Role Overview

Mothers’ Union is seeking a talented and organised Communications & Publications Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality written communications across the charity. This role will play a key part in shaping and sharing our voice through articles, press releases, media engagement, and the management of our two publications.

Working closely with the Acting Director of Communications & Marketing, the postholder will help ensure that Mothers’ Union’s mission, faith, impact, and advocacy work are clearly, professionally, and consistently communicated to members, supporters, clergy, partners, and the wider public.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career communications professional with strong writing skills and an interest in faith-based or charitable work.

Key Responsibilities

Writing & Editorial

·Researching, writing, and editing articles, features, and news stories for internal and external publications.

·Drafting press releases, media statements, briefings, and opinion pieces.

·Supporting the production and editorial coordination of Mothers’ Union newsletters, magazines, and other publications (print and digital).

·Proofreading and ensuring consistency of tone, style, and brand voice across all communications.

·Assisting with the development of case studies and impact stories.

·Maintain an up-to-date bank of FAQs, accessible to all staff members, to respond to regular queries from within and outside the membership.

·Update a PowerPoint quarterly with briefing notes for colleagues and members speaking about MU externally.

Media & Public Relations

·Supporting proactive media outreach and maintaining media contact lists.

·Responding to media enquiries in coordination with the Director of Communications & Marketing.

·Preparing briefing documents for interviews and public appearances.

·Monitoring media coverage and compiling press reports.

·Identifying opportunities for earned media coverage to raise awareness of Mothers’ Union’s work.

·Creating resources to help members connect with local media such as draft press releases and how to write engaging news stories.

Publications Management

·Coordinating content schedules and deadlines for the charity’s bi-yearly Connected Magazine and the annual Prayer Diary.

·Liaising with contributors, designers, printers, and external suppliers as required.

·Ensuring all publications meet brand and editorial standards.

·Proofreading external collateral for teams across the charity.

·Assisting with distribution planning and stakeholder communications.

Administrative & Team Support

·Managing the Communications and Marketing inboxes.

·Supporting campaign delivery through written materials and briefing documents.

·Assisting with communications for events, exhibitions, and key initiatives.

·Managing incoming communications requests and scheduling workflow.

Person Specification

Essential

·Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences including clergy.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Product Marketing Coordinator

This role is critical in ensuring Dot Dot Dot’s property offer meets market demand, business needs, and our social mission.

You will manage key parts of the property product lifecycle - from defining value propositions and preparing properties for launch, through to marketing, viewings, and quality control. Working closely with Marketing and Services teams, you’ll help ensure our properties are well‑positioned, well‑presented, and successfully filled.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining strategic thinking with operational delivery, and desk‑based work with regular visits to properties. You’ll be supported in role by our senior marketing coordinator and head of marketing and business development.

The fundamentals of the role

Marketing and sales enablement

• Develop property messaging, value propositions, and supporting materials.
• Ensure each property has strong visual assets, including photography, video, and written content.
• Create and maintain property information sheets for internal and external use.
• Coordinate property‑related communications, including Mailchimp viewing emails and location‑based social media content.
• Work with the Marketing team to deliver campaigns, promotions, and go‑to‑market activity.

Viewings organisation and coordination

• Plan, schedule, and continuously improve the property viewings process.
• Supervise and support a small team of property viewing assistants (PVAs), including training, quality oversight, and timesheet approval.
• Ensure PVAs have accurate, up‑to‑date product information, sales guidance, and customer engagement support.
• Occasionally attend viewings to assess quality and gather feedback.

Go-to-market planning and execution

• Visit properties to understand condition, local context, and customer appeal.
• Support property launch planning, including pricing, audience targeting, and marketing tactics.
• Coordinate with Marketing to implement campaigns that attract high‑quality guardians.
• Track and report on the performance of property launches and viewings.

Product vision and positioning

We are looking for a Coordinator to help our small Quaker peace organisation to continue to thrive when our current Coordinator retires at the end of 2026.

You will work with NFPB trustees and members to support Quakers in the North of Britain in their peace work, which covers a wide range of issues. As the only employee, you will need to be self-motivated, flexible and able to work with volunteers and other organisations. Joining a busy and highly effective team, this role will help deliver two major programmes of work for Lingen Davies. With a primary focus on cancer awareness raising to address health inequalities (early diagnosis, cancer screening and prevention), we use a range of activities and settings to effectively engage with the public and target communities. This work is focussed in the following areas:

• Cancer Champions Project (focus on Telford). Working in partnership colleagues, along with NHS Shropshire Telford &Wrekin, and Qube, to deliver and maintain the Telford component of the project.
• LiveLife community cancer awareness programme. Our Lingen Davies community health promotion initiative, bringing cancer awareness to communities across the region.

ABOUT BRIGHTPIP

BrightPIP (Brighton Parent/Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–2 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.

Reporting to the Schools Service Manager, the Schools Coordinator role will mainly be responsible for delivering the Schools Service and local offer to primary and secondary school settings. This includes (not an exhaustive list): 

• Being the single point of contact for primary and secondary schools within the designated local educational authority areas, including non-mainstream settings; 

• Working to set targets, KPIs and reach plans as agreed by your line manager; 

• Responsibility for booking a minimum number of schools to deliver our Speak out. Stay safe programme; 

• Overseeing the booking and delivery of NSPCC volunteer led workshops (to 6-7- and 9–11-year-olds); 

• Actively engaging with and approaching secondary schools with our new Talk Relationships service and wider offer; 

• Leading, supervising and supporting a team of high calibre schools service volunteers; 

• Carrying out quality assurance visits through direct observations of volunteer deliveries, giving constructive feedback; 

• Ensuring training and sign off plans are in place for new volunteers, which may include some co-delivery with a Schools Coordinator in schools for some areas; 

• Providing effective individual and group volunteer supervisions; 

• Planning and implementing volunteer recruitment/attraction strategies;

Event & Engagement Coordinator 

Remote based in North West England. Please note, the role requires working one day a week in Manchester. 

Fixed term contract: initially 12 months with potential to extend.

Job Purpose: 

To plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of local events across North West England, ensuring each event is well-organised, inclusive, and engaging for local communities. The Local Event Coordinator will collaborate closely with partners, local authorities, suppliers, volunteers, and members to deliver high-quality, unique and memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and manage logistics for a variety of local member events, making sure all events are accessible and attractive to both existing and potential members. 

• Liaise with relevant external and internal contacts such as venues, suppliers, CSSC’s ticketing platform, Head Office departments, and volunteers. 

• Complete all relevant compliance work such as risk assessments and public liability checks. 

• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring value for money and accurate financial tracking. 

• Promote events via social media, email campaigns, posters, and local press in collaboration with marketing teams. 

• Manage and grow the North West’s CSSC TikTok presence, including content planning, filming, editing, posting, and community engagement. 

• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of TikTok trends, algorithms, analytics, and best practices. 

• Create engaging, on-brand short-form video content tailored to target audiences. 

• Monitor performance metrics and use insights to optimise content strategy and increase reach and engagement.

About the role 

The Training & Volunteer Coordinator manages the administrative functions of volunteer recruitment, retention, and training, ensuring volunteers have a positive experience. 

Key duties involve leading recruitment (including publicity, processing applications, interviews, and IT onboarding) and maintaining accurate volunteer records for regular reporting to the Training & Development Manager and Senior Management Team. The role also assists the Training & Development Manager in monitoring the training and progression of all staffand volunteers via their learning and development plans.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Stockport.

Position: S11359 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Homebased, Stockport. However frequent travel will be required as part of this role (Will include team meetings, other work-related meetings and home visits) 

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: Circa £17,000 per annum (FTE circa £28,340.58 per annum)

The Role

We’re looking for a curious, compassionate and committed individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service in the Stockport area. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with stroke survivors and their families, supporting them in rebuilding their lives after stroke.

The service operates in fast-paced, person-centred environment, where Coordinators identify and respond to the evolving needs of stroke survivors and their carers. This includes delivering structured reviews at six months post-stroke, supporting stroke survivors in their ongoing recovery and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging peer support and communication groups
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings with the local stroke therapy team, contributing to joined-up care
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers to enhance service delivery (experience in volunteer management is an advantage)
• Support stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community, offering personalised advice and guidance
• Provide resources for stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of further strokes
• Deliver Stroke Reviews at six months post-stroke

The ITF is looking for an experienced administrative/ global operations leader to head our administration department. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of support for governance, meetings and events across our departments including land transport, civil aviation and tourism, women transport workers, young transport workers, legal, campaigns, communications, and the office of the general secretary.

About the Role

The Head of Global Administration leads the ITF’s global administration function, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative, travel, language and governance support services across the organisation. The role provides strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the systems, processes and resources are in place to support ITF programmes, campaigns and governance activities worldwide.

It leads a global administration team with six direct reports, including administration coordinators, the travel coordinator and translation coordinators.

Overseeing all administrative processes, you will maintain constructive relationships with affiliates and social partners, manage venue and service contracts, and support accurate and timely budget administration. You should have:

• Significant experience and a proven track record of event planning, coordination and delivery to an exceptionally high standard, within the non-profit sector.
