MINDSET is building a new kind of men’s mental wellbeing and personal growth movement in the UK — one that speaks the language men actually respond to: doing, belonging, challenge, and shared purpose. We create experiences that help men grow, connect, and rebuild confidence from the inside out.
And now, we’re looking for an Admin Manager/Lead to build the operational backbone that keeps this national movement running smoothly.

After going virtual with the BiFi Festival for 2020 due to Covid-19 and running a virtual Pride event in 2021, we came back in person in 2022 with a hybrid event, and have been running the event in this format ever since

The role:
The Events team at Bi Pride UK is one of the core operational teams within the charity. The team handles programming, production and execution of our events, including our annual flagship Bi Pride event, which holds the record for the largest Bi Pride event in the world. This role will sit within the Stalls sub-team, who are responsible for organising the stalls area within Bi Pride UK’s events; a space which hosts stalls from bi+ community groups, LGBTQ+ charities, small businesses and other fantastic organisations.
The Stalls Assistant Manager will support the Stalls Manager on the planning and delivery of the Stalls area at Bi Pride UK’s events. This role will work collaboratively with the other Stalls Assistant Managers, and support the “on-the-day” volunteers at our events. The holder of this role will work to maximise engagement in the stalls area and ensure that the stalls area is a valuable and enriching experience for all involved.
Key tasks of this role will include:
Working closely with the Stalls Manager, as well as volunteers across the charity, to deliver a stalls area that meets the charity’s vision;
Supporting the Stalls Manager to recruit a diverse range of stalls, contributing to assessments of each stall holder’s suitability/ reputational risk against the aims and objectives of Bi Pride UK;
Overseeing the completion of stall holder contracts, receipt of invoices and other relevant documentation, including accurate record keeping and storage of such documents;
Supporting the Stalls Manager to organise the logistics for the stalls area (including layout, arrival times and access to resources such as plug sockets, etc.);
Assisting the smooth delivery of the stalls area at the event, including guiding on-the-day event volunteers to carry out their tasks;
Maintaining positive relationships and facilitating effective communication with prospective stall holders, confirmed stall holders, volunteers, the venue, and any other relevant stakeholders;
Working with the Access & Inclusion team and the Accessibility Consultant to implement their recommendations and ensure the I Am Proud Stage meets a high standard of accessibility.
Our team volunteers remotely from anywhere in the UK, with some travel required occasionally (primarily for our flagship Pride event in London in August). All reasonable expenses incurred are reimbursed, including travel, lunch at away days and other all day events, and some childcare costs if required. The successful candidate will be invited to fortnightly Events team meetings on Wednesday evening via conference call, in addition to Stalls sub-team meetings which will be scheduled in line with the team’s best availability.
Volunteer specification:
Interest and passion for tackling discrimination against and improving the visibility of people in the UK attracted to more than one gender;
An understanding of the needs of people and communities in the UK attracted beyond gender;
Commitment to the aims and objectives of Bi Pride UK;
Experience of delivering stalls-based events (preferable but not essential);
Understanding of organising event logistics (e.g. venue layout, timings, resources) and some awareness of relevant health and safety and risk management measures;
Ability to handle documentation and accurate record keeping in a manner which adheres to confidentiality and GDPR requirements;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with volunteers at all levels within the organisation, as well as with external contributors (for example, stall holders);

The holder of this role will work to provide a programme of live entertainment that represents and celebrates bi+ people, their voices and their experiences.
Key tasks of this role will include:
Working closely with the Main Stage Manager, as well as volunteers across the charity, to deliver a Main Stage provision that meets the charity’s vision;
Booking a diverse range of performers and hosts, after contributing to assessments of each performer’s application for suitability/ reputational risk against the aims and objectives of Bi Pride UK;
Overseeing the completion of performer and host contracts, receipt of invoices and other relevant documentation, including accurate record keeping and storage of such documents;
Supporting with logistical aspects to ensure the smooth running of the Main Stage on the day of the event, including stage set up/ take down, time management/ scheduling, troubleshooting any issues arising on the Main Stage and liaising with other departments involved in the Main Stage delivery (e.g. lighting and sound technicians, streaming technicians, Artist Liaison volunteers, performers, BSL interpreters, etc.);
Liaising with the venue, the venue’s technical team and performers to arrange the logistics for the Main Stage delivery prior to the event (including agreeing upon riders, stage layout and equipment, lighting and sound requirements and arrival/ performance times, etc.);
Maintaining positive relationships and facilitating effective communication with prospective performers, confirmed performers, volunteers, the venue, and any other relevant stakeholders;
Working with the Hybrid Event Specialist to support the smooth running of the Main Stage livestream and a good viewing experience for online attendees;
Working with the Access & Inclusion team and the Accessibility Consultant to implement their recommendations and ensure the Main Stage is fully accessible.

Role Purpose
The Deputy Head of Ethics & Research Reporting is a senior volunteer leadership role designed to provide strategic and operational resilience across the department. Role Requirements (Deputy Head)
Given the seniority and responsibility of this volunteer role, the following experience is required:
A PhD is required, along with postdoctoral research experience, or significant academic or practical research experience at an equivalent level, demonstrating advanced expertise in research design, ethics, governance or reporting.
Substantial experience in research ethics, research governance or research leadership, ideally across multiple projects or teams.
Experience in strategic planning, departmental oversight or senior‑level decision‑making, whether in a volunteer, academic or professional context.
A strong track record of ethical decision‑making, particularly in roles where judgement, integrity and risk assessment were central.
Experience with research reporting, research communication or academic publication processes is highly beneficial.
A strong interest in ethical governance, research integrity and maintaining high standards across research projects.
Familiarity with GDPR and responsible data management practices, or willingness to develop this knowledge quickly.
Experience working with volunteers or mixed‑experience teams is advantageous.

We're growing our volunteering team and looking to recruit 2 Lead Volunteers for our Communications & Marketing Team (and 2 Lead Volunteers specifically for Content.) The successful candidates will have the overall responsibility for the Charity’s communications and marketing. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for promoting a charity supporting a rare condition and can support and lead a volunteering team as well as plan and use communication tools such as websites, social media, Canva and other digital platforms.
This is a flexible volunteering opportunity, which means your commitment can be balanced around your lifestyle - being part of a team to ensure that communications to our community and supporters are up to date and timely.
You will provide leadership for your team and support the development of a communications plan for the charity.
Key Tasks and Objectives
● Lead a team of communications and marketing volunteers.
● Lead and co-ordinate internal projects, activities and campaigns that help build awareness of our organisation and its aims.
● Run the meetings for the Communications & Marketing Team on a monthly basis.
● Regularly meet with and be the point of contact for the lead volunteers for Content, Social Media and Email Marketing to co-ordinate and plan.
● Where and if possible, to also be an active part of the Communications & Marketing Team either as a content writer, copy writer or another role.
● Identifying, initiating and leading on projects which align to the strategy and realise our goals.
● Collaborate with the team.
● To support the charity in develping a visual form of our Annual Report or other reporting documents such as grant reports.
● Support the development and implementation of the Communications Strategy.
● Protecting our charity brand identity, ensuring it is delivered consistently, both internally and externally.
● Promote the charity across all our channels and forms of communication.
● Ensure effective, regular communication to both internal and external audiences.
● Review progress and effectiveness of the Communications Strategy on an annual basis.

● Creativity regarding message management and medium.
● Good IT skills.
● Ability to motivate and enthuse others.
● To be a part of a team.
● Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.
● Experience of using Canva or similar design packages.
● A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and supportive Volunteer Campaign Support Coordinator to oversee and assist with live prize draw campaigns on the platform.
This role focuses on ensuring creators feel supported throughout their campaign, that key communications are delivered on time, and that each live draw runs as smoothly and successfully as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support all live prize draw campaigns on the platform
Liaise with creators throughout the live campaign period to provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support
Schedule, diarise, and send campaign communications using approved templates
Coordinate with internal team members when campaigns go live
Provide reminders, tips, and prompts to help creators maximise engagement
Respond to creator enquiries and provide assistance as needed
Conduct support calls where appropriate
Maintain accurate records of communications and campaign progress using our CRM management system
Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
Strong customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using computers and online systems
Experience using a CRM or similar database system

The Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and proactive Volunteer Events Coordinator to manage activity experiences awarded to campaign winners and support the development of new partnerships.
This is a key operational role ensuring experiences run smoothly from planning through to completion, while also helping to secure activity sponsors for monthly charitable campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage activity bookings for campaign winners through partner providers
Liaise directly with creators and winners to arrange meet and greet experiences
Collect availability from winners for experiences booked on their behalf
Confirm bookings, manage logistics, and communicate details clearly to all parties
Send reminders and follow ups to ensure experiences proceed as planned
Support post event engagement, including encouraging appropriate social sharing
Build and maintain strong relationships with activity providers
Proactively identify, approach, and secure activity providers willing to sponsor experiences for monthly charitable prize draws (ideally one per month)
Assist in developing long term partnerships with activity sponsors and collaborators
Organise security arrangements when required through approved security partners
Maintain accurate records of bookings, communications, and outcomes using our CRM management system. Experience using a CRM or similar database is required. We currently use HubSpot, which would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided.

We’ve designed our volunteering programme to be flexible and adaptive to you. All volunteering is 100% remote and you’re supported fully by our team. You control what you do and how many hours per week you want to volunteer. Some roles may require an Enhanced DBS check. If your application is successful, we will ask for a donation towards the cost of your enhanced DBS check if it's required for your role. This cost is £22.60.
