The role

We are looking for a passionate change-maker to be our Policy & Social Change Manager, building the roadmap for strategic programmes that raise awareness, reduce stigma, and generate systemic change. The role will involve movement building and close collaboration, working with our charitable network to raise our collective voice at a national level. You will represent us in the policy and advocacy environment, holding relationships with government departments, civil servants and cross-sector alliances.

Your efforts will particularly focus on our End Hygiene Poverty campaign, working in partnership with The Hygiene Bank, and our coordinating role for the Period Equity Alliance. We believe no one should have to face the choice to heat, eat or feel clean. These two programmes tackle different parts of the systems that keep too many people going without or feeling ashamed. The scale of poverty in the UK is simply too big for any one organisation to solve. You will develop a coordinated advocacy approach to build alliances for change.

You will work closely with our marketing team to develop our voice, and our impact team to maximise our strong evidence base. Ideally you would have experience of narrative change, political advocacy and systemic thinking, but if you’re passionate about ending poverty and have led successful collaborations, delivered social change or run brilliant campaigns then we would love to hear from you. You will work closely with the Partnerships & Impact Director and CEO, with the autonomy to help shape our direction. 
The role is based out of our London Bridge office. We operate a hybrid working practice and expect the individual to be in the office for two days each week, and working remotely, usually from home for up to three days a week. This role is subject to DBS checking.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the development and implementation of a fully integrated advocacy strategy, aligning key objectives of more influence, more products and more impact.

We are now seeking an outstanding Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships to provide strategic leadership for this vital programme. Reporting to the Fundraising Director and managing a team of 15 (with five direct reports), the role combines high-level leadership with hands-on engagement with major donors and senior stakeholders.

This is a pivotal moment for Greenpeace UK’s Key Relationships programme. The role is responsible for diversifying, growing and achieving income through existing income streams, including: trusts and foundations, major donors, giving circles (JUSTICE60 and NextGen J60), corporate partnerships, membership as well as seeking out and creating new streams.

By working closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, the Director will build long-term, strong relationships with funders and partners, strengthen the organisation’s case for support and ensure fundraising is aligned with the charity’s strategic priorities.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Reprieve in a senior leadership position that brings together legal, compliance, governance, finance and operational oversight.

The Director (Legal and Operations) will play a central role in ensuring Reprieve runs effectively, is well-governed and has strong foundations for impact. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be a trusted advisor across the organisation providing expert guidance on organisational legal matters including employment law, compliance, sanctions, data protection, contracts, privilege, and managing relationships with key partners (you will not be responsible for strategic litigation relating to clients or day-to-day casework as these issues are handled by the casework teams).

You will also support the effective functioning of our Board, ensuring strong governance processes and compliance with our charitable and regulatory obligations. A key part of the role is skilled risk management - helping the organisation navigate complexity while enabling rather than constraining our work.

Reporting to the CEO, you will line manage the Head of Operations and Head of Finance, providing strategic direction and support to ensure these functions are operating as effectively as possible and that relevant information is able to be communicated appropriately and clearly to the Board.

This is a role that spans the technical and the operational, requiring someone who is comfortable working across different domains - from legal and compliance questions to organisational functioning, budgets and Board management. We're looking for someone with a sharp legal mind who understands NGO governance, has good judgment and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with teams across the organisation.

Terms

This is a full-time role on a permanent contract. The annual salary is £71,379 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home. The ITF is looking for an experienced administrative/ global operations leader to head our administration department. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of support for governance, meetings and events across our departments including land transport, civil aviation and tourism, women transport workers, young transport workers, legal, campaigns, communications, and the office of the general secretary.

About the Role

The Head of Global Administration leads the ITF’s global administration function, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative, travel, language and governance support services across the organisation. The role provides strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the systems, processes and resources are in place to support ITF programmes, campaigns and governance activities worldwide.

It leads a global administration team with six direct reports, including administration coordinators, the travel coordinator and translation coordinators.

You will work closely with ITF regional offices and affiliates worldwide to ensure consistent, high-quality administrative support across the organisation.

Overseeing all administrative processes, you will maintain constructive relationships with affiliates and social partners, manage venue and service contracts, and support accurate and timely budget administration. Working closely with the Director of Global Campaigns and Operations, senior leaders and regional colleagues, you will help strengthen administrative systems that are efficient, coordinated and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Global Administration workplan and contribute to ITF organisational planning and budgeting.
• Lead and develop the ITF global administration team, ensuring effective deployment of resources and high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement the ITF’s language and travel strategies.
• Oversee the operational delivery of governance meetings, conferences and events including Congress.
• Lead improvements in administrative systems and processes, supporting standardisation, automation and simplification.
• Manage relationships with affiliates, suppliers and service providers.
• Support the Office of the General Secretary and senior leadership with high-level administrative coordination.
• Work collaboratively with regional and departmental administrative teams to maintain consistent global standards.

About You

You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong track record of leading teams and improving systems. You bring sound judgement, a solutions-focused approach and the ability to support people in a complex, fast-moving environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience managing administrative /operational teams, with an inclusive and supportive leadership style.
• Experience developing and implementing organisational policies or administrative systems.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and regions in an international organisation.
• Strong knowledge of administrative practices, and experience applying them in complex organisations.
• Proficiency in management functions, including line management, event management, contract negotiation, budget oversight, financial reporting and supplier coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and work productively with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong digital administration skills including Microsoft 365, data analysis, reporting and familiarity with event or workflow management systems.
