Are you looking for a rewarding role working for an intersectional feminist organisation? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join our team as Facilities Manager at Solace Women's Aid.
We exist to end the harm caused by gender-based violence. Our aim is to prevent violence and abuse, as well as provide services that meet the individual needs of survivors, particularly women and children. You will bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.
You will be confident working with landlords, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and standards are maintained across our sites.
You will be passionate about creating safe, inclusive and well-functioning environments for our service users and staff, and you will share our commitment to Solace's values and purpose.
We understand that you may not have all the knowledge, experience, and skills mentioned in the Job Profile Document. However, your interpersonal skills, passion to have a positive impact, commitment to our purpose, and ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively will be equally important.

While we know this evidence is critical to informing decision-making and improving safety, it often does not yet exist or is not easily accessible. Responding to this need, the Foundation has established GSEC as a hub for anyone who needs to know ‘what works’ to make people safer, collating the best safety evidence from our partners and other sources and communicating it in an understandable and actionable form. GSEC also hosts the Foundation’s own evidence outputs, such as our flagship World Risk Poll.
