Job Summary

Planning and Management:
- Provide strong leadership and direct line management to the International Fundraising and Marketing team to sustain, develop and grow fundraising, marketing and other initiatives to maximise income and build engagement and brand loyalty from new and existing supporters.
- Develop and manage the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications strategy and associated plans to meet ambitious targets.
- Prepare and present reports on progress, income and expenditure to the International CEO and the International Board.
- Be aware of current legislations, technologies and trends that will benefit the charity.
- Close monitoring of international fundraising income across all sources, and managing the international fundraising and marketing departmental budgets.
- Procure and manage external suppliers and third parties.
- Ongoing risk management and mitigation, escalating risks to the International CEO where appropriate.
Brand and Marketing:
- Develop and lead on the marketing and communications strategies to expand Soi Dog’s reach and increase global awareness and engagement amongst our target audiences with a multi-channel approach.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and brand across all content including social media, digital and press releases.
- Continue to develop the strategy to proactively secure international press and PR opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Co-ordinate an integrated cross-departmental approach with Visual Creative Director and other teams including, Adoptions, Thai Fundraising and external contractors.
Fundraising:
- Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives, in collaboration with the Senior Management Team and colleagues, to generate additional revenue streams, and grow existing, for the charity.
- Continuously review and seek new major giving opportunities across philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations and corporate partnerships.
- Ensure the team submits robust and timely applications for grants, and provide excellent ongoing stewardship including thanking and impact reports.
- Execute innovative and creative targeted digital fundraising campaigns across various social media platforms to drive donations.
- Oversee all fundraising activity and be the point of sign off for all communications and outgoing campaigns.
- Cultivate existing relationships with long-standing supporters to maintain stability in regular giving.
- Expand networks and maintaining regular communication with philanthropists, major gift donors, and prospects to establish strong relationships and negotiate ongoing opportunities for support and partnerships.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors to optimise return on investment.
- Ensure accurate and timely income projections and reports, fostering a culture of performance and ambition.
- Keep up to date and comply with current Fundraising legislation and standards of each country and/or regions.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising and marketing role, with a track record of meeting substantial targets and managing multi-million-dollar income and expenditure budgets.
- Outstanding and demonstrable track record of developing and successfully implementing fundraising strategies across a broad range of income streams.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of marketing and communication strategy and implementation.
- Substantial experience of developing individual giving and philanthropy programmes, specifically through digital channels, to drive growth, engagement and long-term value.
- Extensive networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic, proactive and ambitious thinker with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, lead on initiatives and engage and build loyalty with stakeholders and supporters.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Fundraising Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Income and Partnerships Development team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, business administration, or a related field.
Candidates without a degree will be considered if they have at least 2 years relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

What we’re looking for in our ideal Head of Public Affairs and Advocacy:
- Experience in public affairs, developing and implementing impactful external affairs strategies
- Experience of influencing public policy and/or parliamentary business
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or similar ability gained through work experience relevant to the role
- Excellent understanding of local and national government, political and legislative processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a proven ability to write confidently and concisely for a variety of audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders including members, partners and officials
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media and media monitoring tools

The post-holder will have ongoing responsibility for developing and co-ordinating an ambitious individual giving programme accross all channels. The role will lead on the implementation of fundraising products to engage new audiences and appeal to existing supporters. Helping to drive and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy to transform the lives of millions of people living with neurological and neuromuscular conditions, the Individual Giving Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the end-to-end experience of new and existing supporters.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the post holder will work closely with colleagues accross the team to create, test, monitor and evaluate campaigns and to ensure that supporters have a positive experience of the charity. The post-holder will plan and develop ongoing acquisition and stewardship campaigns as well as playing an important role in a major capital appeal. Job purpose
- To represent Yes to Life work, vision, and mission through the delivery of campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
- To work across the different fundraising channels (Community, Fundraising Events, and Individual Giving) to deliver the agreed financial targets.
- To build relationships with donors and fundraisers and offer stewardship that offers the best possible experience of supporting Yes to Life, increasing loyalty and further support.
- To attend fundraising events as required
- To work with the CEO and the rest of the Yes to Life team to develop new and imaginative fundraising activities using sector trends and insights.
Key responsibilities
- Work within agreed budgets to achieve the fundraising financial targets.
- To steward our fundraising supporters to maintain engagement and build loyalty.
- To provide a highly personalised approach to supporting Yes to Life’s fundraisers ensuring our supporters receive a positive experience throughout their fundraising activity including sending thank you communications and ongoing stewardship.
- To organise and deliver a calendar of fundraising activities that creates opportunities for supporters to engage with our 20th Anniversary Year celebrations and ensure participation and income targets are achieved.
- To develop the charity’s social media fundraising activity in collaboration with the Social Media Manager
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and the Marketing and Comms Trustee, to help plan and develop multi-channel campaigns including on and offline activity that inspire and engage existing and new supporters.
- To work with the CEO and the Marketing and Comms Trustee to produce campaign materials, share interesting stories and fundraising updates. Prepare content for newsletters, website, and social media.
- To ensure accurate recording of supporter information and reporting on activity through:
- Updating the charity’s database, e-tapestry, recording all donor contact and fundraising activity.
- To prepare regular income reports and updates as required.
- To keep up- to- date and comply with the rules as set by the Fundraising Regulator, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good practice.
- To keep up to date with changes and trends in the UK fundraising environment
- To undertake any other tasks required.

This role is within the IDS Communications and Engagement Team (CET) which exists to build awareness, consideration and engagement with the institute, its research, publications, and partnerships.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Support Officer to support the development, implementation and evaluation of multichannel marketing campaigns, which include PPC and paid LinkedIn advertising, to promote IDS’s professional development learning offer.
Applicants will take an analytical and evidence-based approach to their work, being well versed in tools such as GA4, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager. Experience in using content management systems and creating engaging, search engine optimised content is essential.
