About the role
We are looking for a Senior Campaigns and Digital Engagement Officer to bridge the gap between our work and the general public. You will be the engine that converts our legal wins and policy change ambitions into a public movement, mobilising our supporters to show up, speak up, and financially support our mission.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to sit within a high-performing team working to raise awareness of SSAFA’s support in the South West Region of England to those in the Armed Forces Community who need it most.
With the ultimate objective being to grow SSAFA’s presence, profile, and identity, the role is responsible for all marcomms activation in the region. The role holder will work to deliver the central Fundraising, Marketing & Communications strategy.
This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the South West Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services. You’ll identify the areas of greatest impact and cut through, deliver integrated awareness campaigns and secure media coverage of fundraising events. About the team
The Communications team is a small but dynamic group of individuals with strong skillsets across Public Relations, Storytelling (case studies) and Internal Communications. The team is a mix of ex-forces and civilians, and they are always sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.
You will work closely across all directorates within SSAFA, with a focus in South West, to garner information and create compelling marcomms campaigns and activities to raise awareness of SSAFA’s work.
About you
You will be a highly motivated and creative communicator with a proven track record of delivering impactful PR and marketing campaigns. As a natural storyteller with strong media instincts, you will excel at securing high-profile coverage and elevating our brand presence. You will be a confident relationship builder, skilled at engaging stakeholders across the region, from media contacts to volunteers and case study beneficiaries. This role is intended to facilitate and coordinate involvement in FoCUS by promoting the network and encouraging people who use the Trust’s services and carers to join and participate in user involvement activities, and raise themes heard from member experiences to the Trust for discussion.
Main Responsibilities
Promotion of FoCUS
· Encourage and enable people with experience of mental health services and carers to join FoCUS and to influence SABP’s services.
· Increase awareness of the benefits of user involvement and representation in building people’s confidence, sense of worth and self-esteem and in helping people to achieve greater social inclusion.
· Promote FoCUS to people who use SABP’s services and carers, across Surrey and Northeast Hampshire. Using a variety of communication and engagement methods including attending relevant outreach and community events with an exhibition stand or promotional materials.
· Increase the number of service users and carers joining as FoCUS members.
· Develop and maintain personal contacts within SABP’s services in Surrey and Northeast Hampshire to promote FoCUS to their clients, and encourage key staff to attend Community Group meetings.
· Liaise with other services including Community Mental Health Recovery Services, Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and other public services and voluntary sector providers to promote FoCUS and encourage them to promote FoCUS membership to their clients.
Management of the Network
· Contact new FoCUS members to ensure their support and access needs are met and to encourage them to attend their local Community Group meetings.
· Work with LF Solutions to maintain and manage network enquiries, new members, meeting planning and delivery of the activities of the forum.
· Act as main contact for service users, carers and professionals for the FoCUS network. Manage inbox and all enquiries.
· Chair the meetings of the forum to ensure the smooth running of meetings and enable everyone to contribute in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
· Encourage members to attend FoCUS meetings and drop in’s to share recent service experiences.
· Produce a quarterly mental health Newsletter to promote outcomes achieved, manage the social media accounts for FoCUS.
Reporting
· Maintain accurate records. Keeping confidential member information up to date, undertaking data cleanses, recording meeting attendance and topics of discussion. Track activity and outcomes data for reporting purposes.
· Provide a quarterly report on activities and membership to SABP.
Development of volunteer FoCUS Representatives
· Encourage FoCUS members to put themselves forward to become a volunteer FoCUS Representative, explaining the nature and commitment of the role.
· Work with FoCUS Representatives on plans for engagement in their Areas and to agree their individual level of involvement in promoting FoCUS. Help them prepare their respective contributions to their Community Group meetings.
· Organise and attend a quarterly meeting of the FoCUS Representatives to prepare contributions to FoCUS Committee meetings, and provide support as required.
· Identify any training needs of FoCUS members and Representatives, to empower them to fulfil their potential and build personal skills and confidence to have their say.
General Duties
· Encourage existing and new FoCUS members to also join Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and the Independent Mental Health Network, offering opportunities for involvement in other issues affecting their lives.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Outreach Advisor to join our Central England Team. This 18-month fixed-term role offers an exciting opportunity to play a leading part in the successful delivery of the Woodland Trust’s MOREwoods and MOREhedges programmes. The successful postholder will provide expert advice on woodland creation across the region, helping to shape and grow a diverse portfolio of impactful projects.

The Role:
- Provide expert advice to farmers, land managers and landowners on farmland management, habitat creation, woodland establishment and agroforestry integration.
- Deliver woodland creation and management projects end-to-end, including on-the-ground implementation and technical support.
- Develop and deliver landscape-scale conservation projects in collaboration with farmers, landowners, businesses, local authorities and partner organisations.
- Secure and manage funding through agri-environment and woodland grant schemes (e.g. EWCO, MOREwoods and other external funding streams).
- Lead delivery of the MOREwoods scheme, guiding landowners through planning, application, planting and establishment phases.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, representing the Woodland Trust professionally across a diverse range of audiences.

The Candidate:
- Experience working directly with farmers and landowners, building effective and trusted relationships across a range of farming systems.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations & Programmes Support Officer to play a vital role in the smooth running of our small charity strengthening London’s communities. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both programme delivery and day-to-day operations. You will bring strong attention to detail, a conscientious approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Operations and Programme Support role will be instrumental in supporting our small team to continue to grow our services to support charitable organisations across London while consistently maintaining and improving the quality of our service.
Responsibilities:
Operations support
- Maintain and improve key systems and processes, including CRM data, mailing lists, and shared platforms like SharePoint
- Manage shared inboxes, internal communications, meetings, and day-to-day team coordination
- Provide wider operational support, including managing equipment and systems, basic troubleshooting, data protection, and staff coordination (e.g. meetings, holidays)
Programme and Communications support
- Working closely with the Events Manager, coordinate event delivery, including promotion, registrations, attendee communications, and on-the-day support for 10 online Lunch & Learn events, 2 in-person workshops and 2 community events a year.
- Support event logistics (venues, catering) and ensure all data, feedback and learnings are captured and recorded in our CRM
- Assist with website updates, weekly social media activity, and community engagement and track monthly performance across channels
- Support and maintain impact metrics and participant feedback across all activities

The 999 Club is a small charity doing big things with local people facing homelessness. For over 30 years we’ve been in the heart of Deptford providing warm welcomes and wraparound services ensuring those who need us are given the best chance of leaving homelessness behind for good.
Our Gateway Drop-In Centre offers nutritious meals, laundry and medical facilities, showers, IT access, phone charging , a safe space to rest and a dedicated Women’s Sanctuary.
When members feel ready, our team of expert staff are on hand to support them into suitable accommodation where possible, secure income via paid work or benefits, and provide immigration signposting for those who need it. Once housed, our Move+ programme continues to work with them to ensure they settle into new accommodation with the knowledge, skills, community and hope required to thrive in their new life.
We also run The Bridge, a free six-week evening mental health course open to anyone in the community experiencing mental distress. The programme provides a practical toolkit to support long-term mental wellbeing.
JOB OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
This role will play a vital role in advancing 999 Club’s ambitious plans to enhance its status, reputation, and support among both existing and wider audiences. At this pivotal moment in the charity’s history, the postholder will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Members’ Committee to co-develop and implement a bold new communications and marketing strategy.
Building on a recent organisational rebrand, this role will ensure that the voices of those with lived experience remain central to the organisation’s messaging and identity. A key focus will be strengthening internal and external communication, uniting our diverse membership—which includes staff, clients, volunteers, trustees, and supporters—while also reaching new audiences through social media, direct marketing, PR, and media outreach.
A major priority will be the relaunch and expansion of the 999 Club’s Membership Scheme and Champions Programme, designed to deepen awareness and support for 999 Club across Southeast London and beyond. Underpinning these efforts, the postholder will manage the Donorfy CRM database and ensure the ongoing maintenance and development of our WordPress website.

Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage the DUK project portfolio
- Become a subject matter expert in applied and translational research in DMD, allowing informed decision making and effective communication with key stakeholders
- Support identification of new project and collaborative opportunities, including the ongoing management and delivery of our applicant-led funding call
- Support the Director of Research and Development in project scientific review, working with the Scientific Advisory Board, Patient Advisory Board, Senior Leadership Team and DUK Board of Trustees
- Manage project development and initiation, including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones, and budgets
- Manage and oversee project delivery, including monitoring of progress, according to agreed timelines and deliverables (including written updates and formal reports), and managing project finances, including reviewing and approval of invoices and monitoring project expenditure
- Support research budget forecasting in liaison with the finance team and the Director of Research and Development, and ensure compliance across the project portfolio
- Build and manage relationships with external partners and maintain regular communication through the project life cycle

- Working with DUK comms team, support the development of external comms and marketing

The NCJAA aims to ensure that the arts are used within the criminal justice system as a springboard for positive change. The NCJAA represents a network of over 500 individuals and organisations that deliver creative interventions to support people in prison, on probation and in the community, with impressive results. We support this transformative work by providing a network and a voice to promote access to arts and culture for people in the criminal justice system, as a springboard to positive change.

Job purpose
To develop and grow the NCJAA network and develop and maintain effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Job summary
The coordinator is responsible for overseeing all work and development of the NCJAA and sits within Clinks’ National Influencing & Networks directorate . The coordinator will work with a range of different stakeholders, including the NCJAA Advisory Group and the wider membership, to improve policy and practice in relation to arts-based work with people in prison, on probation and in the community. This includes maintaining and strengthening the NCJAA as the leading national network for arts organisations and individuals that work in the criminal justice system.
Reports to: Clinks Director of National Influencing & Networks
1. Duties and key responsibilities
Strategy and planning
· Work closely with Clinks colleagues and the NCJAA network to develop and deliver the NCJAA annual work plan which include a range of activities that will raise the profile and promote the work of the arts sector in the CJS, including events, publications, training, mentoring, research and networking opportunities
· Work closely with Clinks colleagues, the NCJAA advisory group, chair and wider network to help inform and shape the future direction of the NCJAA and its strategic goals, paying particular attention to its role, sustainability and emerging opportunities
· Coordinate the quarterly arts forum in collaboration with the Reducing Reoffending Third Sector Advisory Group (RR3) arts seat holder and government representatives
NCJAA project management & delivery
· Provide leadership for the NCJAA in the arts and CJS sectors
· Deliver the projects set out in the NCJAA’s annual workplan
· Coordinate the functioning of the advisory group of the NCJAA, including its quarterly meetings, minutes and election

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting a Communications Lead to join Working Well Trust. This is a 35-hour per week role, Monday to Friday, based at our Bethnal Green office with travel to other offices and boroughs when required. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days on site per week. Occasional evening work may be required.
This role will lead and deliver Working Well Trust’s communications activity across digital, print and internal channels, ensuring that our content is engaging, accessible, timely and aligned with organisational aims, service requirements and brand standards. The postholder will also support contract mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and effective internal communication across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with strong communications, digital content, copywriting and design skills, who can bring creativity, structure and initiative to a growing mental health and employment charity. You will work closely with the CEO, Operations Director, HR Advisor, service teams, clients and external stakeholders to ensure our communications reflect our values, services and impact.
Experience of working in the voluntary sector, mental health, employment support, disability or neurodiversity would be beneficial, but above all, we are looking for someone who is committed to Working Well Trust’s aims and able to communicate our work clearly, sensitively and creatively.
What you’ll be doing
- You will plan, write and schedule engaging content across Working Well Trust’s social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, ensuring posts are timely, accessible and aligned with our organisational aims and, where appropriate, the funding requirements of individual services.

At Bexley Voluntary Services Council (BVSC), we’re passionate about strengthening our local voluntary and community sector to make a real difference.
As Welcome Team Leader you will work as part of the Engagement team, leading a team of Welcome Hosts to provide a warm welcome and overall excellent visitor experience at Southwark Cathedral. Acting as a central point of contact, you will lead, support and develop the Welcome Team to deliver a friendly and engaging visit and ensure a high standard of customer service. You will work closely with the Head of Engagement to support the development of the Welcome Team through training and support, organise rotas and ensure adequate cover of all positions, and support the overall goal to increase visitor numbers, donations and visitor engagement.
If you have experience in:
- Managing a team, supervision and team training
- Working within a heritage, public engagement or visitor attraction setting
- Dealing with customer feedback or complaints

- A skilled and engaging communicator

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as main point of contact with Welcome Team acting for daily visitor engagement operations, liaising with other onsite teams, including Vergers, Retail, Property and Enterprise;
- Line manage the paid Welcome Team, ensuring a high standard of welcome and visitor service is provided;
- Carry out regular walk rounds of the site to support Welcome Team members, collaborate and provide feedback and ensure standards are consistently met;
- Cover Welcome Team positions as an when required, providing a welcoming, friendly and engaging visitor experience to all visitors to the Cathedral;
- Organise monthly rotas for the Welcome Team to ensure all days are adequately staffed, managing annual leave, sickness and overtime requests;
- Work alongside the Head of Engagement to develop and maintain training sessions and ensure mandatory training is up to date;
- Attend weekly Cathedral Diary meetings and manage daily service sheets and promotional materials;
- Handle complaints procedure and any difficult customers;
- Manage the recording of daily visitor numbers and donation figures;
- Take the lead on card payments for on the day ticket sales for public and group tours, and other engagement events;
- Attend the Health and Safety Committee and ensure the Welcome Team are confident and compliant with all health, safety, security and safeguarding policies and procedures;
- Take an active role in providing visitors with information about the Cathedral and its history, upcoming events, donation points, services and more;
- Communicate with pre-booked and un-booked tour groups requiring access to the Cathedral;
- Refer any visitor in need of pastoral care to the Day Chaplain or clergy;
- Encourage visitors to donate to the Cathedral through the various platforms available in the Cathedral and online and to encourage those making a donation to Gift Aid it should they be eligible to do so;
- Direct visitors to the Cathedral Shop and Café encouraging secondary spend;
- Promote the sale of information products such as the Visitor Map and Guidebook;
