1. JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant, Reparations
Contract: Fixed-term until April 2029, 35 hours per week
Location: York/ hybrid (in office attendance once or twice a week)
Salary range: £47,814
2. MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
This role provides Executive support to the Head of Reparations, and enables the smooth administrative delivery of the wider reparations work. The role will collaborate across the organisation, including liaising with the SLT and Executive Team staff, trustees and key external stakeholders.

4. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Executive Support

Prepare and coordinate briefing and background documents so that the Head of Reparations (HOR) is fully informed ahead of key meetings.

Manage the HOR’s diary, inbox, and scheduling to ensure effective prioritisation of time including flagging urgent emails that need a response or forwarding emails to other members of the team to deal with as appropriate.

Coordinate travel and logistics, including booking transport and accommodation.
-
Prepare and send occasional correspondence on behalf of the HOR.

Internal and external meeting organisation - including compiling agendas for HOR, circulating papers, and producing meeting minutes and action trackers.

Managing the Briefings Tracker – ensuring the HOR is fully briefed and has relevant information, meeting participant bios, background reading for all internal an external meetings.

Recording and maintaining the Head of Reparations’ contacts, networks, including tracking emails, appointments and follow up actions.

Assist with proof-reading correspondence, desktop research, drafting letters and reports as necessary supporting the Head of Reparations.

Support Head of Reparations and SLT with Project Management Office administrative for key strategic initiatives such as project plan tracking, status reports, risk & action log maintenance, External Advisory Group coordination and logistics, Staff participation, external partner and stakeholder logistics.
4.3 Support for the team and wider organisation

Collaborating with staff on reparations related work.

Engaging with external key stakeholders, as appropriate.

Engaging with the communications team on social media activity related to reparations.

Support for event planning involving the HOR and reparations team, including venue booking and logistics – e.g. for Leadership Team Away Days, Board meetings and workshops, team events.

The Director of Major Gifts is a frontline fundraiser responsible for driving philanthropic growth by managing a portfolio of high-impact donors. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospects capable of leadership annual, major, and planned gifts. As a key collaborator within the development team, the Director of Major Gifts aligns donor passions with institutional strategic initiatives to foster a vibrant culture of giving.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Manage a targeted portfolio of 75-100 major gift prospects, developing bespoke "moves management" plans to transition prospects into committed donors

Implement individualized strategies that align a prospect’s philanthropic goals with institutional needs, utilizing data and research to inform appropriate ask amounts

Collaborate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to draft compelling gift proposals, case statements, and donor-facing materials

Partner with the Director of Development Services to execute creative cultivation plans and ensure all activities, meetings, and outcomes are documented in the CRM for team-wide transparency

Support high-priority campaigns, special initiatives, and fundraising events. Attend school and Advancement-hosted events to build community presence

Work alongside Development colleagues and volunteers to deliver high-touch stewardship and impactful gift reporting
Essential qualifications/experience:

Substantive progressive frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts

About the role

The Independent Training, delivered in collaboration with IPCAPA at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf) and the Anna Freud Centre/UCL is seeking progress advisors to support 4-5 trainees on the Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training from the start of their training through to completion.
This is an exciting opportunity to guide and support trainees in their development as future child psychotherapists. The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. There will be regular team meetings with the year tutor other progress advisors responsible for the year group. Outside of this, working hours are flexible.
We are looking for ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists with current CAMHS experience, who have an active interest in working with our year tutor and staff group to support trainees’ progress. The role may suit new career CAPts who wish to develop connections and experience within the field of CAPy training schools. There will be opportunity to take advantage of in house training to become an Intensive Case Supervisor and for additional paid hours of clinical teaching such as practice or clinical seminar groups as appropriate.

The Active Recovery Project gives adult survivors of abuse the opportunity to take part in community-based activities. It provides a safe and supportive space for clients to participate in a variety of group activities with others who share or understand their experience and develop peer relationships, resulting in increasing confidence and reduced isolation.
The activities are based on ideas from our members and include water-based activities (such as rowing, canoeing, sailing and kayaking), surfing, trips to community spaces and creative sessions (such as arts and crafts). Activities take place every week. Each activity will last approximately 2.5 hours each. Members can attend the group sessions for up to 18 months.

Job Purpose:
The Practitioner role requires working as part of a small team and they will help prepare and deliver two Active Recovery sessions per week, in Bristol and Somerset. The Somerset group runs on a Tuesday and the Bristol group runs on a Wednesday. During the sessions, the Practitioner will be responsible for using a trauma-informed approach to support clients who become dysregulated or need emotional support.
Principal Tasks:
1. Together with the rest of the Active Recovery team, to provide initial trauma-informed assessment phone calls and/or meetings with potential members as part of the registration process for Active Recovery. This includes assessing need, risk and suitability for the service using a trauma-informed approach.
2. To support the Active Recovery Lead in creating safety plans and tailoring activity sessions where appropriate. These will be informed through relationships with members and the initial assessment phone calls.
3. Support the Active Recovery Lead in planning trauma-informed sessions for members.
4. Support the setting up, delivering and debriefing about activity sessions with members and volunteers. Ensuring members are clear on each session's ground rules and safeguarding processes, using the Member’s Agreement.
5. Provide trauma-informed face-to-face support to members at sessions who may become overwhelmed or require help dealing with flashbacks and dissociation.
6. To support volunteers with safeguarding queries and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, including being the Safeguarding Lead at activity sessions if the Active Recovery Lead is not there and escalating any onward safeguarding referrals and queries to the Southmead Project Designated Safeguarding Lead.
7. Support the Active Recovery Lead with management of volunteers for the project.
8. Develop and maintain an Active Recovery community through email, phone calls, texts and in person.
9. Be the key person in ensuring that members have all the information and resources needed to get to the sessions - building a relationship of trust with members, using Spond, email, texts and calls, creating Canvas, figuring out transport logistics.
10. Support the project’s aim to have the members’ voices at the heart of the project.
11. Contribute to the development of outcome processes in line with the Southmead Project and its funders’ requirements.
12. Maintain positive relationships with partnership organisations for the project.
13. The Practitioner will not have budget responsibility but will ensure that their own personal expenses (mileage/parking) is within the budget for the project, keeping accurate records.
14. Record data accurately and in a timely manner on Oasis.
15. Attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings with the Head of Active Recovery.
16. To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a Supervisor who is approved by the Southmead Project. Supervision is a requirement of this charity as an organisational member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Governance Administrator provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the Governance Team, enabling effective academy-level governance across the Trust.
The role focuses on meeting coordination, clerking support, record-keeping, and day-to-day governance administration, ensuring that Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and governance professionals are well-supported and compliant with Trust policies and statutory requirements. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As a Governance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting effective governance across our academies by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the Governance Team.
You will support Local Governing Bodies through meeting coordination, clerking, and accurate record-keeping, helping to ensure governance processes are compliant, well-organised, and run smoothly at both academy and Trust level. The role requires a willingness to work some evenings to support governance meetings and the ability to travel across the Trust as needed.
Governance Administration & Coordination

Expanding our curriculum

We are also looking ahead to launching new V Levels in 2027 in response to the DfE launch of distinct programmes of study.
Key aspects of the role and main duties

Teach Computer Science to Ada students, maintaining outstanding standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

Support the college in developing an inventive approach to teaching, learning and assessment in computer science so that all students are challenged effectively and enabled not simply to achieve high outcomes but also to gain an excellent understanding of the subject which propels them into successful progression routes.

Prepare high quality learning resources that reflect the Ada Approach to Collaborative Professionalism.

Provide academic and pastoral support for students in their lessons, as well as support outside lessons (e.g. after college or during part of lunch) to ensure that every student makes continuous and effective progress.

Support student progress by providing constructive feedback both in lesson and on homework submitted that systematically checks learners’ understanding, identifies misconceptions accurately and provides clear, direct strategies for improvement.

Provide written feedback on students’ progress to the college, to parents/carers and to students themselves where appropriate and as directed by Senior Leaders.

Be a Team Lead (Form Tutor) and support, through mentoring and intervention, the personal development and academic progress of the students in your Team in line with Ada’s Social Mission and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Pivotal to the role will be the collaboration with external agencies and branches and clubs in Wales and Ireland, to strengthen and publicise our water safety education throughout the region together with supporting the needs of clubs in the region.
KEY TASKS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To build and maintain productive relationships with organisations involved in the field of water safety, particularly with Water Safety Wales, Water Safety Ireland and associated partners including attendance at relevant meetings in coordination with the RLSS UK team

Overall Job Purpose

Duties and key responsibilities
Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
- Manage, maintain and optimise constituent and gift data on Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the Database Officer with processing incoming donations from online giving platforms including JustGiving and Fundraise Up to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation.
- Support the Database Officer with monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
- Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud automated processes for importing constituent and gift data from external fundraising platforms.
- Support the Database Manager in designing and monitoring database KPIs.
- Lead data cleansing and housekeeping projects including data retention, consent and Gift Aid reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementation of best practice in collaboration with the Database Manager and Database Officer.
- Support fundraising stewardship through event management, automated workflows and mailing list coordination.
- Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls.
- Administer user access and database security settings in line with internal policies and GDPR.
Data Reporting and Insights
- Build sophisticated donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve donor retention and engagement.
- Deliver tailored reports, interactive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Staff Training and Support
- Provide tailored team training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
- Manage data-related enquiries and provide timely support.
Cross Function Collaboration
- Work closely with the Database Officer to align on day-to-day data processing and support.
- Partner with the Finance Team on reconciliation and reporting.
- Collaborate with Fundraising, Communications, and Support Services teams to provide strategic database insights and technical guidance.
Other
- Work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, undertaking other duties as required to support the wider operations of Sarcoma UK.
