Purpose of the role

Content generation

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.
The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.
We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. We currently have over 100 registered volunteers and over 2000 members of our online community, and you will work closely with our Volunteer & Community Coordinator to ensure that our members are at the heart of what we do.
The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable.

About the role

Main Responsibilities
Community Fundraising Delivery & Growth
- Working with the Community Fundraising Manager, develop and deliver a community fundraising strategy for both new and existing activities.

Role Purpose
The Education Trainer supports the Education Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for education professionals equipping them to support bereaved children, young people, adults and communities.
Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures schools and educational staff have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and adults.
We are recruiting for two Education Trainers, both to work full-time hours (35 per week). One term-time only and the other to work year-round.
Main Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the Education Team and the team’s administrator to co-ordinate training requests responses.
- Working with the Education Manager and colleagues, support the design of training programmes tailored to the needs of the training delegates.
- Deliver the organisation’s education training packages online and/or face-to-face as required.

Role Purpose
The Adult Bereavement Counsellor provides therapeutic support to adults- particularly parents and carers- who are experiencing acute or complex grief following the death of a child.
The post holder will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions working therapeutically using a range of counselling methods, approaches, and techniques, consistent with Level 3 of the NICE psychological intervention framework (2004).

Job Purpose
To work as a member of Gaddum Therapeutic Services which includes Counsellors, Social Workers, Art Therapists, and Play Therapists.
To provide therapeutic support to CYP who have become stuck in their grieving process following a bereavement of a significant person. This will include one to one work and occasional group work which will usually take place at the child’s school, community venue or remotely via telephone or online video.
To offer advice and guidance to professionals and carers who contact us following a child’s complex bereavement. Effective working relationships with parents, carers and other professionals will be a crucial element of the role.
Main Duties
o To be accountable to the CYP Therapy Coordinator.
o Act as an initial point of contact for family members and professionals considering a referral to the service or requesting advice and guidance.
o Provide support in the grieving process, offering advice, making an initial assessment of need and signposting to other services where appropriate.
o Following assessment, offer therapeutic intervention to CYP, supporting their adjustment to loss and building resilience. Interventions should meet the assessed needs of each individual.
o Ensure all involved with the CYP understand the complexities of a bereavement, including those experienced as a result of trauma.
o Maintain case records, monitor and evaluate your work in line with the organisations processes and protocols.
o Undertake regular reviews with family members and other professionals as appropriate.

Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, Our Support Worker provides casework support for male, trans and non-binary sex workers, which could include areas like homelessness, sexual health, mental health, substance use and chemsex. As a creative charity, Our Support Worker will also support delivery of our creative sessions and creative projects. This is an opportunity to specialise and take a leading role developing an element of Support and Advocacy, such as outreach, sexual health or mental health.

EASST is seeking an exceptional leader to build on the strong foundations EASST has laid by its outgoing founder, ensuring that the organisation’s impact continues to grow and that we remain at the forefront of road safety and sustainable mobility across the region and beyond.
The Director General functions as the Chief Executive of the charity, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to fulfil EASST's mission and objectives.
The postholder acts as a key ambassador for the charity, ensuring effective governance, sustainable funding and finances, and the development of robust relationships with stakeholders, donors, and the wider community. The Director General also leads EASST Expertise, EASST's wholly owned trading subsidiary, serving as a Director of the company and providing strategic oversight of its consultancy operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the charity’s strategic plans and activities, in collaboration with and reporting to the Board of Trustees.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as EASST’s primary spokesperson, promoting the charity to donors, beneficiaries, partners, policymakers, and the public.
- Governance: Ensure the charity complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, reporting to the Board on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Project Delivery: Lead and manage delivery of specific development projects as needed by the organisation.
- Financial Management: Oversee the charity's finances, including budgeting, financial planning, fundraising strategies, and resource allocation to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Operational Responsibility: Oversee the charity’s operations, including programme delivery, and the development of policies and procedures.
- Fundraising and Development: Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors, grant-makers, corporate partners, and supporters.
- Team Leadership: Develop and motivate staff, who operate as a remote team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Ensure robust monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities, reporting outcomes to Trustees and stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role within the charity, not-for-profit, or public sector.
- Significant experience working at a senior level in the field of Road Safety and/or Sustainable Transportation.
- An understanding of global road safety challenges, global conventions and initiatives.
- Experience in EASST countries of operation is desirable and proficiency in a regional language is an advantage.
- Familiarity/experience/contacts with international organisations promoting, supporting or funding road safety is desirable.
- Strong strategic planning and management skills. Excellent and persuasive communicator and relationship-builder.
- Understanding of charity governance, regulatory frameworks, and best practice in fundraising and programme delivery.
- Collaborative, resilient, and committed to the charity’s mission and values.
- The postholder must have a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and be conscious and respectful of other cultures.

Terms and Conditions
- Location: Based in the United Kingdom, with the right to work in the UK. The team currently works remotely with no office base.
- Travel: Significant travel may be required both within the region served by EASST and to conferences and other events.
- Hours: This is a full-time post and will require flexibility to meet the demands of funders and the partner network.
- Salary: The salary offered for this post is up to £70K (negotiable) plus 10% pension contribution and 30 days holiday per year.
The post holder is appointed by the Trustees and will report to the Board of Trustees on a regular basis.
