ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Internal Auditor to join our high performing Risk and Compliance team as a Senior Auditor.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Being accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of audits to time and budget whilst managing conflicting priorities.
- Planning, undertaking and reporting on audits across the Federation’s Head Office and 55 academies.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting on the risks arising from areas under review.
- To complete follow up exercises on previously agreed recommendations.
- Providing assistance to the Internal Audit Manager in, or leading on, ad hoc audit work, projects and investigations.
- Deputising for the Internal Audit Manager, including at Audit and Risk Committee as required.
- To contribute to the annual planning cycle.
- To produce statistical data for inclusion in termly and annual reports.
- To seek and build professional relationships with key stakeholders across the Federation including at academy sites.
- To contribute to service improvement and the development of the Internal Audit function.

Summary
Introduction
Working within the Central Secretariat, the Safeguarding Structures Programme Director will lead a programme team to implement the new independent structures for the Church of England's safeguarding function.
About the Department
The Central Secretariat provides support to many of the governance bodies of the Church of England, including the General Synod, House of Bishops, Archbishops' Council and others. It also provides policy analysis and support on internal matters relating to the structure and governance of the Church of England.
What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to deliver the General Synod's motion of February 2025 to design, develop and deliver independent scrutiny of Church safeguarding and such operations as the Synod decides. It needs to do so in a way that brings stakeholders - victims and survivors, safeguarding staff across the Church, trustees and others - along with them, with a focus on delivering a system of safeguarding that commands greater confidence. And it needs to do so working through an executive chair and lead bishop.
You will lead a programme team that is in the process of being formed, and you'll report to the Director of the Central Secretariat, whilst also working through an Executive Chair (currently being recruited), the lead bishop for safeguarding and a Programme Board, and maintaining the confidence of the wider Church of England, including the General Synod, the House of Bishops and others.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the programme team to deliver an ambitious programme of policy development, legislation, restructure and new service development, being accountable for ensuring the programme meets objectives , delivers outcomes and realises benefits
- Support the Executive Chair and lead bishop to deliver the mandate of General Synod (February 2025) regarding the future of Church of England safeguarding - maintaining their confidence and engagement at all times, building a relationship of trust and collaboration.
- Lead the team to deliver the change:
- Design the change - agreeing the new models for scrutiny/complaints and operations
- Secure buy-in to the change - including from governance bodies, the General Synod, and other stakeholders
- Execute the change through a mixture of legislative, contractual and other arrangements; and
- Embed the change - through the communications, engagement, planning etc that will enable the programme to deliver the benefits
- Maintain excellent programme governance - both ensuring the programme is well-run, with appropriate internal governance (plans, resource management, risk management) and reports effectively to the Programme Board, and to governance bodies
- Develop excellent engagement with safeguarding staff and leaders across the Church
- Ensure that the proposals are designed from the user perspective - with a particular focus on victims, survivors and parish safeguarding officers
- Lead, support, encourage and manage, the programme team of approximately 6-8 people
- Develop key messaging and strategic engagement , overseeing internal and external engagement
- Equip and enable the lead bishop and Executive Chair to be effective senior sponsors and externally facing change champions, ensuring that they are fully briefed on all developments and properly supported prepared for their meetings.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have substantial experience of delivering complex organisational change programmes, along with a strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice. You'll need to be confident in leading substantial change programmes that are subject to intense public scrutiny. You will be values-led, promoting integrity and transparency in all aspects of your work in order to build and maintain the trust and confidence of a broad range of stakeholders.
Along with a recognised Programme Management accreditation (e.g. APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent), you will also need to demonstrate:
- The ability to create the vision and a sense of the destination, and also to engage in the precise details of what needs to happen to deliver it;
- A track record of engaging with people who are impacted by substantial change;
- Ability and experience of working collaboratively with a programme team and wider stakeholders to achieve success
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders to deliver, and capacity to work with an Executive Chair and lead bishop or similar.
- A salary of 82,157 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any salary-sacrifice pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
- 30 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.

About the opportunity
As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across multiple social impact projects. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is the Single Homelessness Prevention Service (SHPS) which is a programme that prevents the next generation of rough sleepers.
The programme supports people to sustain an existing tenancy by negotiating with landlords/ family members, or providing coaching to empower people to do so. Where needed, we help them to find and secure a new home, typically in the private rented sector. SHPS services also seek to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness by preventing the escalation of the homelessness journey to crisis point.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.
· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
· Manage all Power BI reporting tables and system with support from central teams.
· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.
· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.
· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,
· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.
· Work with system developer to manage system changes and improvements.
· Lead the set-up of a new database and associated new contract mobilisation activities.
· Provide research and data to support the development of new interventions.
· Produce monthly board packs for programmes and provide minutes of meetings.

The Role
We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.
Key Functional Areas
- Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
- Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
- Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Research
1. Collaborate with external research contractors to deliver the regular ‘Voice of the Tenant’ and ‘Voice of the Landlord’ Survey.
2. Ensure the research findings are widely disseminated through different channels, including events, publications, briefings and digital content.
3. Help identify research gaps and contribute to the development execution of new research projects or commissioning of external research.
4. Conduct proactive desk-based research to identify emerging trends, new policy developments, and partnership opportunities relevant to the Foundation and the sector.
5. Undertake in-house research activities, such as literature reviews, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, where required.

We’re on the lookout for a new Director of Policy and Public Affairs, to protect and advance equality and human rights in the UK, by increasing our policy impact and working collaboratively to harness the power of our network.
The Director of Policy and Public Affairs will play an important role in protecting and advancing equality and human rights in the UK. This role will focus on growing our policy and public affairs capacity so that we can achieve the goals set out in Together for Social Justice, our 10-year strategy.
You’ll develop and deliver high-impact policy influencing strategies on our three big issues of law, climate and investment. This will mean working on vital public policy issues such as embedding equality and human rights in the government’s mission-driven approach, ensuring a strong legal framework of rights protections, improving public awareness of the value of human rights, and creating a work programme to ensure that people’s whose rights are most at risk can lead policy development on climate breakdown.
You’ll have a strong track record of creating innovative policy solutions that influence public policy and secure social change; the ability to forge and nurture constructive dialogue and working relationships across the political spectrum and within civil society, and a deep understanding of how to increase racial justice at systemic level. You’ll be confident communicating complex legal and technical issues in an engaging way that brings their practical impacts to life for a wide range of audiences, including the media. You’ll be skilled at bringing people together and working collaboratively.

The Events and Community Manager for our Mass Fundraising Team will focus and lead on:
1. New product development and innovation
2. Creating marketing plans to inspire and motive supporters to engage with RNID
3. Ensuring all RNID events and community supporters are receiving exceptional stewardship
You will be responsible for managing the events and community portfolio at RNID, constantly reviewing and optimising products whilst thinking of new ways to attract supporters to our cause.
You will:
1. Work with the Head of Mass Fundraising to develop and deliver the events and community fundraising strategy, and to budget and report on income and expenditure
2. Lead on the delivery of our third-party challenge events
3. Lead on new product development for events and community products
4. To proactively engage, source, secure and manage community fundraising relationships with local groups, clubs, organisations, school and individuals
5. To work with colleagues across RNID to maximise fundraising opportunities in the community
You will be an experienced events and community fundraiser with the ability to motivate and inspire supporters to fundraise for RNID. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all events and community products.
You will have a natural ability to build excellent relationships especially with supporters, colleagues and suppliers. You’ll be a strong team player who is comfortable leading projects, ensuring clear and regular communication with project team members.
You will be responsible for managing the events and community income budget of £250k, which has ambitious plans for the next five years. You will put forward business cases to test and trial new products to add to our portfolio. You’ll work closely with the Marcomms team on marketing plans and with the Mass Fundraising Officer to implement multi-channel stewardship plans for our events and community supporters.
