About the role

At least five years’ post-qualification experience.
Experience of working therapeutically with people who have experienced childhood trauma.
Experience of clinical management or management within an organisational setting.
Experience of working across different cultural contexts and a strong commitment to culturally sensitive practice.
Experience of collecting and measuring clinical outcomes, including CORE.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and people-management skills.

We are looking for a Mentor Manager to provide supervision to volunteer mentors and boys within our church partnership programme. Millions of boys in the UK are growing up without any meaningful contact with their father and the consequences can be profound. Chapter2 is combatting this worsening trend across Reading by offering dedicated long-term male mentors for fatherless boys.

Job Purpose:
To oversee the management and growth of Venue Hire for our historic spaces covering meetings, conferences, talks, weddings and community activities. This is our primary source of income and key to supporting our library and learning programme, alongside our theatre income and fundraising.
