Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow
The Church of England in London is growing, vibrant and at the heart of communities throughout the capital. At the London Diocesan Fund we seek to do everything we can to support this mission and growth, using our resources to help our parishes and chaplains to serve over 4 million people.
The Diocese of London (LDF) is seeking a Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow to play a key role within the strategic 2023 Vision team and Willesden team, based from St Johns, Southall.
Introduction
The Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow is an exciting initiative that seeks to see church growth within a diverse and complex multi-ethnic, multi-religious area. We anticipate that growth will be evident in the planting of fifteen new congregations with significant numbers of new Christians, a growing depth of discipleship across the thirteen parishes and in tangible signs of both personal and social impact.
Crucially this project will sit under a Bishop’s Mission Order, led by the Bishop of Willesden, and seeks to resource the leadership potential of at least sixty lay leaders from mainly South Asian and African/African-Caribbean heritage backgrounds.
The Project Manager’s prime focus will be to enable and ensure the vision of the mission area becomes a reality. We are seeking a highly effective manager of change who has an abiding passion to see others flourish, and can provide administrative oversight, compliance, co-ordination and communication support to the Transforming Southall and North Hounslow Team to ensure that we equip, resource and support the mission area, including its clergy, lay leaders, volunteers, and parishes.
Main Responsibilities
The Project Manager will have experience of overseeing change and working with multiple stakeholders. They will be emotionally intelligent and capable of being adaptable when circumstances change and where context demands a different approach. They will have both a high level perspective and a strong attention to detail, with experience of leading and enabling others to deliver their goals.
Core responsibilities:
- Establishing project management systems and processes
- Overseeing the administrative leadership of the project
- Building good relationships with all thirteen parishes
- Resourcing and enabling the core team of mission lead, planting enablers and administrators
- Managing the delivery of the project within budget, monitoring the budget against outcomes
- Reporting the progress of the project to the Strategic Development Unit, Diocese and Bishop’s Mission Order Board
- Ensuring there is effective communication to stakeholders
- Ensure staff, lay leaders and volunteers are recruited on time and with good safe practice

About the team
The Digital team was created in 2022, with aims including ‘to update our use of systems so that they better meet our needs, provide answers more quickly and easily, and increase the robustness and efficiency of the ways we use data’ as well as to ‘help us change the way we work, not just the systems we use.’
Until now a one-person team, we are adding the CRM and Analytics Manager role to provide a greater focus for development of our key data systems, and to meet increased demand from across Impetus as we drive use of CRM. The team works cross-organisationally, providing development for, collaborating via established working groups with, all teams within Impetus.
About this role
We are looking for a talented professional with a passion for maximising the value of data, who is looking to join an organisation where they can put their skills to use across all aspects of our operations. You will join at a key time to develop and embed our work in this area, providing key support to all of our teams as well as expanding and improving the range of data available to us.
You will lead on the development, administration, and staff engagement with, and training on, our Salesforce CRM system. This will include data from, and collaboration with, all departments of Impetus, including our donors and prospects, our collaboration with partner charities, and our communications with email audiences. You will also manage the relationship with our existing Salesforce partner agency, drawing on them for additional support resource and coordinating broader development projects.
You will also aggregate, visualise, and draw relevant insight from data across our systems, including Salesforce, Google Analytics, and our social media platforms. In time, we will look to combine our own data with other external and open data. Since Impetus is in the early stages of making the best use of this cross-systems, cross-organisational data, you will have broad freedom and responsibility to set the overall direction of development, in collaboration with relevant teams, as well as the specific dashboards and other outputs that you create.
The successful candidate will have experience developing and drawing value from Salesforce, including both technical development and collaborating closely with teams to drive engagement and best practice. You will also have experience of working with a broad range of data to produce high quality visual and analytic outputs and a commitment to enabling data-driven decision-making.
This position requires someone that can collaborate with a wide variety of teams as well as frequently working independently and with a high degree of autonomy. You will be able to own CRM for an impactful, curious, and growing organisation, as well as providing it with the usable insight it craves to further grow and deliver impact.
Key responsibilities
CRM:
- Own the development and administration of our Salesforce system
- Work with all teams at Impetus to maximise their engagement with Salesforce and provide relevant training
- Collaborate with our Salesforce support partner to leverage additional administration, and development project, resource
- Gather information and data to identify business requirements and processes for adding to, or further developing on, Salesforce.
- Evaluate technical solutions in terms of meeting business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including the project team, to ensure requirements are fully and accurately understood.
- Collaborate with the Comms team to ensure we are making the most effective and efficient use of Pardot for our email lists.
- Develop reporting within Salesforce.
- Answer staff queries and ad hoc requests.
Analytics:
- Lead the development, and administration of our data integration and transformation and Data Warehouse systems
- Lead the development of our organisational reporting (initial development in Domo, but likewise open to moving to e.g. PowerBI)

- Identifying and using open data, for example from government departments around employment and education

- Advanced knowledge of, and significant experience with, Salesforce development in a professional context
- Significant experience of collaborating closely with varied stakeholders to determine requirements, evaluate solutions, and plan development

JOB TITLE: Diversity and Inclusion in Grocery Senior Project Manager

The Charity
GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857. It provides free and confidential welfare support to anyone working in the grocery industry, from the first day of their employment. More than 350 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 44,000 people in the last twelve months alone. The charity raises funds through a highly respected yearly events calendar and the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in Grocery programme.
D&I in Grocery Programme
The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme truly created for the industry by the industry. With over 90 FMCG partners, it is the largest collaboration of FMCG brands, working towards the common goal to accelerate a truly diverse and inclusive grocery industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:
- A 12-month cross-industry mentoring programme which provides equity and opportunity to historically underrepresented communities
- Shared learning resources within The Partner Hub including podcasts, monthly learning labs and cross industry ERG Forums
- D&I in Grocery Live! unites the industry once a year, at the largest D&I event in the grocery sector
- Tracks tangible progress annually through the new D&I in Grocery Maturity Model
- Connects partners on different topics to share and learn from each other to accelerate their journey
Main purpose of the role
As a senior member of the D&I in Grocery team, you will play an integral part in managing partners and supporting them through their D&I journey. Lead on the Mentoring workstream and manage D&I in Grocery’s first ever Maturity Model. The role suits someone with outstanding stakeholder management skills and excellent project management capabilities. The role requires the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and be flexible in approach to changing responsibilities across workstreams due to the nature of the D&I landscape and fast spaced industry.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Ownership of partner accounts. Building top quality relationships to achieve maximum engagement and support partners with their D&I journey. Ensuring retention year on year
- Lead on the Mentoring workstream with the support of the Mentoring Steering Group
- Lead on the future development of the Maturity Model with the support of the Maturity Model Subgroup and Head of D&I
- Be an advocate of the programme, a supportive team member and champion GroceryAid values
Relationship Management
- Build relationships and manage high profile partner accounts, across three touchpoints a year to support them on their D&I journey. Discussing maturity model results, gaining insight, and ensuring partners are utilising all aspects of the programme and encouraging connections to accelerate change.
- Utilising relationships to create leads for hosting webinars, sharing content, and joining steering groups
- Support the Senior Relationship Manager to deliver three virtual Partner Session events a year
- Achieve revenue targets across retention and acquisition
Mentoring Programme
- Lead on the delivery of the Mentoring workstream and gain feedback for future improvements
- Manage the Mentoring Steering Group, working with them to deliver on the programme’s vision, deliver virtual onboarding events, in person mentee networking events and cohort graduations
- Successfully match over 220+ mentees and 220+ mentors and support candidates on their journey

Maturity Model
- Lead on future developments of the model with the Maturity Model subgroup
- With the support of the project co-ordinator manage the model and run analytics as and when needed

Project Management
- Responsible for end-to-end project and event delivery, on time, in scope, to budget and highlighting risks
- Ownership of project governance with steering / subgroups, through creating agendas, accurate minutes, proposals, and yearly roadmap. Succession planning for Chair and Deputy Chair rotations every two years
- Track and achieve KPI’s across the programme scorecard

SURBITON Shop Manager – Part Time
Every 6 minutes someone learns that they are losing their sight. Every five hours, a baby is born with sight problems. In these moments, two profound questions emerge:

The merger of Fight for Sight and Vision Foundation on 1st April 2023 will enable us to address both questions. By combining our strengths and expertise we’ll be the only significant national funder with the efficiency, capability, and capacity to increase investment in medical research and social improvement. Together we can mitigate both the prevalence and impact of sight loss.
We have a clear ambition, led by our CEO, Keith Valentine, who has valuable lived experience of sight loss. This ambition includes retail growth plans and an income generation strategy to open more shops over the next 5 years. We currently operate 10 shops selling donated goods, including an online eBay shop.

Role Requirements
Operational Management

Introduction to the role
This role will ensure that we are developing partnerships and applying for new funding in line with our business objective and values. You will report into the CEO and work closely with senior colleagues across the organisation. SPANA - The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad is the global charity for working animals in low-income countries. Since 1923, we have supported the welfare of working animals, including donkeys, horses, camels and elephants, in communities that depend on working animals for water, transport, agriculture and their very survival. We are looking for a Global Resources Coordinator to ensure operations within our global resources team run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include providing general administrative support to different teams within Global Resources, manage supply of office resources and equipment, arrange travel, managing relationships with key suppliers, coordinating schedules and meetings and supporting HR administrative duties.
While we classify this role as hybrid, it's worth noting that the vast majority of your work can be done from the comfort of your own home. Occasional in-person visits to our London office (located in Borough High Street), and all-staff gatherings will be necessary. Our full time hours are 34.5 hours per week and we offer core working hours between 10am and 4pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assist staff and visitors with travel booking and coordination when travelling overseas, including booking flights, arranging visas and travel vaccinations.
- Main contact for travel agent building good working relationship.
- Support the Global Resources Director to coordinate and track all insurance policy renewals.
- Liaise with insurance brokers on renewals to ensure competitive costing and ensure timely renewal for all insurance premiums.
- Maintain and order office supplies, stationery, and equipment from the most competitive suppliers.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, preparing weekly vacancy listing, supporting interviews, checking references, and drafting employment contracts.
- Support induction processes for new joiners.

What will I be responsible for?
You will report into and be required to meet with the Head of Care Operations & Registered Manager on a regular basis to communicate oversight of our operations and ensure they have effective governance to fully evidence compliance and positive outcomes in the event of a CQC inspection, alongside your input during the inspection process.
You will oversee the operational day-to-day management of our professional care support services, ensuring care hour targets are met and ensuring Crossroads Care Surrey’s continued compliance with relevant legislation.
