Within this role, you will manage and deliver Battersea’s Lottery & Lead Generation programme, maximising income and achieving budgeted targets and KPIs. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of three to deliver the programme effectively and professionally. You will also be responsible for managing the business-critical agency relationships key to the success of the programme.

Contract Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role.
The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This is a 6 month contract until 03/2026.
What you'll do:
- Drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
- Work with the Young People directorate, contributing to and delivering the vision and strategy of our pathway
- Maintaining excellent relationships with the local council, commissioning team, landlords, and housing team

Cancer Research UK's Cancer Intelligence (CI) team is part of our Evidence & Implementation (E&I) department within the Policy, Information and Communications directorate. The E&I department is integral in driving impact for people affected by cancer and improving patient outcomes by placing evidence at the heart of the charity's work. Through robust research, the department shapes and drives improvements to cancer policy and practice across prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, inequalities, and innovation.
What will I be doing?
Overseeing the planning, development and delivery of commissioned prevention policy research (PPR) and supporting the development of the new prevention policy strategy
Being responsible for signing off all policy research commissioned contracts, briefs, and outputs, ensuring they meet the Cancer Intelligence Team's evidence standards, adhering to wider CRUK policies, and aligning directly to the PIC prevention strategy
Supporting team members to maintain and develop their own knowledge bases and skillsets through appropriate training, horizon scanning and involvement in commissioned work
Developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the area of cancer prevention to identify common areas of work and identify gaps providing effective and pragmatic solutions
Leading on dissemination of PPR outputs, including grey literature reports, peer-reviewed articles, presentations (internal and external), stakeholder engagement and press activity
Liaising with the Cancer Prevention Knowledge Group Chair and other relevant experts to ensure that external insights are sought and appropriately incorporated into commissioned work
Managing the budgets for prevention policy research studies and working with relevant colleagues to commission work agreed through the existing governance structures
Gathering stakeholder feedback on strengths and weaknesses of existing team processes, including timeliness of outputs, quality of work and value for money

Glitch is looking for an Advocacy and Communications Manager to help support the charity's work — ensuring technology does not further or replicate discrimination towards Black women and gender-expansive people. This position offers the opportunity to lead on UK tech policy developing and promoting our Black feminist approach to key UK legislation through advocacy and communications to relevant audiences and stakeholders.
Specifically, you will lead on our tech-facilitated gender-based violence issue area, working on the Online Safety Act and engaging with relevant government ministers and parliamentarians, as well as our online violence against women coalition partners, and the Online Safety Act Network. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and proactive individual who will play a key role building strong relationships with decision-makers within businesses to help us deliver emergency shelter to the most vulnerable people hit by conflict, disaster and climate crises.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Volunteer Development Officer in our North region to deliver on the volunteering strategy for the Woodland Trust and Northern England region, that connects to the Trust strategy whilst responds to regional need, adapts to the changing trends in volunteering, and maximises opportunities for volunteers to add value to our work.
The Role:
• The role will support compliance including record keeping, induction and training, as well as develop new opportunities based on regional priorities and deliver a range of communication and face to face activities to create a safe and positive volunteering experience.
• You will run a range of activity to develop effective communication methods including writing articles, delivering events, supporting peer to peer support and shared learning so volunteers are engaged and feel valued.
• You are responsible for being the link between the National Volunteering Team and regional volunteer managers to ensure that managers feel supported and volunteers have a meaningful, safe and enjoyable experience.
• You will lead on regional recruitment of existing and new roles, in line with regional priorities to ensure volunteer roles are appropriate and support the needs of the Woodland Trust.
• This role is based in Northern England and will require the successful candidate to travel around the region.
• This role will require an enhanced DBS check as part of our pre-employment checks.

We are looking for candidates who have the following experience:
• Working with volunteers and volunteer managers including recruitment, training and managing volunteers with positive outcomes.
• Working across a range of teams at a regional level to support existing and develop new volunteering opportunities, ensuring the support of volunteering to undertake activities in a positive, fun and safe way.
• Developing new volunteering opportunities in line with regional and national strategies.
• You’ll have a collaborative approach, with the ability to work with multiple teams, building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• You’ll know how to deliver effective events including promotion, risk assessments for indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally being able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, especially volunteers using a variety of methods to suite the audience.
• This role does require regular travel around the North region. A full clean UK driving licence is required.

Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director
The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.
As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.
Core Responsibilities:
Fundraising strategy and development
- Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
- Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery.
- Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
- Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.
Organisational leadership
- Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
- Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.
- Foster a supportive work environment that’s true to RLS’s values.
Lead on funder relationships
- Develop and cultivate relationships with potential funders.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of funding opportunities to meet our targets and fulfil our strategy.
- Lead relationships with existing funders, ensuring that they’re regularly engaged and that all reporting deadlines are met.
- Support the Fundraising Officer to lead on certain funder relationships.
Proposal and application development
- Lead the development of compelling applications and proposals for funders.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all funding applications meet the needs of RLS and align with our strategy.
- Support the Fundraising Officer to deliver high quality proposals and applications.
Individual giving and major donors
- Work closely with the Fundraising Officer to develop and deliver a high quality individual giving programme to meet our fundraising targets.
- Manage relationships with major donors and further develop this income stream.
Communications and events
- Work closely with the Fundraising Officer to develop and deliver RLS’s communications strategy.
- Work with the Fundraising Officer and CEO to oversee and continue to develop RLS’s website.
- Organise and deliver events from time-to-time to support the delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy.
Risk management, reporting and record keeping
- Ensure that the Management Team and board have an accurate picture of RLS’s financial position, including a clear picture of risk.
- Oversee accurate records of funder and donor relationships and income through our CRM.
Representing RLS and occasional travel
- Represent RLS at events from time to time.
- Occasional travel, potentially including international travel.
Line management
- Provide high quality line management to the Fundraising Officer.
- In future, there may be other line management responsibilities as RLS’s staff changes to meet our new strategy.
Person Specification
- Senior leadership experience in income generation
- Proven success in securing significant, multi-source funding, including trusts and foundations.
- Expertise in developing long-term financial strategy and sustainability
- Experience in shaping and overseeing individual giving campaigns
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to find creative, innovative solutions and problem-solve.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to foster a team-wide understanding of and involvement in fundraising.
- Have a strong commitment to advancing migrant justice.

Operations Director
Oasis Community Partnerships (Youth and Community)
Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks
Starting salary: £51,960 per annum (plus London Weighting for London based staff)
At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for an Operations Director to join the Oasis Youth and Community national leadership team supporting local Oasis community charities across the country.
With accountability to the CEO the Operations Director will be responsible for three key areas of work:
- Lead key elements of policy and systems ensuring the Youth and Community function remains safe and compliant, and that local leaders and other key staff are effectively supported (including line management of People Services).
- Oversee the effective governance oversight for all local charities through a cycle of professional guidance and monitoring.
- Lead the national framework for monitoring and evaluation across activities.
