The role

As our Digital Marketing Officer you will own and manage our social media presence and lead our internal email marketing processes. As you are delivering content across a range of digital platforms you will need an eye for detail, some creative flair and an understanding of what resonates with the people of our community.

With experience across a range of social and digital channels you will need to be a strong communicator, with the ability to build relationships with people across the organisation and external stakeholders.

Main duties and responsibilities

Leading PBE’s public events strategy and delivery

• Work with our Head of Communications and senior team to design and implement an events strategy as part of the communications and fundraising strategies.
• Event strategy and programme planning: drawing on expertise of PBE colleagues, trustees and relevant stakeholders to plan, market and deliver an engaging and innovative programme of online and in person events to budget and deadlines.
• Event design, delivery and follow-up: planning and managing operational delivery.
• Responsibility for logistics of events including guestlist development, speaker invitations and stewardship, ticketing, internal briefings, contractors, venue liaison, event marketing and follow up.
• Active communications with speakers and attendees before and after events to maximise impact.
• Stakeholder engagement with events: Researching and drawing on advice from colleagues on interesting, engaging and diverse speakers relevant to PBE’s strategy, and drawing on PBE’s research and analysis projects as well as the wider media landscape to actively identify opportunities and agendas for future events.
• Supporting the organisation of joint events with charities and social sector organisations, working as part of a small and dynamic communications team to maximise the impact and visibility of PBE’s projects and publications externally, and the organisation of private research roundtables.

Supporting development and income generation

• Work with the Director of Development to ensure our events programme supports PBE’s fundraising approach by engaging funders, helping to identify new business opportunities, and contributing to funding applications. 
• Working with the Development team to manage the design and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events including small private dinners, roundtables, panel sessions in person and online.
• Collaboration with the Development Director to identify mission-related commercial opportunities from our events, such as sponsorship.

Delivering effective communications

• Collaborate with wider communications team to deliver greater reach and impact for PBE through our multi-channel communications strategy.
• Support communications colleagues to create and deliver compelling digital communications to support our events programme
• Managing data, reporting and insight to improve our events: Maintenance of all records of activity in the CRM Salesforce, and liaison with the Head of Systems and our Operations Team to improve systems and processes.
• Perform additional duties as required to ensure the smooth running of PBE and the communications team.

About you

The role would suit candidates from an events agency or in-house events/communications background, able to work operationally and strategically, working with and advising senior staff internally and externally.

Candidates should be able to point to a strong track-record of creating and delivering events and stakeholder engagement, with sufficient experience to lead and co-ordinate a diverse programme of in person and online events to reach policymakers and the wider social sector.

• Experience in health and safety, GDPR and the legal aspect of events, such as risk assessments and charity tax. Familiarity with the Fundraising Regulator’s codes of practice
• Experience of WordPress and wider experience in Content Management Systems and content design.
• Experience of major donor and/or corporate relationship management.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

The Diocese of Rochester is committed to equipping its churches and leaders for growth and transformation. As part of this, we are seeking a Missional Development Parishes (MDP) Project Manager to join our Programme Team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.

The MDP Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of 15 strategically funded parish projects supported by the National Church. Working with the Head of Programmes, Diocesan colleagues, and parish representatives, the Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting processes across the MDP project. This role will be vital in supporting parish leaders and PCCs to lead and deliver their local MDP initiatives effectively.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and highly organised project manager, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage risk, track project outcomes, and support change across a variety of contexts. A background in monitoring and evaluation is important, and a desire to serve the mission of the Church will be key to thriving in this role. Experience of working with Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build strong working relationships with the 15 MDPs, acting as a governance and communications link with the Diocesan MDP Project Board

· Oversee and report on progress, risks, outcomes, and finances across all MDP projects

· Track progress against milestones and budgets, escalating risks and managing changes as needed

· Support the sharing of learning and success stories in collaboration with the Communications Officer and Mission and Ministry Development team

· Manage the MDP budget, including drawing down and allocating funds and reporting to stakeholders

· Act as secretary to the MDP Project Board and report to senior diocesan bodies including the Bishops Leadership Team and Diocesan Synod

About WA-UK

The Welfare Association (WA-UK) is a UK registered charity supporting transformative development projects and humanitarian relief interventions to empower and benefit Palestinian communities in the West Bank, Gaza and the refugee camps in Lebanon.  WA-UK partners with Taawon and its network of local Palestinian organisations and international actors operating in the region.  WA-UK projects in the sectors of health, education and development are the outcome of a locally led needs assessment exercise and are designed in consultation with its partners and implemented by local actors.

Job purpose: We are seeking a motivated, experienced Communications, Community Development and Support Officer to join a dynamic team to deliver WA-UK’s objectives. 

The appointee will develop and manage WA-UK’s Communication & Community Development strategy in coordination with the Fundraising Officer, the Programmes Officer, and in partnership with Taawon.  We’re looking for a team player who will devise communication strategies and produce content that informs and inspires multiple audiences including supporters, donors and other stakeholders.  You will set outreach targets, play an integral role in advancing campaigns – off-line and on-line – to advance the objectives of the charity and actively manage the website.  The post-holder will also provide administrative support and ensure the smooth running of the office

Duties & Key Responsibilities

Communications, outreach and community engagement

Guided by WA-UK’s objectives and strategic priorities and working in collaboration with its key partners:

· develop and lead on implementing WA-UK’s communication and community development strategy;

· produce content that informs and generates knowledge for the benefit of multiple audiences including supporters, donors and stakeholders; and utilise different mediums through which to disseminate that content;

· set outreach targets and grow and diversify the charity’s audience;

· devise and manage campaigns (offline and online) to advance WAUK’s objectives;

· regularly update website content (including quarterly e-news), WAUK Facebook page, X, Instagram profiles, LinkedIn;

· liaise with Taawon to coordinate messaging and appeals as and when necessary;

· maintain and update mailing lists;

· with the fundraising officer, promote the charity’s public profile (directly and indirectly) including through participation in multiple fora and with other stakeholders, charities, NGOs operating in the humanitarian space;

· promote opportunities for grassroots initiatives to engage with WA-UK.

Support and reporting

The appointee will:

· provide support to the programme officer and fundraising officer as and when needed

· provide the board with regular updates on the implementation of the communications and community engagement strategy

· contribute to the production of reports issued by and for the board including the annual report.

Administration

The appointee will be responsible for:

· basic book-keeping;

· monitoring and processing donations (digital and postal), responding to donors and updating databases;

· answering calls & inquiries including by email and post;

· general office admin tasks such as filing, maintaining office supplies.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, this role supports the planning, delivery, and monitoring of campaigns that inform, support, and connect the cleft community in the UK. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a good understanding of digital communications and a passion for community engagement. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day digital content, respond to online enquiries, and support internal teams with their communications needs. We are recruiting a Standards Policy Officer to join our small and friendly Standards and Regulation team.

About the role

The role of the Standards and Regulation function is to monitor newspaper, magazine and digital publishers’ compliance with the Editors’ Code of Practice and to take action to address concerns about editorial standards, including by undertaking investigations into serious standards failures as necessary. It’s a busy team that coordinates closely with others at IPSO and outside the organisation, engaging with members of the public, journalists, and experts on a wide variety of subjects. Some recent issues that the standards team has worked on are reporting of sexual offences, suicide, major incidents, and domestic abuse.

As the Standards Policy Officer, you will carry out a range of tasks, including analysing information drawn from complaints received by IPSO, supporting the annual statements process and engaging with a range of representative groups who have concerns about press reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Standards and other colleagues across IPSO.

This is a role for someone who is interested in news and journalism, has excellent communication and analytical skills, and enjoys working with others to achieve a shared purpose. Candidates who demonstrate relevant experience will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through a written exercise prior to short-listing for interview. This means that we can measure candidates’ relevant skills directly and make a fairer decision on which applications to take forward.
