The Director of Major Gifts is a frontline fundraiser responsible for driving philanthropic growth by managing a portfolio of high-impact donors. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospects capable of leadership annual, major, and planned gifts. Essential qualifications/experience:

JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Policy and Public Affairs Manager is a high-impact role, central to designing and delivering Magic Breakfast’s national policy and public affairs strategy in England. The role holder will lead the development of evidence-based policy positions and work collaboratively to drive forward strategic, integrated and impactful advocacy campaigns to successfully influence decision-makers, policy change, and funding frameworks aligned with our key objectives. Specifically, you will also lead the design and implementation of our new workstream to expand school breakfast provision to secondary schools and early years settings, alongside our work to ensure the effective implementation of the Free Breakfast Club Programme.
More broadly, you will keep abreast of political developments relevant to Magic Breakfast - proactively identifying opportunities to respond, influence and shape the debate across the school food system and provide strategic, analytical and timely advice to the Senior Leadership Team.
Using your excellent communication skills, you will be able to translate complex policy into tailored and effective communications, policy briefings, positions and submissions, and will play a lead role in confidently engaging external stakeholders including UK Government Ministers, Parliamentarians, special advisers, officials and sector partners.

The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for UK schools, you will play a pivotal role in growing our school partner base which will enable us to support even more young people with making informed decisions about their next steps.
You will need to be target-driven and proactive. While you will be fully supported by the UK schools team, you will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.

The Role
In September 2024, National Numeracy launched a new ‘Schools & Families Programme’ to support primary schools to increase pupils’ confidence with numbers, positive feelings about maths, and awareness of the value of maths outside the classroom. The programme also works to improve parents’, carers’ and school staff’s own confidence with numbers and supporting children with their maths. The programme has been hugely successful and is growing rapidly, supporting over 400 schools each year.
National Numeracy are now looking to expand this work into secondary schools across the UK.
The Schools & Families Officer will support the Schools & Families Programme Manager in managing fast-paced activity across the UK, including helping to deliver online training directly to school staff, recruiting schools, and visiting selected schools to ensure the success of the programme. The Schools & Families Officer will also support with the design and delivery of the new programme in secondary schools.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provide peer support services via the transition service for One Adoption. You will support individual families with peer to peer goal-based intervention servicedeliverable via 6 sessions of support (1-1).
Provide peer support services via dedicated support phone line, bookable sessions & email cover. This will be delivered via rota’dsessions for the Eastern Region Peer Support Line.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct 1-1 support
•To work with families to achieve agreed goal-based outcomes.
•To work to a plan for transition.
•To signpost families to relevant support.
•To provide 6 online support sessions of 1 hour via TEAMS covering the programme topics agreed within timescale.
•To follow a programme of support and monitor progress regularly.
•To empower families to work closely with schools, settings and relevant professionals encouraging them to build and strengthen relationships.
•To complete admin and paperwork relevant to the family including evaluation paperwork.
Support Line
•Following a scheduled work pattern, respond to adopters calling in to alive phone line, providing a listening ear & signposting to relevant resources/information.
•Following a rota ensuring bookable sessions are responded to, listening & signposting where required
•Monitor & respond to emails within your scheduled shifts.
•Ensure feedback texts are sent at the end of each interaction with a caller.
General
•Retain accurate records in accordance with Adoption UK policy and practice, complying with GDPR legislation.
•To ensure compliance with appropriate Adoption UK policies and procedures

Head of Anti-Bullying Alliance and Schools Wellbeing Partnership
Contract: Maternity cover. Fixed-term, 10-months (from June 2026)
Work Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours per week (We are open to flexible hours and working patterns, including accommodating part-time and compressed hours where possible).

About the Role
This role provides senior leadership for the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) and the Schools Wellbeing Partnership (SWP), two specialist membership groups hosted by the National Children’s Bureau that support schools, organisations and government to improve children and young people’s experiences of bullying, wellbeing and belonging. The post is a 10 month maternity leave cover position, focused on maintaining continuity, stability and impact across established programmes, partnerships and campaigns.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) is a UK wide membership network of over 300 organisations working together to prevent bullying and create safer environments for children and young people. It leads national activity such as Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day, develops evidence informed resources and training, and influences policy and practice at a national level.
The Schools Wellbeing Partnership (SWP) supports schools to embed whole school approaches to wellbeing and belonging through networks, tools and peer learning with school leaders and partners across England.
During the maternity cover period, the postholder will ensure the smooth delivery of core programmes and campaigns, including leadership of Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day planning, communications and partnerships. They will maintain relationships with members, funders, government, parliamentarians and high profile supporters, sustain policy engagement and external visibility, and support income generation activity already in progress. The role also includes management of the team, oversight of communications activity, and maintaining momentum across existing projects and networks while providing stable and supportive team leadership.
