The BNSSG VCSE Alliance is a collaborative network of over 200 voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). Its mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of people and communities by enabling the VCSE sector to influence decisions and work alongside the BNSSG Integrated Care System.

This role, the VCSE Alliance Director, will provide strategic leadership for the BNSSG VCSE Alliance, strengthening the influence of the VCSE sector within the Integrated Care System. You'll lead strategic partnerships, influence policy developments, and provide oversight of the Alliance's priorities.

Voscur is a co-founder and host of the BNSSG VCSE Alliance and plays a key leadership role through the Alliance Steering Group. The VCSE Alliance Director will be employed by Voscur and report to the Voscur CEO. The role will line manage the VCSE Alliance Partnerships Manager and hold oversight of Alliance programmes, contracts and budgets, including current grant-funded activity.

The post is based at Voscur's office at Royal Oak House, Bristol, with presence required at community venues across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and occasional travel to Gloucestershire. Voscur operates a hybrid and flexible working approach, with a shared office day on Tuesday and a strong emphasis on support, supervision, wellbeing and collaborative working.

This role is initially offered as a nine month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and contract procurement.

About the Place-Based Resilience Team 

The Place-Based Resilience team delivers R-Cities' Resilience for Communities (R4C) program at neighborhood scale, working with communities, cities, and funders across North America, Greater Manchester, and Malaysia. The team combines structured resilience assessment with community-led design, and translates what works in one place into practice elsewhere. 

The role 

You run day-to-day delivery of the R4C Greater Manchester program. You own the program's operational spine: plans, trackers, records, and the monitoring and evaluation data that evidences impact to funders. You also lead discrete workstreams including workshop facilitation, events, corporate volunteering with Zurich, and support to local implementation partners. 

R4C Greater Manchester is currently delivered with local implementation partners at two demonstrator sites, Edgeley in Stockport with An Actions Common CIC and Higher Folds in Wigan with HF Works, alongside institutional partners including the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Stockport and Wigan Councils. The program is expanding to two new communities this year. It is funded by the Z Zurich Foundation and is supported by Zurich UK. The challenge is holding delivery, partner capability, and funder evidence together across four sites as the program moves into its second phase. 

How the role is set up today 

The program is entering Phase 2 following the close of Phase 1. The Lead - Place-Based Resilience currently carries direct delivery responsibility for Greater Manchester alongside portfolio leadership. You take on day-to-day delivery, with scope to broaden as that transition progresses. 

What you will do 

Program delivery and coordination (25%) 

You own: 

• Program plans, delivery trackers, milestones, and action logs across both sites, kept current and accurate. 

• Delivery against agreed deadlines, with risks to timelines identified and escalated early. 

• Program meetings, including scheduling, agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up. 

• Program files, records, and shared systems including Airtable, maintained so that knowledge does not sit with individuals. 

You contribute to: 

• Program planning and phase design, owned by the Lead - Place-Based Resilience. 

Local implementation partners (20%) 

You own: 

• The day-to-day operational relationship with local implementation partners at both sites. 

• Partner delivery against agreed specifications and timelines, including the practical and administrative running of partner working. 

• Support to partners in developing funding bids and applications that sustain and grow their work. 

You contribute to: 

• Senior partner and institutional relationships, owned by the Lead - Place-Based Resilience. 

• Partner capability building across the wider portfolio. 

Monitoring, evaluation, and funder reporting (20%) 

You own: 

• Operational coordination of monitoring and evaluation data across the program, including partner data returns. 

• The quality, completeness, and timeliness of data against the program's measurement frameworks. 

• Assembly of funder reports, including inputs, deadlines, and supporting documentation. 

You contribute to: 

• Funder relationships and reporting narrative, owned by the Lead - Place-Based Resilience. 

• Evaluation design and measurement approach across the portfolio. 

Facilitation, events, and corporate engagement (20%) 

You own: 

• Design, delivery, and follow-up of workshops and community sessions. 

• Program events end to end, including logistics, coordination, and delivery on the day. 

• Corporate volunteering sessions with Zurich, designed with partners at the demonstrator sites. 

You contribute to: 

• Community engagement across the Stockport and Wigan sites. 

Policy, knowledge, and fundraising (15%) 

You own: 

• Discrete workstreams and improvement initiatives assigned to the role, taken forward with limited supervision. 

You contribute to: 

• Policy and knowledge products at local, regional, national, and global levels, including research, drafting, and production. 

• Fundraising for the program and the wider portfolio, including proposals and supporting materials. 

• Desk research and analysis feeding facilitation, workshops, events, and the dissemination of practice. 

What you bring 

This role suits someone who can hold a program together operationally and also run a room, with credibility in front of communities, partners, and corporate volunteers. You communicate clearly in writing and in person, work independently and take ownership of your workstreams, and prioritize well across competing demands. You bring a creative, problem-solving mindset and an appetite to grow into wider responsibility, and you are comfortable in a fast-paced, distributed organization. 

Essential: 

• At least three years of program or project management experience, delivering complex work to time and quality. 

• At least two years of experience coordinating funded or (sub)contracted delivery partners against agreed specifications. 

• Facilitation experience, including designing and leading workshops or community sessions. 

• Experience collecting or coordinating monitoring and evaluation data. 

• Experience producing written reports for funders or senior stakeholders. 

• Based within regular traveling distance of Greater Manchester, with the flexibility to work on site in Stockport and Wigan as the delivery schedule requires, averaging around one day per week. 

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Speaking for Ourselves is an exciting new programme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund that will collect and share the history of the care-experienced campaigning movement since the 1970s. It was conceived within the care-experienced community, emerging from long-standing discussions about how poorly the history of the care-experienced campaigning movement has been recorded—and how easily its achievements risk being forgotten.

This important programme puts the voice of people with lived experience of care at the centre. The Speaking for Ourselves programme delivered by Coram is guided by a majority care-experienced Programme Board and aims to work with the wider care experienced community. The Programme Board has an advisory and representative role, to guide the successful delivery of the programme and make key decisions that shape its impact.

Speaking for Ourselves will:

• Engage care-experienced communities through workshops, open submissions, commissions, partnerships, and outreach

• Collect, record, and digitise documents, photographs, letters, publications, and objects
• Conduct personal history interviews with people involved in campaigns and efforts for change
• Commission written pieces to fill gaps in the historical record
• Create a permanent digital archive
• Produce podcasts, a moveable display, a school’s module, and a toolkit for Children in Care Councils
• Deliver three national events (one per year)
• Build a lasting resource for policymakers, educators, researchers, and future campaigners

About the role

The Care Experienced Engagement Coordinator role presents a unique opportunity to work directly with the care experienced community to bring to life this untold history. The role will hold primary responsibility for the engagement with the community, and care experienced individuals and allies including outreach, liaison and ongoing relationship management. Along with the team they will need to ensure the programme is delivered sensitively and embed a trauma informed approach.

We are looking for a person who has direct experience of successfully working with diverse groups of people with lived experience of the care system – personally or professionally, along with experience of working with young people and adults to develop and deliver projects preferably in a heritage / creative context.

The post holder will report to the Programme Manager, and will be responsible for working with them, the team, the Programme Board and Coram to deliver the programme.

CXK will be delivering 12 week NEET programmes across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. The programmes will run weekly in local communities where it has been identified there are a significant number of young people not in education, employment of training. • Define and maintain access and security principles for Microsoft 365, working collaboratively with operational teams and external providers (e.g. Twin Systems) to ensure consistent and proportionate controls.
• Provide guidance on the effective use and optimisation of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), supporting clear organisational ways of working and collaboration across regions and teams.

 SYSTEM OWNERSHIP & ARCHITECTURE

• Own the organisation’s digital systems landscape, with Salesforce as the primary platform.
• Ensure alignment and integration across systems (e.g. FormAssembly, Power BI, M365, etc.).

• Evaluate and recommend new tools in alignment with organisational needs and existing systems.

USER SUPPORT & CAPACITY BUILDING

Thames Rivers Trust (TRT) is part of The Rivers Trust movement. We focus on the promotion and delivery of an ecosystem-based approach to improving the River Thames, working with partners including Thames Water, The Rivers Trust, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and a network of Catchment Partnerships across the Thames Basin, to deliver an integrated approach to managing the river basin for people, biodiversity and the environment.

We are recruiting a Programme Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of the Water Company Partnership: a developing arrangement between TRT, The Rivers Trust, Thames Water and ZSL that works alongside and helps coordinate support for the 27 Catchment Partnerships of the Thames Basin. You will oversee delivery across all five of the Partnership's workstreams and be accountable to the Partnership Board for progress, combining day-to-day programme management with support to the Board's strategic oversight.

In practical terms, this role exists to help integrate Catchment Partnership hosts and partnership members with Thames Water's delivery programme, and to upskill those partnerships so they are equipped to plan, fund and deliver more on the ground themselves, building the same kind of productive relationships with other funders and partners too, not just Thames Water. It is a genuine opportunity to shape how a major water company and its environmental partners work together, and to help turn that partnership into real, measurable improvements for rivers and the wider environment across the Thames Basin.

Your responsibilities will span five workstreams:

● Governance: catchment partnership maturity and tiering, network structure and governance models

● Monitoring and Evaluation: river health scorecards, monitoring standards and evidence for investment decisions and Thames Water's PR29 submission

● Capability and Capacity, including CaPS: TRT's own Catchment Partnerships Support Programme, learning and development, and running the Thames Catchment Forum

● Catchment and Nature-based Solutions: supporting delivery of wetland, river restoration and storm overflow projects

● Blended Finance: developing environmental market mechanisms and diversified funding for Catchment Partnerships

You will also service the Partnership Board, coordinate quarterly reviews with individual catchment hosts, and act as TRT's key liaison with Thames Water, The Rivers Trust, ZSL and Catchment Partnerships across the region.

We're looking for someone with experience delivering environmental, catchment or nature-recovery programmes, strong partnership working and facilitation skills, and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-organisation programmes through influence rather than line management. Knowledge of the water sector, WINEP or AMP planning, nature-based solutions or blended finance would be an advantage, as would a project or programme management qualification.

Job Title: Duty Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Duty IGVA)

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Duty Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to be the first point of contact for women who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support to survivors all risk levels and their children..

In this role you will be part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre. The duty IGVA will be responding to daily enquiries (specify from whom- public, agencies, individuals? over the phone and email as well as contacting survivors, assessing their risks and needs.

The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
