Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some who have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people’s lives, and we couldn’t do this without the important work of the Head of Assessment & Quality!

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who wants to see their work make a real difference. You will take projects from initial idea through to delivery—gathering evidence, building trusted relationships and turning what you hear into clear findings, practical recommendations and compelling reports.
Co-production and co-design will be at the heart of your work. You will work alongside residents, people with lived experience and community partners from the outset, ensuring they have a meaningful role in shaping project questions, research methods, activities, materials, findings and recommendations.
We are interested in what you can do—not simply where you gained your experience. You might be an experienced project or social research professional, a postgraduate student ready to apply your skills in a practical setting, or someone whose expertise has developed through community leadership, voluntary work or lived experience. What matters is that you are curious, organised and proactive, can build trust with people from different backgrounds, and have the drive to turn ideas into well-managed projects that create change.
We are the independent champion for people who use publicly funded health and social care services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
