Headway North Staffordshire supports adults whose lives have been changed by an acquired brain injury. From helping people re-learn daily tasks, to providing access to therapies, or simply offering a place where individuals feel understood, they deliver support that often isn't available through statutory services.

Now celebrating their 40th anniversary, they are proud of the difference they make through specialist therapies (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling and speech and language therapy), tailored day services at their centre, community outreach, peer support groups, and practical advice for families. About the role

As CEO, you'll be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational delivery, and long-term sustainability of the charity. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and senior team, you'll steer Headway North Staffordshire through a changing health and social care landscape, ensuring they remain responsive, resilient, and impactful well into the future.

Your key priorities will include:

• Leading and empowering a small, committed senior team across service delivery, fundraising, operations, and administration
• Driving forward a bold and sustainable strategy for growth and impact
• Strengthening income generation and nurturing relationships with key funders
• Ensuring financial oversight, compliance, and good governance
• Championing the charity externally and building partnerships with local stakeholders, communities and the wider Headway network.

About the role

We are looking for a data engineer with experience of developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to move data between enterprise applications. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for developing ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse, linking from a variety of data sources to various targets on-prem, in cloud platforms and in Azure.

We’ll also rely on you to ensure business requirements for new data feeds or changes are understood and translated into efficient and effective technical solutions. You will transform and centralise raw data from multiple platforms into user friendly reporting data, as well as explore new ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data management across Shelter.

Writing, validating and executing test plans, troubleshooting performance issues and supporting Shelter’s wider data management initiatives – all are aspects of this interesting and varied role.

We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate Senior Team Nurse with strong clinical and leadership skills, who is committed to supporting patients with dignity, advocating for their needs, and enhancing the quality of hospice care.

The ideal Senior Team Nurse candidate will have a strong background in hospice and palliative care, with at least 3 years of specialist clinical experience and 2 years in end-of-life care leadership. They should demonstrate expertise in nurse-led care delivery,

patient assessment, and escalation. Experience in ward management and involvement in service improvement projects is also essential, highlighting both leadership and innovation in clinical settings.

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.

About Us

CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.

A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.

· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.

· Raise the profile of CAPs in the North East of England and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.

Specific duties to include the following:

o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.

o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.

o Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions.

o Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.

o Ensure that all projects carry out as a minimum a baseline (pre-CAP) evaluation and post intervention evaluation following the CAP evaluation framework and project management survey tools.

o Produce a monthly progress report on all schemes and pipeline activity.

o Attend and participate in regular CAP update meetings on Microsoft teams (x12 pa).

o Assist with event planning and profile-raising opportunities such as MP visits to CAP projects.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, police, retailers and licensing.
• Excellent organisational and sound project management skills.
• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.
• Act as an ambassador for CAP at meetings and events including parliamentary events.
• Excellent presentation and all-round communication skills.
• Capable administrator with the ability to keep accurate records including data collection around outputs and impact evaluation.

Remuneration: Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 3 days of consultancy per week. All reasonable and agreed travel expenses will be paid in line with invoice arrangements.

Join St Mungo’s as an Outreach Coordinator and lead a team dedicated to helping people move away from rough sleeping in Westminster.

The Role

You’ll oversee the daily operations of the Westminster Street Outreach Team, ensuring services are delivered effectively and in line with St Mungo’s values. You’ll manage a team of Outreach Workers, coordinate shift patterns, and ensure every client has a clear route off the streets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team through recruitment, supervision, and development.
• Coordinate outreach shifts based on rough sleeping patterns.
• Oversee client assessments, referrals, and support plans.
• Maintain accurate records using OPAL and ensure high-quality case management.
• Build strong partnerships with local agencies and advocate for clients.
• Ensure service delivery meets contractual and safeguarding standards.

Shift Pattern: Early, late, mid shifts + some weekends

We are looking for someone to join the St Mungo’s Street Outreach service; our dynamic street outreach team in Oxford who provide a rapid response service to people who are sleeping rough across Oxford City. The dedicated team works proactively as part of Oxfordshire’s Homeless Alliance to support people who are sleeping rough on the street with key healthcare, benefits, and accommodation support and advice.

• Working as an Outreach Worker you will work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person centred support, as well as working in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.
• It’s not always an easy job, but the exciting opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping is highly rewarding.

You will work on a weekly shift rota Monday – Friday including early shifts starting from around 6am and additional shifts from 9am-5pm office hours. Some weekends, bank holidays and late shifts may also be required to ensure we are available to support people experiencing homelessness when they need us the most.

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. Shout Out UK (SOUK) is a UK-based award-winning political and media literacy organisation with nearly a decade of experience in delivering impactful educational campaigns. Our mission is to defend and amplify democracy by equipping individuals with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate the complex information landscape and engage as informed, active citizens. We have a strong track record of working with educators and young people across various contexts, and we are the secretariat for the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Political and Media Literacy.

The Position:

You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to support the delivery of our educational programmes. Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes, you will be tasked with delivering programmes on Political & Media Literacy, counter-extremism, and online safety. This will involve traveling to a variety of educational settings to deliver our programmes, alongside supporting our Head of Programmes and Programme Coordinators to recruit schools and colleges. Projects can vary from media literacy workshops for schools, online harms CPD training, to city-wide democratic engagement stalls.

The applicant needs to be motivated, interested in counter-extremism, and passionate about Political & Media Literacy. The job is based on a 7-month contract, with likely extension (including a 3-month probation period).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of programmes across a diverse range of settings and cohorts.

• Recruit, coordinate and support schools and teachers across the UK to take up our programmes

• Support in updating and creating resources around the topics of Political Literacy, Media Literacy and Counter - Extremism

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, councils, 3rd sector stakeholders through our CRM system.

Skills and Experience:

For Europe's largest infrastructure project, we are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to drive accountability and focus on cost control for the Corporate Services Directorate. This is a key role measuring and reporting on financial performance and promoting effective decision-making of direct and indirect costs. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering and providing oversight, control and direction to a team of up to 4 Finance Business Partners, this role is key in ensuring the financial targets and value for money are met.

Main Duties:

• Manage, and develop the Finance Business Partner team to embed and drive a cost control and productivity focused culture across the directorate
• Lead the business case development process - reviewing and challenging funding requests to ensure they represent value for money

What you will need to succeed

You will have demonstrable and applied experience in a data analyst role and hold an appropriate qualification in a relevant subject. You will be familiar and confident in using data visualisation tools and programming languages to manipulate, analyse and present data.

A compelling communicator you will have the ability to translate complex data into easily digestible, accessible and actionable insights that can be easily understood by diverse stakeholders.
