At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £5m to keep our doors open and only around 20% of our income comes from government sources? The rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team support these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.
The role:
In your role as Regional Fundraising Manager, you will lead and develop a team of 7 to raise invaluable funds and brand awareness of the hospice. Working with the Income Generation and Communications Director you will work towards a devised strategy for fundraising across key income streams including Events, Corporate and Community. You will plan an annual fundraising calendar of activity and campaigns and work to agreed KPIs and objectives to build a resilient and robust income plan, managing and supporting your team to achieve these objectives. Taking the lead for corporate engagement you will both develop new relationships and nurture existing supporters.
As part of your role as a manager you will be a strong advocate in teaching and demonstrating Bluebell Wood’s culture to your staff and those around you, embedding the vision of the hospice in everyone who works with us. You will play a leading role in the organisation’s strategy implementation, giving real focus to how your team plays a part in this, whilst enthusing your team to be the best version of themselves, empowering people to succeed at their role.
This role is full-time and permanent and comes with a range of excellent benefits including 33 days annual leave. This role is based at the hospice is based in Sheffield and the charity will offer a blend of office/home/remote working.
The requirements:
To be considered for this role you will ideally come to us with broad fundraising experience across all areas of Fundraising particularly Corporate, Community and Events. You should be a confident, experienced line manager with experience operating at a senior strategic level. As an individual you will bring resilience, agility, empathy, drive, creativity and most importantly stability. We hope to see strong knowledge of fundraising codes of practice, fundraising trends and sector legalities. Role Purpose

As Grants and Commissioning Manager you will use your experience and skills to identify and lead approaches to trusts, foundations, company foundations, statutory and other organisations securing funding from £5k-£800K+. Specific Responsibilities
· Lead on delivering key areas of the Grants and Commissioning strategy and operational plan to establish a strong and sustainable funding base and support our growth ambition by delivering income targets year on year.
· To write compelling applications/bids, cases for support and reports, working in collaboration with the Finance Manager, Family Services Manager and Systems and Information Officer and tailoring the information for the audience, ensuring submission within required deadlines.
· Develop first class relationships with the portfolio of existing and new trust funders, commissioning partners, delivering the highest levels of donor care, by always providing excellent stewardship and ensuring all reporting requirements are fully met.
· Lead on horizon scanning for trust funders, creating a prospecting programme for new opportunities to grow the portfolio. Utilising existing networks, specialist funding sites and referrals.

· Maintain and develop Home-Start Essex’s case for support templates and support materials, liaising closely with the senior management team and marketing team and adhering to brand guidelines and key messaging.
· Manage the grant/trust fundraising programme via Beacon CRM, developing account management and stewardship activities and maintaining detailed records of all communications.
· Ensure that successful bids/tenders and grant/trust applications are handed over to the Family Services Manager and Area Lead Co-ordinators with clear milestones, outputs, outcomes and evaluation/reporting requirements via Implementation meetings.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.

· To help at fundraising events from time to time.

Purpose of the role:
To support the Development and Fundraising function of the Trust, developing long term relationships and maximising income. The Head of Development will work alongside the Development Director and other staff to implement our Development Strategy, increasing income from Trusts and Foundations, Major Donors and Individual Givers and other sources.
Key responsibilities:
Relationship Development
· Nurture and develop relationships with existing donors, contributing to the collection of monitoring information ensuring continued support and engagement.
· To manage a portfolio of current and potential supporters to maintain, grow and/or revive their support for the Fellowship, implementing strategies for donor cultivation and stewardship.
Funding and partnership proposals
· To use research tools to identify and research Individual, Trust and Major Donor opportunities.

To support Habitat for Humanity GB’s (HFHGB) vision of a decent home for everyone, the Director of Development is accountable for leading the development, implementation and performance monitoring of our partnerships, resource mobilisation, communication, and engagement strategies. Main Responsibilities
1.Strategic development and leadership:
· Design, deliver and evaluate/adapt the partnerships and fundraising strategy, setting ambitious and achievable targets to increase impact, through growing income, mobilising other resources and increasing engagement for HFHGB.

The function of this role is to work with the Head of Development to devise and implement a programme of successful alumni events and fundraising for The Glasgow Academy.
Alumni Engagement: The focus is to build positive relationships with all members of the school and wider communities, including that of the former Westbourne School for Girls. The postholder will help to deliver The Academy’s alumni engagement strategy and volunteer programme, including various events, reunions and the like, with the aim of providing a pipeline of engaged individuals willing to support the School through their time, expertise, connections and philanthropy.
Development Manager: The post holder will coordinate and support the systems and procedures underpinning the cultivation and solicitation of donors; manage a series of 1-2-1 meeting with and small cultivation events for donors/prospects and prepare appropriate communications to support the same.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, this exciting role will ideally appeal to someone who may already have some experience of fundraising, who is passionate about higher education and wishes to advance their skills in a highly successful college development and alumni relations office. The post is varied but in general the appointee will assist the overall purpose of the office of fostering and deepening relationships between the Hall and its alumni and in securing financial support from those alumni. This role will focus on regular giving and wider fundraising support, whilst there will also be the opportunity to take the lead on some more general projects and responsibilities. The Development Office can be a busy and demanding environment at times as the team work to engage the College community to capitalise on our philanthropic potential and successfully complete the current HALLmarks campaign in line with our ten-year strategic plan.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) usually 09:00 to 17:00 (some flexibility is negotiable in regard to the start and finish time). The role is based in the centre of Oxford but we can offer the possibility of working one day per week at home if you wish so please get in touch to discuss.

About the role
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an
exemplary role model.
As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.
About you
- You will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered Manager
- You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.

- You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or hold a level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months as part of a development plan
