Overview of the Directorate
The Education Directorate delivers the English-Speaking Union’s (ESU) education programmes, competitions and training, helping young people develop the confidence and skills to speak, listen, think critically and engage constructively with different points of view.
The ESU’s debating, public speaking and cultural exchange programmes aim to embed sustainable cultures of oracy in schools and empower young people to engage with the world. The Directorate works with schools and educational settings across England and Wales and with a pool of freelance Oracy Leaders to deliver its programmes.
Purpose of the Role
The Senior Education Coordinator – School Partnerships will help ensure young people across England and Wales develop essential oracy skills by supporting the sales of the ESU’s educational products. These include the ‘Discover Your Voice’ student oracy workshops and Teacher Oracy CPD sessions for schools and other educational settings.
The postholder will administer the sales process, responding to enquiries, converting warm leads into bookings and overseeing the delivery of workshops and training. The role requires someone who is proactive, motivated and confident working with a high degree of initiative.
Key Responsibilities
• Convert conversations with inbound and warm leads into confirmed workshop bookings
• Respond to and follow up on inbound leads and warm conversations, moving prospects through the sales pipeline
• Collaborate with the ESU Marketing Team and Director of Education to advise on the messaging and assets needed to promote the ESU’s education offers
• Manage workshop delivery, acting as the point of contact for Lead Teachers, appointing freelance Oracy Leaders and providing clear communication, support and resources
• Use Salesforce to manage programme delivery, maintain accurate account and communication records and report on sales pipelines
• Collect monitoring and evaluation data, including student surveys, teacher surveys and case studies
• Work closely with the ESU’s pool of Oracy Leaders, including communicating before and after workshops, booking staff onto delivery and liaising with Finance and HR where necessary
• When capacity allows, support other functions within the Education Programmes Team, including national and international public speaking, debate and performance competitions
• Undertake other relevant responsibilities as reasonably requested by the line manager, including communications, administration and resource design

About the role
The Senior Individual Giving Executive (Digital Acquisition) will play a key part in the delivery of the Individual Giving programme, producing sector-leading comms and campaigns to recruit and retain supporters. You will work closely with the rest of the IG team and the Fundraising and Communications Department to deliver high-quality, data-led campaigns across a range of marketing channels. The role will include campaign delivery, budgeting, strategy and planning, managing relationships with key suppliers and driving continuous campaign improvement.
This role will focus predominantly on digital acquisition activity, with a particular focus on paid search and paid social, though there is flexibility for this to change in the future.
About you
We are looking for a passionate fundraiser with keen interest in the charity sector, particularly in humanitarian work. The ideal candidate will have a range of cross-channel experience, ideally in the charity sector and in an Individual Giving team, with a particular focus on digital acquisition. We are looking for someone with the passion to drive and improve our digital acquisition campaigns, to critically review campaigns and implement improvements, and to put their own stamp on the role.

This role offers hybrid working between home and our offices in either Blackpool in Lancashire or Ashburton in Devon (a robust home broadband connection is essential). This means you would be expected to attend office a minimum of once every 3 months, although this can be more if you prefer. You may be asked to attend office more regularly than these minimum requirements. You will need to live within an easily commutable distance of the office either by car or public transport, we suggest up to 1hr 30mins commute.
This role is a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Supporter Engagement Manager to help WWF-UK build stronger, longer-lasting relationships with our supporters.
Sitting within the Supporter Retention team, you’ll help shape and deliver supporter journeys for some of WWF-UK’s key regular giving products, including Junior Adoptions and Go Wild Junior Membership.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging supporter communications across digital, direct mail, telemarketing and other channels, making sure every interaction feels relevant, valuable and connected to the impact of our work.
Working closely with the Senior Supporter Engagement Manager, Supporter Engagement Editor and colleagues across digital, content, supporter care and fundraising, you’ll help develop campaigns and journeys from initial idea through to delivery, evaluation and improvement.
You’ll use insight, data and supporter feedback to understand what is working, identify where journeys can be improved and test new approaches that strengthen engagement and retention. You’ll also keep an eye on trends, competitor activity and new opportunities, helping WWF-UK continue to evolve its fundraising products and supporter experience.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining campaign management, content development, digital engagement, supplier management and performance analysis. You’ll coordinate activity across internal teams and external partners, manage budgets and timelines and make sure campaigns are delivered to a high standard.
You’ll also have the freedom to spot opportunities to surprise and delight existing supporters, creating timely and engaging moments that help strengthen their connection with WWF-UK.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, curious and motivated by understanding what makes supporters engage and stay connected. You’ll be comfortable managing detail and deadlines, working collaboratively across teams and using insight to continually improve the supporter experience.

Role Purpose
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple projects run by Bassetlaw Foodbank (BFB). They will be required to deputise for the CEO, ensure compliance is followed, that BFB’s premises are well maintained and all projects have what they need to operate on a daily basis.
About us
Bassetlaw Foodbank was established in 2012 to tackle food insecurity across the district of Bassetlaw. Since 2020 the charity has expanded to tackle poverty on multiple fronts, running projects that focus both on the affordability and accessibility of food. We support residents of Bassetlaw who are in crisis, and those at risk of falling into crisis.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties:
· Supporting the CEO; in line with the structure chart, managing paid resources (including deputising as needed).
· To oversee and ensure the operation of all BFB’s projects in tandem with one another.
· Managing volunteers across several charity projects.
· Being responsible for compliance across BFB’s sites.
· Being a point of contact for staff, volunteers, supporters, external and referral agencies, and clients.
· Occasionally acting as a key ‘face’ of Bassetlaw Foodbank; networking on behalf of BFB; raising the profile of BFB; encouraging donations.
· Being a contact point for the organisation in relation to the charity including supporters, volunteers, referral agencies and clients.
· Ensuring the completion of daily/routine paperwork in line with operational procedures and role portraits.
· Be responsible for good operational standards and working practices in the warehouse and storage areas.
· Reviewing and updating risk assessments, policies, and procedures; keeping staff and volunteers updated with Trustee-approved information.
· Ensuring all referrals are dealt with accurately and efficiently; being aware of clients’ confidentiality and dignity. This includes talking directly to service users to triage their requests for emergency food parcels.
· Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are recorded and maintained; preparing for and actioning all Health and Safety audits.
· Ensuring Food Hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times in all BFB’s operations.
· Overseeing operational spending and other financial transactions in line with the budget.
· Ensuring all charity vehicles are maintained and compliant.
· Develop relationships with the outlying community to ensure access for all.
· Being a key holder for BFB’s sites and responding to call-outs as required.
· Occasionally filling in as the key member of staff on the mobile community shop, including driving the van and serving customers.
· Any other duties that may be reasonably requested to ensure delivery of BFB’s aims and objectives.
Person Specification

About the role
