At BMSTC our mission is "to help local people to manage the challenges of living with MS" by providing therapies designed to manage symptoms and by creating a supportive environment.
From our purpose-built Centre in Reading, 14 staff and over 100 volunteers provide services to Berkshire and neighbouring areas of Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, and Buckinghamshire and also offer some therapies remotely via Zoom.
We have also created a friendly, supportive space where members, families and carers can share information and socialise. We take pride in our reputation for having a positive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

We're looking for a Rehoming Manager to embed a culture of high performance, creativity and excellent customer service at our Rehoming centre in Shoreham. Working closely with the rest of the management team, you'll manage and support the development of our rehoming team, who work tirelessly to find forever homes for the dogs in our care.
What does this role do?
As Rehoming Manager, you will:
- promote a culture of rehoming across the whole centre team, maximising the effectiveness of interactions and their conversion to adoptions,
- lead, manage and develop the rehoming team, instilling a performance based approach, focused on meeting both objective based and customer service targets,
- collaborate with other managers to optimise kennel occupation and to ensure appropriate assessment and triage of dogs is completed,
- drive a culture of continuous improvement across all public facing activities, focusing on the development and wellbeing of colleagues and a consistently positive experience for volunteers.
Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you'll need experience of leading a small, diverse team, with particular focus on driving high performance, delivering excellent customer service and meeting targets. You'll also need some operational management experience, with the ability to make decisions swiftly and effectively, with a solution focused approach. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to have challenging conversations empathetically. Above all, you'll have a passion for rehoming dogs and the work Dogs Trust does.
This role can be either a live out or live in role, with accommodation accessed by a flight of stairs. This role includes working every third weekend and regular night duties 2-3 times per week.

This role is central to delivering Screen Share's award-winning Digital Access Programme, which refurbishes donated technology and distributes it to refugees and asylum seekers across the UK. This is a new role in the team designed to increase our capacity to support a growing client base. It is both practical and operational, involving both technology management and customer service.
The role focuses on making sure the right devices reach the right people. You will process referrals, coordinate fulfilment, and work with clients, partners and volunteers to make sure devices are delivered smoothly and any challenges are resolved with care. This requires clear and confident communication, strong organisation, and a trauma-informed, safeguarding-aware approach to working with people from many different backgrounds.
On the technical side, the post holder will support the end-to-end management of Screen Share’s IT assets. Working closely within the Operations team, this includes logging and tracking devices, maintaining accurate database records, supporting physical storage and stock control, assisting with secure data sanitisation, and preparing devices for distribution through careful packaging and postage. This element of the role ensures that all devices are handled safely, securely and in line with our operational and data protection standards.
The role sits within a busy, highly collaborative and fun Operations team, where people support one another, share knowledge freely, and work together to solve problems. You will have opportunities to learn from colleagues, contribute your own ideas and experience, and help shape how we work as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Explaining Screen Share’s referral process to individuals and partner organisations seeking support, and signposting to external services where appropriate. Sharing responsibility with the wider team for client and partner communications,
responding promptly, professionally and courteously. Support in-person device distribution at partner charities, libraries
and accommodation settings, and provide remote technical support to clients via phone and email, communicating
clearly, patiently and with care.
Data Management and Administration
Reviewing, prioritising and processing referral applications, completing digital paperwork and issuing delivery and tracking information. Capturing, updating and maintaining accurate client and device data to support day-to-day operations and impact reporting. Allocating devices based on client needs and available stock, and handling all client, partner and donor information in line with data protection policies and GDPR requirements.
Postage and Packaging
Preparing, packaging and dispatching devices and accessories securely using postal and courier services. Ensuring all equipment is packaged safely and appropriately to prevent damage in transit.
General Operations and Ad-hoc Support
Participating fully in team meetings and contributing to shared problem-solving. Supporting the refurbishment process as needed, including data sanitisation, basic diagnostics, installing operating systems and logging donated devices. Assisting with fulfilment across other programmes and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Operations team.

Newstead Road is a high support mental health service offering support to clients with long-term enduring mental health needs. Our team of 9 permanent staff support people in a trauma-informed and personalised way.
In this role you will:
- Work on a shift-based pattern (including sleep-in shifts) to support with the day to day running of the project, working closely with project workers, managers and a variety of internal and external professionals.

For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Curatorial Assistant
Permanent, Full-Time
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
You will participate in an ambitious and inclusive permanent display and exhibitions programme, and will work closely with the Senior Curator, Senior Collections Manager and other colleagues deliver the strategy for care, access and engagement for the Collections. You will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the Collections Department, creating a sense of common purpose, with an openness to innovative thinking and awareness of best practice. You will participate in the strategy for Waddesdon and the RF as a whole and the representation of the Collections within it so that learning and skills are valued and the Collections Department is recognized as an exemplar of excellence. You will work with a wide range of other departments and require good people and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:

Become familiar with the whole collection and develop interests in particular subject areas. Those that would benefit from particular focus include (but are not limited to) paintings (specifically Dutch 17th century), textiles, photographs, books, prints and drawings, sculpture and contemporary art

Undertake research and information gathering for projects and reports

Support the delivery of exhibitions, projects and permanent displays

Assist with planning of events, activities and visits by groups and individuals to the Department. Act as point of contact for these arrangements and liaise with relevant teams to deliver these activities

Schedule and support meetings of the Collections Department and assist with the preparation of agendas

Manage the distribution of incoming enquiries about the collections, passing on to relevant colleagues, taking action as appropriate and drafting some communications as required. Keep track of progress on enquiries

Support research and cataloguing campaigns and assist with inputting information onto the Collections Management system including tidying of information such as checking for duplicate records, checking for missing/inaccurate data)
You will be a great fit if:
You have a relevant Undergraduate degree, or equivalent experience and qualifiations, with a desire to expand your skills and working with varied 19th and 20th century collections. You are collaborative, engaged, and motivated, able to work both as a kay part in a small team and independently.

Horatio’s Garden creates beautiful vibrant gardens outside the starkness of NHS spinal injury centres. Places where people can begin to find connection, enjoyment and peace. We are looking for a Stories and Impact Assistant to help us share the transformative difference our work makes for people with spinal injuries, their families and NHS staff.
This new role will be responsible for how we create and maintain the best processes to manage the powerful stories from people in our gardens and the impact data we collect. You will create a new stories and impact hub to effectively support our communications and fundraising work. You will also help to organise, input, collect and create content and evidence that can be adapted for different uses.

Purpose of role
Stories and impact sit at the heart of what we do at Horatio’s Garden.
This pivotal new role will help us maximise these pillars to support the ambitious fundraising and brand growth in our five-year plan to complete gardens at all NHS spinal injury centres so we can be there for everyone who needs us.
The Stories and Impact Assistant will be responsible for how we create and manage the best processes to amplify powerful stories of people with spinal injuries, their families and NHS staff across our fundraising and communications work.
The role will create a new stories and impact evidence hub that will support how our impact and data gathering evidence is best used for funders, supporters and other key stakeholders to understand what life is like after a spinal injury and the transformative effect of our gardens.
You will have some opportunity to travel to the charity’s gardens and meet people with spinal injuries, volunteers and staff.
Funding
This is a one-year fixed term role funded by the Rank Foundation, a philanthropic organisation which encourages and develops leadership and promotes enterprise and innovation. It is part of the Rank Foundation’s Time to Shine, a leadership programme which offers a 12-month role alongside training and development opportunities. The role includes mandatory training days held by the Rank Foundation that will require travel and possible overnight stays.
It would suit someone looking to start or build their career in the communications or impact field or charity sector. The final job offer is subject to approval of the chosen candidate by the Rank Foundation.
Main duties
- Liaise with organisational teams across fundraising and communications to best understand how stories, impact data and published evidence are needed and used across the organisation.
- Design and maintain robust systems and processes to manage our complex database of stories and impact data from each of the gardens and track their use to ensure we’re making the best of their potential across our fundraising, channels and events.
- Make sure all content is accessible and adapted for different written and digital platforms.
- Comply with GDPR regulations, safeguarding and best practice (training is provided as needed) to make sure our system is safe but also supportive to individual needs.
- Help to manage the library of our digital assets like photos and videos, ensuring the team have access to the most impactful content for their needs.
- Work closely with the Senior Impact Researcher to support the organisation and management of data and scientific evidence, for example patient questionnaires and counting garden use.
- Respond to briefs from the team to gather impact reports featuring individual stories to share with internal and external stakeholders.
General duties
- Support the wider team with administrative duties that support the smooth running of the organisation.
- Actively contribute to team and all staff meetings.
Skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
- Good IT and software skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as a self-starter, using your own initiative.
- Flexible, can-do attitude, with the ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure.
- Basic digital software knowledge including design and film editing would be desirable – and we can support this with additional training.
