Our Mediation and Separated Parents Service will help families through conflict resolution, support separated parents and provide safe, child focussed contact. As Service Manager, you’ll be instrumental in developing and shaping this service, alongside establishing and overseeing new child contact centre services.
This role combines service leadership with operational management, focusing on quality assurance, safeguarding and continuous improvement, and sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will be an experienced service manager within mediation, parental conflict resolution, family courts or child contact settings, including contract delivery, project management, partnership working and managing teams.
You will have knowledge of legal, quality and safeguarding frameworks and experience of managing safeguarding issues. You will be solution focussed, providing positive leadership and working as part of our dedicated, friendly management team.
In this developing role, you’ll be able to think strategically and be comfortable being hands on. Initially your focus will be increasing our existing mediation service and separated parents support and managing a small team of practitioners, and then setting up child contact centre services (in line with our NACCC Accreditation) and recruiting new staff and volunteers.
Flexibility in working hours to meet service needs and manage risk or safety concerns is needed and some evening hours may be required and some travelling to other offices and external meeting will be necessary. Ideally it’s a full-time (37.5 hours per week), but we are open to 4 days or part time working arrangements for the right person.
The post is based at the Birmingham Office, with some hybrid working available. We offer ongoing development, 25 days leave, professional development, a pension scheme and staff wellbeing support.

Benslow Music, a thriving musical hub based on a campus in Hitchin, is seeking a Head of Music & Learning to lead the strategic development and delivery of its diverse programmes. We champion the life‑long benefits music brings through a programme of residential, day and online music courses, a concert series and an instrument loan scheme.
We’re rooted in a heritage that began in 1929 as the Rural Music Schools Association, growing into a lively campus with two recital halls, practice rooms, accommodation for around 50 people and an extensive music library. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base.
As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.
Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and strengthening practices

Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

Lead on the piloting, implementation and revision of Sightsavers MEL approaches in existing and new projects including strong links with LAMP; support MEL team members to implement appropriate tools.

Job Description
- To recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop a staff team including carrying out annual appraisals and regular supervision meetings. To manage their health, safety and wellbeing.
- To promote and embed Catch22’s vision and values in local service delivery
- To ensure all service user information, interventions and other data as required by the contract are recorded on the relevant data management system in line with Catch22’s policy.
- Weekly review of service data to identify any risks to service delivery, and outcome performance and put in place corrective actions.
- To be the designated safeguarding lead in the service, ensure that all safeguarding processes are followed and to be Catch22’s representative on local safeguarding boards where appropriate.
- To manage operational risk, health and safety, governance and safeguarding issues in line with Catch22 and Commissioner policies.
- Carry out regular case file audits as per the Audit Policy and Procedure and implement any service improvement or process change as a result of audit outcomes.
- To monitor referrals to the service ensuring they are in line with the volumes and eligibility criteria for the service; manage engagement with key stakeholders to promote the service and generate appropriate referrals to ensure the service / funding reaches the most appropriate young people.

The Role – Individual Giving Assistant Manager
The Fundraising Department of Chester Zoo, a major wildlife charity, with a mission of Preventing Extinction works to secure income which contributes towards the delivery of our strategic development plan and ambitious conservation plan, helping to ensure nature can survive and thrive.
Reporting to the Fundraising & Philanthropy Lead and working with the wider Fundraising team, the Individual Giving Assistant Manager will lead on securing and managing small to medium donations from individuals. This includes our newly created Patron Scheme, multiple fundraising campaigns and all challenge events for the zoo (including Run for Nature).
We are looking for a proactive and conscientious individual who will take a data led approach to raise money in effective and creative ways, working with our Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Data and Insights Manager to identify patterns and drive donations through individual giving. They will also manage and drive revenue through onsite giving mechanisms including in-memory, naming opportunities and point of sale giving – all whilst helping to strengthen our supporter base and foster their long-term relationships with the zoo.
They will work across the organisation to support our team of conservationists and scientists at Chester Zoo to engage, train and support targets within our strategically important field, education and science led projects.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Fundraising Strategy: Help to develop and implement new plans to continue to grow our Individual Giving income led by the Fundraising & Philanthropy Lead
- Prospect Development: Work with our Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Data and Insights Manager to identify patterns in giving using data from our CRM and drive donations through appeals and public campaigns across the organisation
- Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Develop an annual programme of stewardship and contact opportunities
- Campaigns: Develop and deliver engaging campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, digital, email, on-site) aiming to grow a sustainable donor base. Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance using data to optimise and drive continuous improvement and donor retention
- Onsite Giving: Maximise onsite giving opportunities including naming around animal habitats and our newly installed Celebration Tree, alongside site wide donation boxes, point of sale items, round-up giving and contactless.
