We are seeking a Supporter Engagement Lead to play a central role in building strong, lasting relationships with supporters, ensuring every interaction reflects care, transparency, and impact.

You'll act as the first point of contact for supporters, delivering excellent supporter care through phone, email, and post. Managing all aspects of legacy administration and liaising with families and solicitors, you'll ensure exceptional supporter care throughout. You'll support the delivery of individual giving programmes including welcome packs and annual thanking, while creating and developing stewardship initiatives for key supporter groups such as Old Fegans and Spurgeons Scholars.

Working collaboratively with the Marketing Team and internal stakeholders, you'll create and deliver engaging supporter communications including monthly emails, magazines, and prayer resources to inspire loyalty and long-term giving. You'll also develop and deliver an engaging community fundraising programme, create and manage a suite of challenge events designed to attract new donors, and plan year-round conferences and events (both in-person and online) to promote Spurgeons' work and drive engagement from individuals and churches.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering excellent supporter or customer care, including handling enquiries and building relationships
• Experience managing fundraising administration processes such as donation handling, Gift Aid, and legacy administration
• Track record of planning and delivering successful events (in-person and online) for engagement or fundraising purposes
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to produce compelling content and engage supporters

By month 3, you'll have gained a full understanding of Spurgeons' supporter engagement strategy and successfully delivered at least one monthly supporter email. By month 6, you'll have launched at least one community fundraising initiative and one challenge event. By month 12, you'll have delivered a fully developed stewardship programme and achieved measurable improvements in supporter satisfaction and retention.

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean.It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview. 

Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.1 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the role 

As our Partnership Officer, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty.

Reporting into the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships, the Partnership Officer plays a pivotal role in the brand and corporate team and is responsible for supporting, stewarding, renewing, and growing our brand and corporate partners to meet our income targets and to source donated product for our service users. Our partners range from emerging brands to strategic corporate partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, brand donations and volunteering.

The role is varied and requires outstanding relationship building and communication skills, strong time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and relationship management. You will be required to engage and influence a wide range of partner stakeholders, as well as collaborating across our teams to meet the needs of our partners.

Primary Purpose:

‘Green Connections’ is an innovative project which supports older people in Crewe and Nantwich surrounding area to reconnect with nature in their yards and gardens, connect older and isolated individuals with wider support and local opportunities to help relieve social isolation and loneliness.  It also provides group delivery sessions around gardening based activities in care homes and community settings

This position involves actively engaging with people aged 50 plus who wish to connect to nature and learn more about their garden or gardening activities. You will be responsible for community engagement, organising resources, working with older people in their homes for tailored sessions and providing group delivery sessions in the community and care homes..

The Green Connections Coordinator role also involves actively engaging older people with services and support available, enhancing their quality of life. You will coordinate with other organisations and use their resources to secure additional support, always prioritising the consent and preferences of the clients. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, offering vital support to those in need.

Main Duties:

· Support with teaching older people new gardening skills in attending to their planters and encourage new interests in wildlife and biodiversity.

· Update monitoring and evaluation systems to accurately record project outcomes and volunteer information.

Using your excellent communication skills you’ll build strong relationships with everyone taking part in an InCommon programme, from children and older people to primary school teachers and staff working at retirement homes. This role may involve communication before and after the session with parties taking part; where this is the case it will be clearly communicated by the Senior Programme Manager.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our vibrant and friendly finance department. You will be responsible for supporting the Activities Finance Coordinator with the smooth running of the Accounts Payable and Receivable function and other duties within the activities finance team. In light of the Union’s recent management of the Bloomsbury Theatre, the postholder will also assist the Finance Department with a variety of tasks, providing flexible support to meet the department’s evolving needs.

Do you have relevant experience in an Accounts Payable role with a strong understanding of financial ledgers and control accounts? Have you dealt with checking and processing a high volume of transactions? If the answer is yes, then we would like you to join our finance team.

The Role

This is far more than a technical finance role. As a key member of the SMT, the Director of Finance will hold collective responsibility for the overall leadership, culture, performance, and strategic direction of the organisation, working collaboratively with fellow senior leaders to ensure our values shape decision-making at every level.

Alongside strategic financial leadership, the role includes senior oversight of Facilities and IT, recognising the vital role these services play in the provision of safe and effective services.  The role also operates as Company Secretary and takes responsibility for information governance.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of Finance will work closely with Trustees, senior colleagues, and external partners to ensure the hospice remains financially sustainable, well-governed, and resilient. 

About You

You will be a senior finance leader who combines professional expertise with strong interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to values-based leadership. You will bring:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent).
• Significant senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally within a charity, healthcare, public sector, or complex not-for-profit environment.
• Experience of working closely with Boards or Trustees and contributing at a strategic level.
• The ability to lead collaboratively beyond finance, with credibility and interest in areas such as Facilities and IT.
• A genuine commitment to leading with Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Responsibility, and Collaboration.

Primary Teacher with Therapeutic Experience - Oasis Nurture – Oasis St Martin’s Village

Oasis St Martin’s Village

Oasis St Martins Village is part of Oasis which is a group of organisations, committed to building stronger communities. Oasis Nurture

Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.

Oasis Nurture is in its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.

As a Teacher, you will be working with a maximum of six children supported by a key worker and a therapeutic practitioner. You will work alongside a therapeutic lead and a clinical lead.

In this role you will be:

· Working with the home school and parents/carers to understand the children’s needs and developing agreed goals for learning and emotional and social development

· Developing a basic curriculum for Key Stage 2 children for numeracy and literacy, related to their stage learning at their home school, so that they don’t fall behind.

· Providing a personalised, bespoke and restorative approach for each individual child to help address their challenges and fulfil their potential. 

· Maintaining clear and accurate records for individual children on the designated online systems and reporting back to the home school and parents/carers on the agreed goals

· You will also be working with the Therapeutic Lead to provide opportunities for mindful therapeutic care to remove barriers to learning and provide emotional support to access the curriculum. While this role requires primary teaching experience it also requires someone who has experience of working in trauma responsive ways and understands the therapeutic needs of children who struggle to engage.

Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families. Oasis Nurture is not a statutory provision and does not therefore follow teachers’ pay and conditions. Oasis offers all the usual employment benefits including sick pay and pension.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fundraising Adviser to support parishes in securing funding for projects to improve and repair their church buildings.

About the Role

Working closely with the Church Buildings Team, Archdeacons, Parish Support, and external partners, you will play a key role in helping parishes achieve successful capital projects that strengthen mission, heritage engagement, and community use.

Main duties include:

• Provide expert advice on fundraising for church buildings and capital projects.
• Support parishes in identifying grant sources and preparing strong applications.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of grant making organisations.
• Give strategic guidance on fundraising approaches and income generation.
• Attend DAC site visits and meetings to advise on funding options.
