Sustainable fashion is hard. For customers it is often much easier to throw away their clothes or swap them for cheap alternatives than to repair, resell, or recycle them. Further, the current fashion industry lives on constantly changing trends, exacerbated by cheap production and social media. Overconsumption, overproduction, and lack of convenient access to circular alternatives generates more than 90 million tons of textile waste every year - something we believe is fully avoidable.

CiRCEE aims to make circular fashion easy. We believe that all the necessary solutions already exist, but they are scattered across different companies and locations. On our platform, we want to combine all the elements of the circular fashion economy - sustainable retail, repair, resale, recycling, and, importantly, re-education. By bringing these services to the customer all-in-one, circularity becomes more convenient, less time-consuming, and overall more appealing for people to act according to.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• We are currently rebranding the company and need some help with developing a logo and visuals (general brand identity). Next to building our platform, we want to release a small collection of clothing with creative designs that link to our mission.
• Volunteer 4-6 hours per week remotely.

The digital network includes +550 members across +25 countries in Asia. It is an active and inspirational network of the region’s most promising leaders from diverse cultures, countries, and work environments, including government, civil society, academia, and social enterprises representatives.

The world is fragmented and we need to work in a collaborative way to tackle global issues such as climate change, peace & reconciliation but also the rise of Artificial intelligence. We host in-person and virtual events such as high level online conference, private roundtable discussion with experts, change makers and leaders across topics centered around building tech for a better world while supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals such as climate action, gender equality, and youth empowerment.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• We are looking for a volunteer to create digital marketing content brief videos and other digital support, along with creating visually appealing infographics

Jail Time Records is a non profit record label producing the music of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated artists from prisons in Cameroon and Burkina Faso. We built the first recording studio inside an African prison in the Central Prison of Douala-Cameroon. Jail Time Records believes that art and creativity can be used as powerful instruments for change, integration and rehabilitation. Incarcerated populations are amongst the most marginalised communities worldwide, and particularly in Africa. The punitive justice system in place does little to help those incarcerated reintegrate into society, and society sees incarceration as a sign of stigma and taboo. In Cameroon's prisons rehabilitation programs are almost inexistent.

We bring cultural activities and programs to one of the most marginalised communities in Cameroon and Burkina Faso, the incarcerated population. Through music and visual arts we stimulate inmates and former inmates to engage positively, find ways to express themselves non violently, and find hope and trust in new ways of being. Through the work of the prisoners that we publish and promote, we help transform the way society sees incarceration.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• Create visually appealing infographics, website banners and social media graphics in line with the strong visual language and identity of Jail Time Records and work on the layout of our new website.
• Volunteer 2-3 hours per week for 3-5 months.

Quilombo UK is looking for a Volunteer Graphic Designer to join the team. Quilombo UK is a not for profit social enterprise that challenges people to think differently and bridge gaps between communities, with the aim of building a culturally rich society, where differences are accepted and celebrated.

As chosen among 160 other organizations to work in collaboration with the Home Office on the “Building a Stronger Britain together” project, you will be joining a team, which not only supports the community but also stands up to extremism in all of its forms.

Quilombo UK works in collaboration with QMC Capoeira School, giving you the chance to support QMC Capoeira which is one of the most awarded Capoeira Schools in UK (UK Coaching Awards, Gillette Sports Awards, Kingston Council Sports Awards).

Main responsibilities:

- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Essential skills:
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Suite)
- Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of tasks
- Focused, organised and able to prioritise and execute tasks independently
- To show professionalism at all levels and in all environments
- Strong team player
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is an International non-profit, founded in 2001. GRAPHIC DESIGN FIRMS and INDIVIDUALS will collaborate directly with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing. IHF materials are marketed towards multiple geographies, both locally in the communities we work with and on a global platform. 

An At-Home volunteer in this position will:

- Assist our Media Team in visual editing of content for social media platforms or website design. 

- Develop materials for our Fundraising Team such as posters, flyers, infographics etc.

- Create original volunteer recruitment campaign materials
