If so, St Giles is looking for a Voluntary Pantry Delivery Driver to be responsible for the food delivery to our Camberwell Pantry. The Pantry is a Social Supermarket which will support clients to access affordable and healthy food each week (for a maximum of six months) and offers both a responsive solution and a sustainable route out of poverty, ensuring people can access healthy food whilst getting the support they need.

About this important role

Our Voluntary Pantry Delivery Driver will safely drive between food collection points and St Giles Pantry sites across London, loading the vehicle with food in line with food safety and manual handling regulations.  You will ensure your vehicle is checked for safety and cleanliness before each shift, report any incidents with management and calmly react to changing scenarios, such as traffic, while always being polite and courteous to other volunteers who may be accompanying deliveries.

On the road, and at the Pantries, you will be representing St Giles and so you will drive safely, responsibly and within the law and be courteous to all road users, staff, volunteers and members.  At all times you will ensure that you are following St Giles’ health and safety policy and food safety standards protocols to consistently ensure safe collection and delivery of food is maintained.

What we are looking for

• A full and valid driving licence (due to insurance requirements, this role is only open to applicants of 25 years of age or older)
•  You must be physically fit to be able to manually load heavy items into a van
• Experience of working in a similar van delivery role, preferably in food distribution and use of chilled vehicles
• Food safety and hygiene qualification or willingness to work towards one

Ace of Clubs (AoC) is an independent charity based in Clapham that supports individuals experiencing homelessness.  Each day we serve a hot meal to around 200 adults who are experiencing homelessness, adversity and hunger.  Alongside this we offer a range of other direct services including showers, clothing, laundry, health support and advice. 

This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the community while gaining valuable insight to the health/social care sector at a longstanding direct-service charity. As a Volunteer, you will mainly support our delivery of a high quality lunch service.

About the opportunity

Can you spare 2 hours a week on a Thursday evening to work with some of the most friendly, welcoming people you’ll ever meet? If so, then please come and help our volunteers to organise fun activities at our ever-growing club for people with learning disabilities. No previous experience is needed, you just need a caring attitude and sense of fun.

Our club is split into two age groups 14-25 yrs (Juniors Club) and 25 yrs+ (Vets Club). You have a chance to make a real difference to either group by creating new experiences, helping our members to grow in confidence, build friendships and learn new skills. Our specialist club leaders will support and train you and you’ll benefit from working in a very rewarding environment!

What are we looking for?

• You do not need previous experience, just an open mind and a positive attitude towards disability.
• You need to be willing to have fun and commit to The Vets Club or Juniors Club, on at least a fortnightly basis.
• You will need enthusiasm and good communication
• Available regularly (but not necessarily every week) on Thursdays between 7pm and 9pm.

Meetings

The Board aims to hold around four Board Meetings per year (generally 1.5 hours per meeting, although subject to change, as necessary). Meetings are usually held virtually, although we now aim to hold one in-person meeting per year, and it is expected that Board Members read the necessary board materials prior to each meeting.

Board positions carry no remuneration but travel and other out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The Role of the Board

In line with ProVeg International's Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles, the ProVeg C.I.C. Help women with PCOS manage their condition through our health program

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women globally, yet it remains one of the most under-diagnosed and misunderstood hormonal disorders. Our startup addresses the social and healthcare inequality faced by individuals with PCOS, who often experience delayed diagnosis, misinformation, and a lack of holistic support. Many face chronic physical and emotional challenges—ranging from irregular periods and infertility to anxiety, depression, and body image issues.

Socially, PCOS is stigmatised and frequently dismissed, especially in low-resource settings, where access to specialised care is limited and digital health education is minimal. Environmental challenges also arise from a lack of culturally sensitive, inclusive, and personalised resources for managing lifestyle and medical interventions.

We aim to close these gaps by providing accessible, evidence-based tools and community support to help individuals manage PCOS proactively—supporting not just physical health, but also mental well-being, self-advocacy, and long-term empowerment.

Our startup empowers individuals with PCOS to take control of their health through a personalised, holistic digital platform. We combine science-backed tools, expert guidance, and community support to address the unique and complex challenges of managing PCOS.

We focus on three core pillars:

Education & Awareness – We provide clear, accessible content to help users understand PCOS, its symptoms, and treatment options. By demystifying the condition, we help users become confident advocates for their own care.

Personalised Health Management – Our platform offers customised lifestyle plans (nutrition, yoga, mental health support and supplementation guidance) tailored to the individual’s symptoms, goals, and health data. We also support symptom tracking and integration with healthcare providers for a more cohesive care journey.

Community & Mental Health Support – We create safe spaces for peer support and access to mental health resources, helping users feel seen, heard, and supported. This combats the isolation and anxiety that often accompanies PCOS.

By blending technology, empathy, and expert insight, we aim to close the care gap, reduce stigma, and help users lead healthier, more fulfilling lives—on their own terms.

Our digital presence is essential to reach the right audience—women searching for trustworthy, lifestyle-based PCOS solutions. We’re looking for an SEO-savvy volunteer to help drive organic traffic and grow our reach.

SEO Expert

Role Overview

As a Volunteer SEO Specialist, you'll help optimise our website and content strategy to attract Indian women struggling with PCOS. You'll perform keyword research, improve on-page SEO, collaborate with the content team, and monitor performance to drive sustainable traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Keyword Research & Strategy
  • Identify high-volume, low-competition keywords relevant to PCOS treatment in India
  • Build topic clusters and content outlines for blog, social, and app-related pages
  • Support multilingual/localized keyword strategies (e.g. Hindi, Tamil, etc.)
• On-Page SEO
  • Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, and internal links
  • Provide SEO guidance on new pages, blogs, or educational content
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure best practices are applied
• Technical SEO (Basic Level)
  • Audit site structure, page speed, mobile performance, and crawlability
  • Flag issues and recommend fixes to our development volunteers
• Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
  • Recommend backlink opportunities or partnerships (forums, blogs, health platforms)
  • Suggest strategies for growing domain authority in a nonprofit context
• Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor traffic, rankings, and click-through rates using Google Search Console and Analytics

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, SEMrush)
• You'll have access to RankMath premium for optimisation
• Understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO best practices
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Strong analytical and communication skills

* Bonus: Experience targeting Indian digital audiences or working with wellness/healthcare content

Join Manor Gardens Welfare Trust (MGWT) as a Trustee and play a pivotal role in empowering communities to thrive. Help us deliver innovative, culturally competent services tackling inequalities and improving lives across Islington and beyond.

MGWT has been at the heart of community support since 1913, continuously evolving to meet contemporary challenges. Our dynamic hub in Upper Holloway supports over 2,600 people annually, promoting health, wellbeing, and social inclusion among diverse, underserved communities. Our services include multilingual advocacy, mental health support and therapy services, youth service provision as well as chairing Islington's award-winning Food Partnership working for a sustainable food system in the borough. 

Although MGWT is a local charity, we have a notable track record of innovation and wider impact. We pioneered the first LGBTQ+ youth group in Europe and launched the UK's first specialist psychotherapy service for survivors of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Our groundbreaking work continues to inform practices and policies at both local and national levels.

We are particularly seeking trustees with skills in fundraising (including expertise in securing grants from trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory funding, legacies, and major gifts), Human Resources, and communications. Knowledge, experience, and a thorough understanding of the charity sector are essential, alongside a demonstrable commitment to our values. Previous board experience is desirable but not essential. We particularly welcome candidates with lived experience of the issues we are seeking to address, including socioeconomic inequality, mental health, and the asylum process. 

Trustees commit roughly 6 hours monthly, guiding strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, promoting equality and inclusion, and serving as ambassadors for MGWT’s vital work.
