The Institute is seeking to employ a Head of Finance to lead the financial administration of the organisation through its next stage of development.
We are looking for an experienced Finance manager, as a qualified accountant who is ideally experienced in working with a charity or research environment. The post holder will be a self-starter that relishes a challenge, who is prepared to support and develop the Finance function of the Institute. They will need to be a hands-on Head of Finance who understands the mechanics of working within a small organisation, with competing and evolving priorities.

The Head of Finance role is a permanent, full-time position with an opportunity for a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will work at least 2 days per week on site with the flexibility to work remotely. The church offices are in a new, light-filled building next to the St. John at Hackney Church. You will be working alongside a closely integrated team of 40 staff and clergy, all with exceptional skills within their ministries.
The key duties of this Head of Finance role are as follows:
- Work with Pastoral Leads to help develop and execute the financial strategy supporting SAINT's mission and goals.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and advise on financial strategies.
- Prepare consolidated accounts for the entire church group, combining financial data from all churches and entities under SAINT.
- Facilitate annual audits, including liaising with external auditors and providing required documentation.
- Prepare, analyse and distribute monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards.

- Work with the Finance Manager to develop and monitor budgets and identify areas for cost optimisation.

The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified as an Accountant with professional body membership (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
- Experience of producing statutory accounts, management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budgets and other financial reports.
- Knowledge of UK charity accounting and reporting regulations is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Purpose of the role:
To support the Development and Fundraising function of the Trust, developing long term relationships and maximising income. The Head of Development will work alongside the Development Director and other staff to implement our Development Strategy, increasing income from Trusts and Foundations, Major Donors and Individual Givers and other sources.
Key responsibilities:
Relationship Development
· Nurture and develop relationships with existing donors, contributing to the collection of monitoring information ensuring continued support and engagement.
· To manage a portfolio of current and potential supporters to maintain, grow and/or revive their support for the Fellowship, implementing strategies for donor cultivation and stewardship.
Funding and partnership proposals
· To use research tools to identify and research Individual, Trust and Major Donor opportunities.
· To oversee the management of grant and trust income programme, ensuring production of effective, high quality proposals.
· To contribute to the achievement of the Fellowship’s target to raise both unrestricted and restricted funding.
· To maintain up-to-date information on the status of funding applications and grant management in Salesforce – our customer relationship management database.
Systems and processes
· To manage the development and implementation of systems and processes to record the development and engagement pipeline, ensuring that all key information is recorded consistently.
· Work with the finance team to ensure income regular income reconciliation and forecasting.
Other
· To line manage a Development Officer.
· To support the Churchill Fellowship’s internal due diligence approval processes.
· To provide cover to colleagues in their absence.
· To undertake any other reasonable duties as and when required.

The Community Energy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Community Energy Services department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services. This includes strategic planning, resource management, process improvement, and the leadership of a diverse team. In this role you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Community Energy Services department, ensuring a high level of service delivery aligned with organizational goals and community needs.

About You

A Strong background in budget management, data management and process improvement will also be required.

About the role
St Elizabeth’s is a unique organisation that specialises in providing high quality care and education to children and young people with Epilepsy and other complex medical conditions. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Head of Residential Childcare Services to lead, develop and oversee seven children’s homes, ensuring the highest standard of bespoke care and support is provided for each young person. Over the next 12 months, we plan to register our seven homes individually with Ofsted and the post holder will play a pivotal role in leading on the registrations and ensuring its success. This role will not act as a Registered Manager for the services.
About you
This opportunity will allow you to use your existing knowledge and expertise in the management of Children’s Homes, to implement new ideas, support and develop our Registered Managers, ensure best practice and compliance with Ofsted regulations, whilst working alongside the Director of Children’s Health & Care and other senior leaders to ensure a safe and professional environment for our staff, children and young people.
You’ll be working in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across St Elizabeth’s, so well developed interpersonal skills are essential. You will be someone that thinks outside the box; taking service expansion and admissions into consideration, alongside managing the day-today operations of the service. You will be creative and strategic in your approach allowing you to effectively bring the Children’s Services strategic plan to realisation.

The Head of Communications and Policy is responsible for leading the function to provide a coherent approach to communications, marketing and policy activity across the EOA. This pivotal senior role has oversight and performance management of the function to ensure our external and internal communications are effective against strategic goals. Background
Our 68-year-old charity is one of the most exciting and flexible employers in the charity sector. Having supported 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and their 100,000 heroic volunteer fundraisers to raise more than £1 Billion during the past decade, last year we began to lay the foundations for significant growth in impact during the decade ahead, not just to extend the impact of PTAs, but to provide more broader support for parents in enabling their children to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

Main purpose and scope of Role
This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. PTA Programme
- Growing our network of PTAs.
