About the role

As our Influencer Manager, you’ll lead the way in helping us reach new audiences through trusted, authentic voices. You’ll work with teams across the RNLI to deliver campaigns that inspire support, encourage safe behaviour around the coast and inland waters, and shine a light on the work of our crews and lifeguards.

We are looking for a strategic and values-driven Communications Manager (maternity cover) to amplify Birthrights’ work to transform UK maternity care at a pivotal moment for the organisation. The UK Maths Trust is a charity that exists to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. We do this by working with hundreds of volunteers across the UK to organise Competitions and Challenges promoting problem solving and teamwork and other mathematical enrichment activities.

As an Administrator in the TMC team, you will work closely with the TMC Coordinator to support the delivery of the UKMT’s Team and Senior Team Maths Challenges.

Position: Team Maths Challenge (TMC) Administrator - Maternity Cover

About the Role

As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you’ll manage Facebook groups of up to 10,000 challenge participants, providing exceptional supporter care and helping participants raise five‑ and six‑figure sums for some of the biggest names in the charity sector.

Workload & Peak Periods

Our challenge calendar has natural peaks, and moderators must be prepared for increased activity during September-November and January-March. These months see higher participant numbers and more concurrent events, meaning more posts, questions and supporter interactions. In addition to these seasonal surges, the first and last day of every month are consistently the busiest, as participants start and complete their challenge.

We maintain a flexible, supportive team culture, and to keep this fairness and flexibility in place, moderators must be willing to work occasional bank holidays and be available on the first or last day of each month, when group activity is at its highest.

Communications Assistant

The Communications Assistant will provide hands-on support to the Communications Manager in the ideation, creation and delivery of our regular external communications. This includes helping to grow our social media following, creating and scheduling content, sourcing and designing images, providing copywriting support, and responding to comments across our channels. The role will also involve drafting and scheduling newsletters and providing administrative support with our databases.

This is a 15‑hour‑per‑week role, with the potential to grow in the future. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can spread their hours across the week to support consistent content delivery, but we are open to discussing alternative working patterns for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have experience in a communications, marketing or social media role. They will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and have basic video editing and/or animation skills. Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice for different channels are essential, as is confidence using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.

Self-employed part-time Communications Specialist vacancy – for regional group of a  
national environmental campaigning charity (Hybrid) 

CPRE North and East Yorkshire (CPRENEY) is a long-established charity working to protect, promote and enhance the countryside. We cover a huge area (6,900+ square miles!) from the River Tees in the north to Goole, south of the River Humber and west from the Yorkshire Dales to the East Yorkshire coast.  Our region comprises diverse landscapes and communities and includes some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK including the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks. Leveraging our land use and planning expertise, we respond to Local Plan consultations and provide support to members of the public and community groups to help shape development in ways that enrich the countryside and respond positively to the double threats of climate change and biodiversity loss. 

Right now, we are looking for an experienced individual to fill a new freelance role focused on creating content and managing all the charity’s external communications, with a particular focus on strengthening engagement with current and potential members/supporters. Applicants should have experience of and skills in online content development, website maintenance and use of social media channels / knowledge of SEO. 

As Director of External Affairs across the Bild Group of four small charities (with collective turnover of approx. £3m/yr), you will have a deep commitment to human rights and improving people’s lives.

You will provide strategic direction and leadership to the External Relations function across all four charities in the group, taking overall responsibility for and providing thought-leadership on our strategic approach to policy, influencing, public affairs, stakeholder engagement.

the3million is the largest grassroots organisation for EU citizens* in the UK, formed after the 2016 referendum to protect the rights of people who have made the UK their home. 

Our work ranges from organising EU citizens’ communities and informing people about their rights, to holding the Government to account on the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement and advocating for social justice.

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven and thoughtful Communications Manager to help shape and strengthen the3million’s public voice. The role focuses on sharing our work as widely and effectively as possible, through social media, supporter communications and news media. You will act as a spokesperson for the3million, write and develop communications materials, and help grow our supporters and donors base through lived-experience focused communications.

1. Communications strategy & leadership 

• Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of the communications strategy of the3million, working closely with the3million’s CEO, Head of Policy and Advocacy and Organising team to deliver timely strategic communications support

As the Impact and Fundraising Manager, you will work hands on with our delivery team to design data collection systems that feel manageable and purposeful, not burdensome. You take a methodical approach to understanding what data we need to showcase impact, then build the frameworks and provide the practical support to make collection happen across multiple methods. • Methodical approach to collecting data across multiple different methods, understanding what needs to be collected to showcase impact without being burdensome

• Hands on experience supporting frontline teams with data and impact collection, building their confidence and skills
