The PINT Syndicate, under the PINT brand umbrella, will be a new collective/band producing and performing original songs. Our Project Lead will be responsible for shaping and coordinate the launch of the band – identifying what needs to be done and who else needs to be involved to make this idea a reality. This is a new volunteer role, so we are looking for someone who can bring their knowledge of the music industry, their network and their project management experience to help develop ideas into clear, practical plans.

Detailed description
We are seeking qualified and compassionate children’s counsellors with specialisms in play therapy, art therapy, or drama therapy to volunteer their time and skills to support children navigating emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges. As a Volunteer Therapist, you will provide a safe, creative, and therapeutic environment where children can express themselves and begin to heal.
·Provide 1:1 or small group therapeutic sessions using your specialised modality (play, art, or drama).
·Build trusting relationships with children to support emotional expression and psychological wellbeing.
·Collaborate with staff and carers to ensure continuity and appropriateness of support.
·Maintain clear and confidential records of sessions and observations.
·Participate in supervision (where applicable) and team meetings.
·Support safeguarding and child protection practices in line with organisational policies.

·A recognised qualification in Play Therapy, Art Therapy, or Drama Therapy (BACP registration required)

Placement Volunteers at the British Red Cross are highly valued for the skills and energy they bring. We aim to provide our placement volunteers with an insight into the daily workings of the world’s largest humanitarian organisation. About the role:
Ready To Help is a new British Red Cross programme that provides funding and support for young people aged 15-25 to design and deliver projects that help communities become stronger, more connected and more resilient.
We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to help launch and promote the programme over a three-month placement. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a national charity whilst helping young people turn their ideas into action.
Working alongside the Ready To Help Manager, you'll help create engaging resources, promote funding opportunities and connect with organisations that can help us reach young people across the UK.
**The expected start date for the placement is October 2026 and the placement will run for 3 months, weekdays, between 4 and 8 hours each week. **

Purpose of the Role:

These activities form part of the Arrive and Thrive programme and may include cookery, wellbeing/fitness sessions, and creative workshops. The role helps girls to build confidence, develop personal and social skills, and form positive relationships while waiting for a place in formal education. By offering encouragement, guidance, and a welcoming environment, the volunteer will help participants integrate, express themselves, and explore new interests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering enrichment sessions (e.g., cookery, wellbeing/fitness) for girls. - Create engaging activities that encourage creativity, learning, and personal development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where girls feel comfortable expressing themselves, trying new skills, and building confidence.
- Support positive relationship building and teamwork among participants.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as recording attendance, activity planning, and organising materials for sessions.
