The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is a charity that represents the voice of people living with dyslexia. We aim to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.
This is an exciting role for the BDA, which has been created with the purpose of coordinating our community projects to increase awareness of dyslexia and improving outcomes for children and adults with dyslexia. The role will focus on various projects that we run, including our Local Hubs, a volunteer led project currently operating in Northern Ireland and South Wales as well as other community projects. The postholder will work with existing volunteers to form links with schools and businesses in the local areas and support outreach activities.

This is a varied hands-on role that would suit someone with experience managing community projects and working with volunteers. Hackney School of Food is an award-winning food education hub based in the grounds of Mandeville Primary School in Clapton, East London. Through our teaching kitchen and educational garden, we help children, families and communities build the skills, confidence and knowledge to grow, cook and eat good food.

We're now looking for an exceptional Managing Director to build on these strong foundations and lead Hackney School of Food through its next phase of growth and impact.
About the role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director (MD) will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the organisation delivers its mission while remaining financially resilient, well-governed and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
The Managing Director is responsible for all aspects of the organisation, including strategy, income generation, finance, governance, partnerships, programme delivery and people leadership. Working closely with a small, committed team and an engaged Board, they will build on strong foundations to grow Hackney School of Food's impact, reach and long-term sustainability.
This is a varied, hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing big-picture thinking with practical delivery. One day you may be developing a new partnership, meeting a prospective funder or working with the Board on future strategy; the next you could be supporting the team, welcoming visitors to the garden or solving day-to-day operational challenges.

Strategic Leadership
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Hackney School of Food, ensuring delivery of its mission, vision and long-term objectives.

About the role
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead our corporate partnerships and drive the income that powers our work. This is more than a corporate partnerships role—it's your opportunity to lead income generation for a growing national charity. You'll shape our fundraising strategy, influence our future business model and broaden your expertise across corporate partnerships, trusts and grant funding, and organisational growth.
Working closely with the CEO, Senior Finance Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you'll identify and secure new funding opportunities, build strategic partnerships with corporates, trusts and foundations, develop compelling funding propositions, and create sustainable income that enables more children and young people to become active citizens. This role is hands on, managing all elements of the partnership and income process, ensuring the charity builds on our existing income and works with senior leadership to develop new opporutnities.

About You

We fund and support pioneering early-career scientists around the world, giving them the tools, mentoring and Formula 1-inspired mindset to accelerate breakthroughs. Purpose of the role
Race Against Dementia is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will play a key role in managing and developing partnerships that generate income and increase global awareness of our work.
Working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will support the stewardship and growth of corporate and strategic partnerships, with an additional focus on international fundraising and partnership development. You will help identify and cultivate new opportunities across priority markets, including the USA, Switzerland and other emerging regions.
Formula 1 remains our flagship global partner, and this role will support the activation and maximisation of this and other high-profile relationships to drive fundraising and brand visibility.
