Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional who will play a key role in The Horton’s financial health and future resilience.

The Horton is a registered charity and an award-winning independent cultural venue in Epsom, Surrey hosting live performance, creative arts and events in stunning listed building and gardens. 

As the sole end-to-end finance position, the Finance Manager is a rewarding and varied role. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of all financial operations for both the registered charity and its trading subsidiary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in charity finance and the ambition to grow into a strategic financial leader.

Candidiates should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or qualified by experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in similar finance roles. 

Demonstrable experience of financial management in the UK charity/nonprofit sector is desirable.
