This is a brilliant opportunity to join a stable, high-performing fundraising team with exceptional staff longevity. The person previously in this role was in post for 10 years, and the line manager has been with the organisation for 9 years — a real testament to the culture, leadership and support on offer.
The Partnerships Officer will manage a successful corporate portfolio worth c.£400k, made up of a strong mix of long-standing partners and new business. Corporate fundraising is the organisation’s largest income stream, with events as a key secondary driver, meaning this role sits at the heart of future income growth.
Alongside stewarding existing partnerships, there is a particular opportunity to develop new corporate relationships locally, where there is significant untapped potential. Partnerships span a range of models, offering variety, creativity and scope to build meaningful, long-term relationships.
This role would suit a Corporate Fundraising Assistant looking to step up, or someone keen to take on a larger, more strategic portfolio while remaining hands-on with delivery and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and growing an established portfolio of corporate partners
Developing new business, with a focus on local corporate opportunities
Building strong, long-term relationships across a mix of partnership types
Supporting corporate-led events and wider community fundraising activity
Working closely with fundraising and communications colleagues
Accurately recording activity and income using a CRM
The organisation is based on a beautiful site between Teddington and Hampton Wick, offering a genuinely lovely working environment.
The team typically works 2–3 days per week in the office, with Tuesday as the anchor team day, and the remainder working from home.
You’ll bring:
Experience in corporate fundraising or partnerships
A track record of managing relationships and delivering income
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive, collaborative and relationship-led approach
Experience of community fundraising and events would be welcome but is not essential.

This is a varied, rewarding role for someone who wants to make a real difference in the community while helping to shape high-quality welfare benefits advice services. Hope and Homes for Children is looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven fundraiser to lead high-value global partnerships and help millions of separated children get back to family. We have a compelling proposition; we're looking for someone with a compelling track record in generating trusts and foundations income.
About the role
As our Senior Grants Partnerships Manager, you'll own a portfolio of up to ten large trusts, foundations and institutional funders at six and seven figure level, deepening existing relationships while opening up new ones across North America, the Gulf States, East Asia, Northern Europe and the UK.
Working closely alongside our Programmes and Advocacy colleagues, and sitting within the Programmes team so you're close to the work itself, you'll research and win new donors, shape compelling proposals and steward the relationships that follow. You'll also lead on assigned institutional funding relationships, contribute to our income growth strategy and help position HHC as the partner of choice for those investing in child rights and social care reform globally.
It's a role with real ownership, and your contribution will go straight to what matters most: helping millions of separated children get back to family.
What you'll bring
You'll have a proven track record of securing five, six and seven figure grants from large foundations, trusts and institutional donors. You'll be able to write and develop high-quality proposals and manage complex budgets. Your relationship management skills will be exceptional, and you'll know how to convey HHC's mission compellingly to a wide range of senior audiences.
You'll be collaborative and culturally empathetic, comfortable working across teams, and equally at ease leading face-to-face cultivation as you are driving prospect research and pipeline development. Most importantly, you'll share our conviction that every child belongs in a family, and understand that every partnership you build and every proposal you win brings us closer to consigning orphanages to history.
About Hope and Homes for Children
Orphanages don't protect children, they harm them. The last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs: someone to love them. Decades of evidence shows that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development, and that orphanages subject children to high levels of abuse and neglect.
Today, over 5.4 million children are confined to orphanages worldwide, and more than 80% of them are not orphans at all. Children belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love: somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.
Additional information
This post requires the post holder to have, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the UK, and may be subject to a DBS check.
Closing date: 17:00 on Friday 11th September 2026.
There will be a two-stage interview process: first round interviews on 22nd or 23rd September, a written exercise on 24th or 25th September, and final interviews on 29th September.
Should you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

Senior Philanthropy Manager
Prostate Cancer UK
Location: Hybrid – a combination of remote and in-person working at our London Bridge office at least 4 days a month
Permanent and full-time role
Salary: Band 5 range of £51,250 - £60,250 pa
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the UK - stealing over 12,000 of our dads, grandads, brothers and friends every year.
As the largest men’s health charity in the UK, our ambition is clear: to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer. And this is how we’re making that happen. We are the biggest public funder of prostate cancer research, investing millions to revolutionise testing, treatment, and care. We’re blazing a trail to a screening programme that could save thousands of lives with regular, accurate tests for all men at risk. And we work tirelessly to spread the word about risk and offer specialist support to people living with the disease.
This is an exciting and pivotal moment for high value fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK. Through our £100 million Raise the Game appeal, we are accelerating our progress over the next 5 years, to transform how men and their families navigate prostate cancer. We are now seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager to be at the heart of this mission – securing and stewarding major gifts that will directly fund life-saving research, drive innovation, and ensure more men receive the right treatment at the right time. You will develop and lead on major donor fundraising, working with some of our most influential supporters to unlock gifts that drive real change. You will also motivate and support a small team of fundraisers, and help them to successfully cultivate their portfolios.
About you
You will be a highly collaborative major gifts fundraiser with a strong track record of developing and securing high-five-figure and six figure gifts. You’ll thrive in fast-paced, ambitious environments, bringing both strategic thinking and the ability to turn plans into action. A confident communicator, people manager and natural relationship builder, you’ll be adaptable, curious and skilled at building trust and credibility with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in health or medical fundraising would be valuable, but not essential. What is essential is your ability to interpret complex, specialist information into compelling funding propositions. Underpinning all of this is your passion for driving positive change and your belief in the power of philanthropy to make a meaningful difference.
What we offer
Join our team and be part of an award-winning charity. We’ll support you to develop your skills and expertise.
We offer a competitive benefits package, including:
Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
At Prostate Cancer UK we’re committed to righting health inequalities across the UK, starting with those faced by Black men. This includes ground-breaking research into Black men's risk and working with communities directly to overcome barriers to the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. To make this happen, we're dedicated to being an inclusive, proactive organisation, as we strive to be Allies to Black communities. We’ll achieve this by advocating and working alongside those communities to promote change. We're also working to be Allies to each other, not only protected groups. In 2024, we launched our New Allyship Training Programme. All colleagues at Prostate Cancer UK will be trained to act and identify as an Ally.
We've also signed Business in the Community’s Race at Work Charter, as a dedication to our Black health equity work and wider EDI priorities. As a signatory, we're responsible and accountable for driving positive change.
Our people networks
We’re continuously learning more about the needs of our colleagues, and have three amazing People Networks, sponsored by our Leadership team:
This is a career defining opportunity to work with us and you’ll see your efforts pay off as we give men and their families the power to navigate prostate cancer.
