You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.
Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.
In this role, you will provide leadership and day-to-day support to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services. You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager

Your responsibilities will include monitoring the work distribution amongst our facilities team, logging and allocating work requests, delivering day to day repairs to our properties and overseeing contractors on site. The Project Delivery & Capability Manager plays a key role in enabling the successful delivery of the ARUK’s 10-year strategy through the development and embedding of an effective, scalable and proportionate Project Management Framework.
This is not a traditional project management role. We are looking for a collaborative delivery professional who can partner with colleagues across ARUK to help teams successfully deliver strategic projects, build organisational capability and embed effective ways of working. Managing the Project Delivery team and with line management responsibility for the Senior Projects Officer, the post holder will help drive organisational project management maturity by acting as a trusted partner, advisor and expert for project and programme teams across the charity. Through coaching, consultation, training and hands-on partnering support, the role will help ensure major, cross-organisational strategic initiatives are set up for success and delivered effectively.
Operating within an evolving hub-and-spoke model, the Project Delivery and Capability Manager will work closely with leaders of large, complex and strategically significant projects and programmes, providing expertise in areas such as planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, dependency management and benefits realisation. The role will also contribute to the continuous development of project management tools, standards, training and communities of practice that improve delivery capability across the organisation.

Project Management Framework and Organisational Capability
