Job description

We’re looking for a Training Officer to help us develop and deliver high quality learning and professional development for people working with and for young people across the North West.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating and delivering engaging training and supporting others to learn and grow.

Working with our Learning, Workforce Development & Equality Manager, you’ll help shape our learning offer and support a skilled, confident and connected youth sector workforce.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and deliver engaging training and workshops (online and in person)

  • Build relationships with learners, partners and organisations

  • Support learning events, networks and Communities of Practice

  • Use feedback and evaluation to improve what we do

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • experience of training, facilitation or learning and development

  • confidence delivering engaging sessions to different audiences

  • good communication and organisational skills

  • an understanding of youth work or the issues affecting young people

  • a commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding
