This is an exciting opportunity for a community focused individual to join our Communities Team at Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as a Community Investment and Partnership Lead on a permanent basis.

Ideally, you'll be based from our Wembley office, combining both home and office working to ensure a positive work/life balance. Some travel will be required between other SNG offices across our geography and sites across Central London and boroughs.

The Role

The role will be at the heart of our London and Hertford delivering Community Investment and partnership actively through commissioning and supporting activity that creates social impact. You will lead in the delivery and ongoing development of a Locality based Community Investment strategy, embedding our Thriving Communities, Customer Impact and Corporate Plan priorities across two localities.

Reporting to the Community Investment and Partnership Manager this post will be embedded with our other customer facing teams and require excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development and commitment to customer service with the confidence to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

• Creating, implementing and overseeing the delivery of a wide-ranging programme of interventions in localities
• Ensuring that contracts and projects are managed effectively, including performance management that demonstrates our social impact
• Ensuring the smooth and effective financial management of projects via contracts and grants, including adhering to procurement and financial regulations
• Supporting the Partnerships and Funding team by writing bids that bring in external funding to deliver social impact in our communities
• Working collaboratively with Community Investment colleagues to ensure the Thriving Communities vision is delivered in localities
• Working effectively with our Grants Officer to support the grant programmes and work with awardees as required
• Embedding a framework for social impact and outcomes recording

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have significant experience and expertise in the Community Investment sector gained from working in a similar role.

You'll need excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development and commitment to customer service with the confidence to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

You'll also have:

• A proven track record of positive stakeholder engagement and relationship management, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written, tailored to a range of audiences
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Experience of quality assurance of projects, including monitoring and evaluation systems

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all
channels and marketing materials and encourage the wider team to do the same.
● Collaborate closely with the Data Coordinator and Head of Operations to ensure our
supporters database meets GDPR and Fundraising Regulation requirements.

Income Generation and Networking
● Participate in the Fundraising Working Group, working with the Income Generation
Strategy to enhance our income.
● Attend Matrix fundraising events, taking photographs and supporting with appropriate
creative tasks.

Support to Executive Team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media and Communications Officer to join our team at Endometriosis UK and help us make a real difference for the 1.5 million in the UK with the disease. This is a crucial, busy and varied role working closely with the Head of Communications and Campaigns to raise awareness and increase the visibility of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK. You will be working as part of a small but ambitious communications and campaigns team with a strong commitment to raising awareness and achieving real change to help those living with endometriosis and menstrual health conditions.

The role will be ideal for a proactive, forward-thinking, and highly organised communications professional who is comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The postholders priorities will range from being the first point of contact for media enquiries to drafting media statements to respond to Government announcements that could impact the lives of those affected by endometriosis. You’ll be able to identify news stories, opportunities, and effectively pitch ideas to high profile media outlets, and have experience in working with case studies and celebrities to share their stories with the media.

Purpose 

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Communications Officer. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-profile communications environment.

The role will support the objectives of the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK by communicating our work to a wide range of audiences, including senior business leaders and politicians, through a mix of communications methods: social media, newsletters, media outlets, website and internal communications channels. The role will be predominantly focused on work and wages activity through the Living Wage Foundation, but there will be opportunities to support cross-Citizens UK communications activity including for example: campaigns on housing, refugees and more. 

This post will be joining a Communications team that spans media, digital communications, research and events, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings. 

The post holder will support the delivery of our media and press office activity, including monitoring media coverage, supporting with journalist enquiries, and helping to develop proactive press campaigns to build awareness of the Living Wage Foundation’s work. They will also support the creation of written and visual content across our channels and help monitor and manage our social media presence on a day-to-day basis. The role will work closely to support the Communications team’s work and help communicate the work of the wider-team and our employer network. 

The role is also responsible for key communications with our network of over 16,000 accredited Living Wage Employers, including our monthly newsletters, blogs, videos and case studies to celebrate our network of accredited employers   

The position would suit an applicant with strong written and communication skills, with some experience of working within a communications team and a passion for press work, social media and content creation.

Main Responsibilities 

Working as a Communications Officer for the Living Wage Foundation, reporting to the Media Manager, your main responsibilities will include: 

Media 

• Contribute to media strategies and plans that help to win public, business and political support for the Living Wage Foundation and its work 

• Write compelling press releases, blogs and opinion editorials to promote the Living Wage Foundation’s work

About the role
As part of our Public Affairs team, you’ll lead on supporter content and digital communications, tailoring messages for different audiences to maximise reach and engagement. You’ll support research and report writing, monitor UK and EU policy developments, and track campaign performance to help shape future work. This is a part-time role, working remotely for three days a week between 09:00 to 16:00. There is flexibility to discuss which days would suit you best, except for Wednesdays, which are required. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

You’re a clear, confident communicator with experience writing for digital channels, using campaign technology and working collaboratively across teams. About Sophie Hayes Foundation

Sophie Hayes Foundation is a small but mighty charity supporting women survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking as they rebuild their independent lives, free from re exploitation for the long-term.

We provide an employability programme which enables survivors to rediscover their skills, build their confidence and sense of purpose, develop workplace skills, and open up opportunities for work placements or volunteering. We also offer a conversational English course, a digital skills programme, and run a survivor network CREW (Creative Resilient Empowered Women).

FUNDRAISING

• Leadership of successful portfolio of grant funding, including stewardship of existing funders, and growth to new ones through high quality applications and proactive identification of opportunities.

This role will involve building relationships with an extremely broad range of people, with a very strong focus on the people who participate in our services. An ethical storytelling approach is at the heart of QSA’s communications. The communications officer role also involves many of the ‘bread and butter’ tasks of an effective communications function: content production, analytics, social media management and so on. We are currently in the midst of a full-scale overhaul of the QSA website.

Purpose of role

To develop the communications output of QSA across all platforms, supporting delivery of the aims of QSA’s organisational and fundraising & communications strategies. To centre QSA’s communications work in an ethical storytelling approach.

REMAP is a unique national charity. It brings together two groups of people: volunteers skilled at making things and disabled people who need specialist equipment. Each year, around 3,000 pieces of custom-made equipment help transform the lives of disabled people.

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer will lead structured volunteer growth and engagement across REMAP’s national branch network. Working proactively with Branch Chairs and the operations team, the postholder will focus on targeted recruitment, improved conversion of volunteer applications, and more consistent onboarding practices across the network. The Administrator / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth running of One Newham.
