share and access resources and know-how.
- Fundraising: Creating and implementing a three-year fundraising plan; managing existing donor relationships and completing reports; working with directors/fundraising volunteers on grant bids and budgets.

Job Summary
The Senior Partnership Officer will play a pivotal role in building, strengthening and diversifying Bipolar UK’s high‑value relationships, with a particular emphasis on corporate fundraising and identifying strategic, mutually beneficial collaborations that support the charity’s long‑term needs.
Working closely with the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will manage and grow our portfolio of major donors, corporate supporters, and strategic partners. You will provide exceptional stewardship, ensuring partners feel valued, engaged, and inspired to deepen their relationship with us.
A key part of the role will involve proactively identifying and cultivating new corporate prospects, developing compelling propositions, crafting funding proposals, and pitching confidently to decision‑makers at all levels. You will help implement robust cultivation plans and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation across all partnership activity.
You will also work collaboratively across the wider Fundraising Team - including with the Fundraising Officer - supporting campaigns, events, and individual giving where needed.
This is a home‑based position with travel required for meetings and events across the UK. Some evening or weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growing Corporate and Strategic Partnerships
- Drive the growth of corporate fundraising through proactive identification, research and cultivation of new corporate prospects.
- Develop innovative, mutually beneficial partnership opportunities, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Charity of the Year, sponsorships, staff fundraising, corporate challenge events, payroll giving and cause‑related marketing.
- Create compelling propositions tailored to corporate audiences.
- Lead and support pitches to secure long‑term, strategic and income‑generating partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Services, Communications) to co‑design new partnership concepts, projects or services that align with charity priorities.
- Support the development of partnership agreements and ensure expectations, deliverables and benefits are clearly defined.
- Work to a mutually agreed financial target and use the CRM to track and record relevant data to grow our donor pipeline.
2. Strengthening High‑Value Donor & Partner Stewardship
- Deliver excellent relationship management to major donors, corporate partners and strategic allies.
- Provide regular updates on impact and organisational achievements to deepen engagement.
- Organise meetings, briefings, events and engagement opportunities to showcase our work.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all interactions on Salesforce.
- Create tailored materials, proposals and events to support ongoing partnership activity.
- Represent Bipolar UK through presentations at corporate and partner events.
- Track performance and impact of partnerships, supporting continuous improvement.
3. Supporting Wider Fundraising
- Work collaboratively with the Fundraising Officer, SPM and wider team to maximise fundraising opportunities across all income streams.
- Provide hands‑on support for individual giving campaigns, events and community fundraising when needed.
- Contribute to team planning, cross‑team projects, and organisational initiatives.

Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in major donor fundraising, corporate fundraising or partnership development.
- Proven track record of generating new business at 5 and 6 figure levels - from prospecting through to securing partnerships.
- Experience working to, and achieving, income targets.
- Strong understanding of the corporate sector, CSR and corporate fundraising mechanisms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering pitches and proposals.
- Excellent project and time‑management skills.
- Understanding of ethical fundraising and GDPR compliance.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and quick to adopt new technologies.
Desirable:
- Experience within a mental health or health‑related charity.
- Understanding of bipolar gained through lived experience or supporting a friend or family member.
Other Information
The main tasks may be amended from time to time to reflect evolving organisational needs. Changes will be made in consultation with the post holder.
