Key Responsibilities
Youth Programmes Management and Delivery
- Manage the operations of the charity’s youth programmes in London including our two Choices & Consequences exhibition sites, Youth Ambassador Programme and other projects.
- Deliver inspiring, high-quality workshops and help train others by modelling best practice and supporting their development
- Work closely with the team to maintain consistently high standards across all our programmes, playing a key role in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Take the lead on specific projects as needed, helping us grow and evolve our youth work in line with our mission.
Programme Development
- Assist with the review, shaping and strengthening our youth programmes by using insights from young people and service user feedback to inform ongoing development and improvement.
- Review, design and create engaging learning resources in collaboration with the Head of Programmes, including youth programmes and online resources for teachers and schools.
- Use feedback and evaluation data to support learning and improvement across the charity, and produce clear, insightful reports for internal use, stakeholders and funders.

The Policy and Campaigns Officer will develop policy positions and campaigns that will help ensure that the needs, rights and priorities of those living with DMD are understood and acted on by decision makers, policy makers, parliament and government. The Officer will work closely with colleagues in the Policy and Communications team to support a cohesive and impactful approach to policy, engagement and communications.
Job Description

The Events Officer will support the Events Operation Manager in delivering the smooth running and operation of the Aga Khan Centre facilities and events. In this context, he/she will manage the daily set up, servicing, cleaning and management of meeting rooms and Board Rooms for a range of events. Duties include preparation and setting out of all refreshments for meetings and events.
The role requires the ability to work flexibly in terms of working hours including late hours and Saturdays and Sundays if required to support and accommodate events.
Meetings & Events
• Support the team with setting up meeting rooms for internal and external users, including organising tea/coffee trolleys and serving meeting room lunches
• Liaison with clients/bookers/stakeholders via email, by phone and face to face
• Creation of event agendas/function sheets/transferring all information from the organiser to capture event requirements

About This Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a key role in managing and developing Smart Works’ relationships with corporate supporters. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Partnerships and Fundraising team to deliver an ambitious income target and provide outstanding experiences for our partners.
You will manage your own portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring each relationship delivers value, impact, and long-term engagement. As Regular Giving Officer, you will play a critical role in growing and maintaining income at the Hospice of St Francis and in positioning us as the local charity of choice amongst our community.
Reporting into the Head of Philanthropy and working closely with the rest of the Fundraising Department, as well as with the Communications and Volunteering Departments, you will personally manage and grow the Hospice of St Francis’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving Programme, also known as Friends of St Francis.
You will forge strong working relationships and collaborate closely with the Communications Department, responsible for Appeal Giving, and the Wellbeing Department, responsible for in-memory giving and the Light up a Life programme, together establishing an integrated individual giving programme.
The Friends of St Francis was established in 2024, following a full review of the programme and has just marked its first anniversary. This role will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing a strategy that will ensure the retention and recruitment of regular givers through refining the offering and providing a thoughtful engagement plan. You will also be responsible for developing a new mid-value Friends segment, ensuring its alignment with the Major Donor programme and other offerings.
With an eye to growing income, you will also explore and implement options to grow the supporter base, including payroll giving and testing the conversion of one-time donors. You will also consider options to optimise the programme for the digital age, taking into consideration the demographic of our supporters.
This is an exciting role with lots of potential to utilise your skills and test and implement different strategies to grow the regular giving base at the Hospice of St Francis.

In the Head of Risk, Governance and Reporting role you will oversee processes which manage organisational risk and support the Board and Chief Executive in their governance responsibilities and ensure all regulatory reporting is completed to a good quality and to timescale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and oversee processes which manage organisational risk: the strategic risk register, the internal audit service and first line legal advice services.
- Support the Board and the Chief Executive in fulfilling their governance responsibilities for the charity ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory authorities and standards.
- Ensure regulatory returns and assessments are made on time and to a good quality, and support with regulatory inspections.
- Provide line management, support, and development to the team.
- Work closely with the Director of Governance and Compliance and deputise as required.
Work flexibly for 2 days per week from our central office in London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
