This is a pivotal role within Tommy’s high-performing Fundraising team, leading on the delivery of their flagship Corporate Challenge event, stewarding high-value corporate relationships, and supporting light-touch marketing and communications activity. Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Challenge & Stakeholder Stewardship
This is the largest and most strategic part of the role.
- Take the lead on managing Tommy’s annual Corporate Challenge event, engaging multiple high-profile corporate supporters.
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations, ensuring consistent, high-quality stewardship.
- Deliver tailored day-to-day stewardship, including weekly check-ins, regular updates, and bespoke supporter care.
- Work closely with internal colleagues to align stewardship activity with wider fundraising and communications strategy.
Event Delivery & Project Management
- Oversee the full delivery of the Corporate Challenge event day, coordinating logistics, timelines, suppliers, risk assessments and budgets.
- Line-manage and support Event Assistants, as well as lead on volunteer coordination for the event.
- Ensure a smooth, safe, and engaging event experience that aligns with Tommy’s values and fundraising goals.
- Track event performance and contribute to post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
Marketing & Communications (Supporting Element)
- Provide light-touch support on marketing activity, including content drafting and communications planning.
- Produce compelling stewardship materials, thank-you messages, and impact updates.

Person Specification

Role Responsibilities

Research:
· To direct the work of the shared Partnerships Assistant in researching, identifying, and maximising the potential of new corporate prospects using information held within the supporter databases as well as external sources such as LinkedIn, and business press.
Relationship building:
· Ensure all corporate relationships receive exceptional stewardship and that appropriate cultivation plans are developed, maintained and implemented – in particular, quality and timely reporting of impact achieved against funding provided.
· Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within current and potential corporate partners to embed the organisation as a charity with a strong reputation for meeting the needs of corporate supporters.
· Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view the impact of their funding first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.

At Northampton Students’ Union, our Sports Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enriching the student experience through sport. By overseeing over 35 free-to-join sports clubs, they ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students, regardless of background or ability. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

We’re now looking for a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser to join our senior team and shape a new phase of growth. As our first Head of Fundraising, you’ll play a vital role in transforming strong but reactive income streams into a thriving, sustainable programme that enables us to support more people, more effectively.
We have an engaged and generous supporter base, particularly among individuals, churches and other groups across Greater Manchester. Trusts and Foundations fundraising is also well established, with an experienced team member already in post. This new role will focus on strengthening and growing Individual Giving and Church/Community partnerships, both areas with significant potential. You’ll bring vision and strategy to supporter journeys, deepen engagement and stewardship, and explore opportunities in areas like Corporate Giving and Legacy fundraising.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and contributing to our wider organisational development. You’ll line manage our Senior Fundraising Officer, with the potential to expand the team as income grows. You’ll also work closely with our Advocacy and Communications Team to ensure supporter communications reflect our values and amplify our impact.
We’re looking for someone with experience in Individual Giving and relationship fundraising, who understands the power of storytelling, data, and connection. You’ll be a collaborative and empathetic leader, able to build trust with colleagues and inspire supporters. Head of Funding and Green Finance - Western Forest
This is a rare, unique and exciting opportunity to take a lead role in developing the programme and setting the strategic path for the Western Forest – the first new national forest in over 30 years.
The Western Forest is a brand-new programme launched, with national and Ministerial profile, in March 2025. The Forest will support over 2.5 million people, cultivating a greener, more connected future by creating a landscape with trees and woodlands at its heart. The Western Forest will deliver landscape scale change and real green investment, connecting people and nature across three regions – Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the West of England (including North Somerset).
The Western Forest’s Head of Funding and Green Finance will drive, direct and manage the delivery of a diverse range of funding sources to deliver the new national forest. They will ensure the development of sustainable income streams and models of delivery by 2030. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Western Forest’s fundraising strategy to generate £13mn or more in additional income over the next five years to ensure effective long-term delivery of our strategic plan.
Reporting directly to the Western Forest Director, the Head of Funding and Green Finance plays a key role, helping to set the direction for the Western Forest.

About the role
Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.
