We are looking to recruit an Assistant Family Services Practitioner to assist with the provision of our whole family holistic approach. You will plan and support safe, creative, inclusive, and appropriate play opportunities for children and young people from a range of age groups. In addition to this, you will work with the team to ensure that children are supported with their learning through activities such as after school, homework clubs, practical and other activities when required. You will also work with the team to assist with the development and delivery of the Family Services outreach offer which will require some traveling to other settings to deliver our services off site. These may include temporary accommodation hotels or community venues in Westminster. Additional travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Please note that this role requires flexibility to allow for changes to the weekly rota to meet the needs of our clients. The Family Centre is open on Saturdays and will require some Saturday working. The work pattern rotates from Tuesday – Saturday or Monday – Friday.

This role will be prison based. The Research Manager – Grant funding will work closely with members of the Research Funding team and is responsible for delivering and supporting the charity’s grant-making activities across the full funding lifecycle—from application and peer review to post-award monitoring. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Grants Programme Management

· Lead the operational delivery of grants review and management, from launch to funding decisions.

· Support the Senior Research Manager to develop the Grant Review Board, sub-panels and expert review processes, to support future growth in funding and ensure robust fair assessment of application, in line with AMRC principles.

· Support the Research Contracts Manager with the execution of contractual agreements with research organisations, and post-award management including monitoring research expenditure and post-award change requests.

· Be a Subject Matter Expert for the grants management system and maintain accurate grant records and ensure internal and external stakeholders have access to accurate data.

· Champion the implementation of the new Grants Management system across the organisation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

· Act as a primary contact for applicants, reviewers, and grant holders.

· Support researchers with guidance throughout the application and award process.

· Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Fundraising, Science Communications) to coordinate grant-related activities and support effective communication of grant information to stakeholders

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.

Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.

This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.

This role is responsible for:

• Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
• Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
• Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
• Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary

For this role we’re looking for:

• SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge

Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. The café manager is responsible for leading all team members both paid staff and volunteers in the efficient and self sustaining operation of the cafe. Working Arrangements

28 days paid holiday per year plus public holidays.
