OOEF is a small, fast-growing charity and we need people to help us run it well. You can do this on-site with us — in which case you will the magic in action — or remotely, or a mixture of both. About the role
Orchestra of Everything Foundation (OOEF) delivers free, immersive music education to around 250 children aged 7–11 at two Bath primary schools in Twerton and Whiteway — nationally ranked deprived communities. Our impact is off the scale: school leaders tell us that 86% of children show improved attitudes to learning across all subjects, and we have been instrumental in a 39% reduction in pupil suspensions. Our work has caught the attention of the Department for Education, and Bath Spa University now incorporates our model into teacher training.
As an Operations & Admin Volunteer you might focus on one area or help across several, depending on your skills and availability: volunteer scheduling, communications, grant applications, impact reporting, events and partnerships. This role can be shaped entirely around you. If you want to be on-site — watching sessions, being part of the team, seeing the impact first-hand — we would love that. Volunteers who come in consistently tell us it is the most motivating thing about the work. But if remote or flexible working suits you better, that works too.

Time commitment

About The Stray Cat Charity (TSCC)
The Stray Cat Charity is a newly established UK-registered CIO working to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray cats in Greece, starting in Patras. Befriending is a simple way to make a positive difference to someone who feels alone, or is socially isolated. Meetings are regular, usually weekly or fortnightly, for at least six months although most of our volunteers stay involved for longer, only because they enjoy what they do! Phone calls can me made from any quiet space at your home or workplace.
You might visit a client in their home, or meet them in the community, chatting in coffee shops or talking while you walk - this really depends on what our client wants to do. Our clients are older Scots (60 plus) who simply want to do some of the activities that most of us take for granted.
We provide training before you start, ongoing support once you are matched, out of pocket expenses, references, social events and newsletters.
This could be an ideal opportunity gain practical experience of working with adults in a health and social care setting, or for anyonewho enjoys meeting new people and making their lives a little brighter.

Project Resilience provides easily accessible opportunities for our hostel residents to take part in a variety of social and sporting activities to boost overall health and wellbeing.
You will play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles by delivering fun, inclusive, and accessible physical activity sessions for people of all ages and abilities.
We would welcome qualified instructors from a range of activities such as:

·Circuit Classes
·Supported Gym workouts

You will :
·Plan and lead, safe, engaging fitness sessions for small groups of residents
·Adapt exercises to suit varying levels of mobility, ability, and health conditions.
·Monitor participants' safety and wellbeing during sessions.
·Encourage participation and build confidence through motivation and support.
·Log attendance and feedback as required.
·Work in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and risk assessment protocols.
Skills required:
·Recognised Fitness Qualification, Exercise Class Qualification or Sports Qualification, recognised in the UK
What we will provide:
·Access to communal garden area and nearby fields for outdoor activities
·Access to a small internal gym (bench, weights, exercise equipment)
·You will be required to undertake mandatory e-learning and a menu of optional training will be made available
·Ongoing supervision and support from your line manager

Please note, you will be required to undergo a DBS check and we will need details of 2 x referees.

Our partner is a small faith-based organisation supporting indigenous communities in Central America through integrated health, education and community care programmes.
The organisation has grown around a committed local team and is now reviewing how its finance and operations functions should be structured for the next stage of development. It currently has a Finance Manager who also holds some operational responsibilities.
The Executive Director is seeking support from an experienced finance professional to offer an external perspective on how finance and operations responsibilities could be organised in a way that protects financial controls, supports staff development, and enables the Executive Director to focus more time on fundraising and organisational leadership.

Time commitment
The assignment can be delivered entirely remotely. The anticipated commitment is up to 15 hours in total, ideally over a period of approximately 4–6 weeks, with the hope that the bulk of the work can be completed in July.
