We are an Independent Special Needs day school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum disorder and other complex needs. Typically, the pupils placed at our school have had significantly disrupted educational journey's.

Details of the role

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy (Health), and working in a team of major gift fundraisers, you will be responsible for securing six-figure gifts across a range of life-changing priorities spanning students, research and innovation. This post will work closely with colleagues across the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health to deliver major gifts into priority areas including cancer, brain health and health inequalities. The post will support the Division’s efforts to develop and implement the health fundraising strategy in order to significantly increase philanthropic income.

An exceptional major gift fundraiser, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships to secure six-figure gifts. You will proactively build the pipeline, demonstrating a creative approach to reach potential new donors. You will develop creative and effective engagement, cultivation and stewardship plans that deepen prospect relationships and inspire future support.

You will have experience working within a team whilst working towards personal targets. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are results orientated, persuasive and have exceptional negotiation skills.

Enquiries

• To be the first point of contact for all enquiries into the College managed through a digital ticketing system.
• Respond to enquiries using information and knowledge from all departments of the College, which often involves the interpretation and application of rules and procedures.  Use judgement to triage what action is required, where appropriate.
• Respond to all enquiries relating to qualification journeys, which includes information about the qualification/course, assistance in applying and payment, processing updates, help with learning journey on Learning Management System (LMS), the awarding and recertification of qualifications.
• Respond to all enquiries relating to membership, which includes help choosing the appropriate membership type and associated fees, renewals, upgrades, direct debits, and cancellation.
• Respond to all other enquiries, such as information on CoSRH events, and from prospective members about the work and activity of the College.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the work and activities of the College to help respond to enquiries.

Qualification processing

• Responsible for the administration and processing of all CoSRH qualifications, recertifications and recertification audits in line with agreed procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Work closely with relevant teams when new training, assessments or qualifications are introduced to ensure accurate administration and processing.
• Support the administration and processing of applications from outside the UK for international qualifications

About the role

About the role

Working closely with the Youth Programmes Manager, you will lead interdisciplinary teams to achieve performance, quality and compliance targets, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of high‑quality services to beneficiaries. Using strong project management practice, you will motivate and enable your team, driving contract compliance and supporting continuous improvement.

This role focuses exclusively on the Northern Futures programme supporting 18–24‑year‑olds who are economically inactive and living with physical or mental health conditions, helping them gain meaningful work experience and receive personalised 1‑to‑1 support from Employment Coaches as they move towards employment, education or training.

You will also play a key role in developing the programme by identifying, applying for and managing smaller community‑focused projects that enhance support for participants and strengthen the wider impact of Northern Futures.

You will work solely on the Northern Futures programme, funded by North East Combined Authority

The Research and Evaluation Manager will work to position King’s College London as a sector leader on conducting institutional evaluation and research to understand how we can support students from underrepresented groups to access university and succeed at university. Our team aims to generate causal evidence, either through Randomised Controlled Trials or Quasi-experimental designs.

Essential criteria

· Relevant work experience and/or education: We think a wide range of different work and educational experiences could support you to be successful in this role. Relevant work experience might include work in any research or evaluation job.  Relevant educational experiences might include higher education in a related discipline, professional qualifications or other training 

· Ability to consider and select appropriate research designs and methodologies, using qualitative and quantitative methods including surveying, interviewing and running focus groups.  

· Experience establishing causal inference in research when evaluating projects or interventions with experimental methods (e.g. quasi-experimental methods, randomised controlled trials). 

· Experience in designing and running multiple social research and evaluation projects, managing competing demands and timescales and delivering to milestones. 

· Confident in conducting data analysis including handling large data sets and statistical testing using relevant software (such as Power BI, R, Stata, or SPSS) and presenting findings in various formats. 

· Confident and clear written and verbal communication, including report-writing, data visualisation and presentation skills. 

· Ability to give a team clear direction and guide it to the successful completion of a task. 

· Ability to identify and manage the objectives, performance, and development needs of others. 

Desirable criteria

· Postgraduate degree or qualification in research methods, statistics, analytics or a related field and/or relevant experience. 

· Experience using behavioural insights in a research or policy context to positively influence behaviour 

· Understanding of the widening participation agenda and/or the role of higher education in social mobility
