About the role:
For someone moving away from rough sleeping, having a safe place to stay can be the first step towards something much bigger. Gray’s Inn Road is a 16 bed short stay service in Camden, giving people the stability, support and breathing space they need to begin rebuilding their lives and move towards a home they can sustain.
As Service Manager, you’ll lead the team that makes that possible. You’ll create a service where people are treated with dignity, listened to and supported as individuals, while giving your team the leadership, challenge and encouragement they need to do their best work. From the quality of assessments and support planning to safeguarding, risk management and move on, you’ll set the standard for practice and make sure residents receive consistent, psychologically informed support that responds to what matters to them.

Working closely with housing, health, substance use, criminal justice and other partners, you’ll help remove barriers, strengthen pathways into support and create more opportunities for residents beyond the service. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of the wider performance of Gray’s Inn Road – keeping a close eye on quality, outcomes, housing management, health and safety, budgets and contractual expectations, and always looking for ways the service can become even better.
At Single Homeless Project (SHP), we want our managers to do more than keep services running; we want them to shape what great support looks like. You’ll have the space to bring ideas, develop your team and influence how Gray’s Inn Road continues to grow, while building your own leadership experience within one of London’s largest homelessness charities. With training, support and opportunities to develop across SHP, this is a role where you can grow your career while seeing the difference your leadership makes to people’s lives.

We’re recruiting a Data Compliance Officer! You’ll be joining our Data & Insights team and be our data compliance subject matter expert (SME) in support of the successful delivery of the Blue Cross Data Strategy. In this position you will help us continue cultivating a data-driven culture across our organisation, building a charity-wide community focused on data. This is a hybrid role and you must be able to work from our Burford office in Oxfordshire twice a week.
More about the role

If you want to use your regulatory knowledge in a supportive, purpose-driven environment, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.
This role focuses on delivering clear, practical compliance guidance across the charity rather than taking a theoretical or box-ticking approach. You will act as the go to contact for advice on the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) code, PECR, and HMRC Gift Aid compliance, while supporting the DPO to maintain alignment with the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Your day to day work will range from assisting with Subject Access Requests and data incident responses to reviewing targeted communications, ensuring valid permission statements are in place, and auditing third-party supplier standards.

Working alongside colleagues in Information Services, you will help develop data quality KPIs, establish standard operating procedures, and identify areas for automation and process improvement.
