The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.
Working closely with managers across the organisation, the postholder will oversee the end-to-end volunteer journey, ensuring volunteers receive a positive, inclusive and well-supported experience from application through to departure.
The role will coordinate recruitment for all volunteer opportunities, including volunteer counsellors, facilitators, administrative volunteers, finance volunteers, fundraising volunteers and other volunteer roles as required. The postholder will also lead initiatives to strengthen volunteer engagement, recognition and retention, helping to build a sustainable and diverse volunteer community that supports the organisation's mission.
The role works closely with the HR & Operations Manager to ensure volunteering practices remain compliant with safeguarding, GDPR, organisational policies and best practice guidance.
Hours: Part-time, 14 hours per week (0.4 FTE).

The Operations and Outreach Officer supports the smooth running of Cambridge City Foodbank’s operational service, from warehouse to Foodbank Welcome Centres and to Fairbite Food Clubs. We're looking for someone who not only loves and cares for animals but is also resilient and resourceful in dealing with humans! This is a brand-new position within our Shelter's small team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Everything we do is in service of our mission to Rescue, Love, Repeat, taking in animals who have nowhere else to go, giving them the care they need, and finding them the homes they deserve. You'll report to the Chair of our Fundraising and Promotion Committee and work closely with our Operations Manager, with strategy and support offered throughout. Your role will be operational, with a focus on delivery and community engagement, and you'll be encouraged to make your own mark on it as we grow.
Destitute Animals Shelter has developed a Fundraising Strategy for 2025 – 27, and we're looking to diversify our income streams to make sure we're hitting the financial targets that cover the rising costs of the good work we do daily at our Shelter. You should have experience in working with volunteers, understanding how to support and develop their skills. Previous delivery of training is essential, and if that experience has been gained in a peer-support or recovery setting, all the better. This role requires emotional intelligence; you’ll be working with people who have faced adversity, and your ability to support them within clear, professional boundaries is critical. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.
You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Developing areas of expertise within our Co-ordinator team is something we are keen to do.
As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. · Develop, implement and continuously refine a high-value corporate partnerships strategy aligned to organisational growth ambitions

About you
Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for a Support Group Co-ordinator who will deliver the Myeloma UK Support Group Partnership programme in line with the organisation’s overall strategy.
You will have experience of working with support groups and/or volunteer networks as well as recruiting, training, managing and supervising a diverse range of staff or volunteers. The post holder will need to show clear evidence of relationship building and working with underrepresented groups. A key part of the role is understanding the needs of cancer patients and their families and of health inequalities.

About the role
The Support Group Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact within the organisation for all Support Group enquiries. PURPOSE OF ROLE
Major donors and philanthropists are currently responsible for over a quarter of Caudwell Youth’s annual income – due in part to the generosity of the networks of our founder, John Caudwell.
As Caudwell Youth enters its fourth year, we are seeking a Senior Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships manager to help us expand beyond our strong founder-led base into a sustainable major donor and corporate supporter portfolio.
Proactive and commercially-minded, you will be confident driving and developing all stages of the major donor and corporate supporter stewardship process. Confidence in engaging in new business research, prospecting, initial meetings and pitches is a must, as you will be responsible for growing our small pipeline of supporters and warm prospects into a long-term income stream.
This is essential to Caudwell Youth’s future sustainability, with corporate partnerships and major donor income currently making up 30% of Caudwell Youth’s annual fundraising income (forecast to be around £450,000 this year).
Our ambition is to increase this revenue stream by around 50% to over £800,000 by 2030, in order to support more at-risk young people from across the UK, as set out in our recently launched strategy, Going National.
This is a role for a self-starter who is excited to drive high value growth and be a key part of Caudwell Youth’s upward trajectory, working within a small but dynamic fundraising team. It offers significant opportunity to shape and lead this area of fundraising as it grows.

The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise.
