The Fundraising & Communications Cluster comprises expertise in fundraising, marketing, communication, trading (web shop), supporter engagement and retention. Working collaboratively, we serve our supporters by providing authentic and engaging communications inspiring active social witness, engagement and giving to charity.
The Fundraising & Communications Cluster strengthens Embrace’s communication, education, and fundraising efforts to drive growth, so that more people engage with our content, more donors are attracted to support, and the UK church is more deeply engaged with the cause - enabling us to fund more work in the region and generate a deeper understanding of Christian service in the Middle East.
As Individual Giving Manager, you’ll help us grow sustainable income by keeping individual supporters inspired, informed and engaged - so they give again, stay longer, and deepen their support.
You will deliver an excellent supporter journey experience, project managing engaging and compelling direct and digital individual giving activity (including – but not limited to – appeals, regular giving conversion & upgrade, lapsed reactivation) and incorporating legacies marketing, raising more than £1m voluntary income each year.

The Purpose of the Role
The Social Media Content Producer will focus on developing creative content that drives reach and engagement across social channels. Working on integrated campaigns while also driving evergreen pipelines, they will be help deliver on our UK ambitions to position IRC as the go-to humanitarian NGO protecting people forced to flee conflict and crisis.
The Social Media Content Producer will produce and disseminate compelling content (with a focus on short-form, straight-to-social videos and other multimedia formats) that will grow the IRC’s brand online, engage a loyal following, and ultimately help encourage audiences to support IRC UK’s work.
The role sits across our key social channels, including both B2C (Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook and TikTok) and B2B (LinkedIn), helping managing what we publish and when. As part of IRC’s Global Digital Engagement team, they will work with multiple collaborators, across markets, to identify, craft, package up, publish and amplify stories that can live across platforms, with real potential to engage the right people at the right time.
The ideal candidate thrives in storytelling that drives social engagement. They will bring a deep understanding of what makes content perform—while still staying true to IRC’s core mission and values—and an appetite for proactively staying across cultural moments and social innovations.
They will have experience generating social-first ideas, editing social video, graphics, and copy writing for social. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate communications within the business community, development finance sector, or a similar environment that requires delivering high-quality communications to a diverse range of global audiences.
A CIPR Specialist Diploma (Digital Communications), or equivalent, is desirable but not essential.

About the role
Reporting in to the Campaigns Advisor, the Campaigns Officer will lead on the delivery of Christian Aid campaigns aimed at both movement building (through the development of supporters’ agency and ability to lead campaigns), and mobilisation (encouraging key audiences in the church and the wider to public to achieve strategic policy, legislative and culture change).
The post-holder will be develop and deliver high impact plans, tactics and activities that align with the strategies developed for campaigns, in relation to supporting churches and community groups (with a focus on Black Christians, Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches, and young adult Christians) and mobilising supporters to engage advocacy targets in political, private sector or in church environments.
