About the role 

This exciting opportunity will be supporting the Third Party Events Manager with the ongoing development of our third party running and challenge events. You’ll be forming strong relationships with our supporters and delivering event experiences from concept to completion. 

This role has lots of potential for growth and development. You’ll work closely with the Events Management team to expand and develop our third party events programme, steward existing supporters and engage new audiences that aim to raise the charity’s profile and reach as well as significant income.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Third Party Events Manager to manage and develop the 3rd party events strategy and budgets, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

• Plan, manage, deliver and develop 3rd party events in order to achieve agreed income, expenditure and audience targets

• Create and manage event budgets ensuring that income, expenditure and KPI’s are met

• Work with the Events Managers to create and develop stewardship communications across a range of channels

• Lead the strategic plan and development of the Team Parkinson’s social media platforms to create a friendly, engaging and ‘community feel’ environment

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of successfully delivering a variety of fundraising events including recruitment of participants and volunteers 

• Experience of drawing up budgets and managing income (min £350,000) and expenditure (min £85,000) 

• Understanding of data and insight that is needed to test, optimise and evaluate the running events portfolio 

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Experience of project management including liaising with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.

Job purpose

This role will lead and coordinate Women in Prisons’ external communications, platforming the voice of women with lived experience of the criminal justice system to raise the organisation’s public profile and awareness of the criminalisation of women.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Lead and develop comprehensive communications strategies to raise WIP’s profile for influencing, fundraising and impact and that align with our vision and mission.
2. Build public engagement and awareness, leading on campaign development and delivery
3. Oversee the production of Women in Prison’s publications.
4. Platform the voice of women with lived experience of the criminal justice system in all external communications.
5. Manage WIP’s Spokesperson network

The wïsh centre is a Registered Charity in London Borough of Harrow that helps young people to stop self harming so that they can live a life free from the risk of serious harm. Every year we support over 150 children and young people ages 12-25 years through long term psychotherapy and peer support groups. We deliver our work in schools and colleges and at our Centre in Harrow. We have a twenty year evidenced track record of success and a small and dedicated team.

 We have a new three year strategy where we will focus on enhancing the capacity of wïsh Harrow so that we can support more young people and will continue to focus on partnership work with youth voice being central to, and informing, all that we do.

Purpose of the Role

The Deputy CEO is a new and exciting role that is pivotal in supporting the CEO in leading the charity, ensuring operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustainable impact. This role combines leadership, governance, income generation, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance to help drive the charity’s mission forward.

The Deputy CEO will work closely with the CEO, enhancing capacity to recruit and retain staff and diversify sources of funding to ensure the sustainability of our service.

About the role

The Supporter Care Executive plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience to all UK donors. Acting as a key point of contact, the Supporter Care Executive will ensure that every supporter feels valued, informed and appreciated. You will handle a range of enquiries across phone, email and written correspondence, providing accurate information and resolving issues with warmth, professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• To be directly responsible for efficiently responding to supporter and wider audience enquiries and donation pledges; adding value, taking every opportunity to promote and exceed expectations. 

• Deliver a first-class experience to supporters by engaging in positive conversations through various communication channels, such as email, telephone and written media, meeting internal SLAs. 

• Maintaining and updating the FAQs for agencies. 

• Working with the Head of Fundraising Services and other internal teams on ad-hoc projects as required. 

• Assisting in managing external agencies, including monitoring performance. 

• Assisting with agency training and briefing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Auditor join a large not-for-profit organisation on a 1 year fixed term contract. The postholder will be performing branch audits and special investigations regarding branch queries. They will also put forward recommendations to mitigate risks identified and will liaise with relevant committees to further develop the internal audit procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with branches and regions to promote effective branch financial management and ensure the completeness, accuracy and validity of branch accounts

Our Restart Homeless and Rough Sleeping service provides targeted rough sleeping outreach, supported accommodation for 14 tenants and long-term guidance to help people to move forward and avoid returning to homelessness. Purpose of the Role

The Head of Homeless Services will lead, develop and deliver all aspects of Resolve’s Restart service. You will oversee rough sleeping outreach, accommodation and intensive one-to-one support, ensuring people move towards secure housing and improved wellbeing.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You will inspire a dedicated team, drive service innovation, and strengthen partnerships across the sector, while ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance. Oasis in North East Lincolnshire is at an exciting stage of development. We are looking to appoint a dynamic strategic lead to develop and grow our children’s, youth and community work across the two separate Oasis neighbourhoods that work together to form the Hub charity.  The two neighbourhoods are South ward in Grimsby and Immingham. This role will oversee a team of staff and volunteers in community, bringing strategic oversight to ensure the work is tied together across North East Lincolnshire under the one hub charity to achieve the shared vision.

We are looking for a relational based leader for this key project management role.  As such, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills as well as:

· Building positive and supportive working partnerships with the community.

· Leading the local community teams as the expand the vision of developing integrated community provision involving the community and academy(ies) towards developing an Oasis movement, where those affiliated with Oasis are in the planning, delivery evaluation and sustainability of activities and services.

· Developing wide ranging advice and community support provision that are led by the community including: Resilience building provision (financial planning, healthy eating etc.), Youthwork/children’s work, Family support services Community relationship building provision (community events, befriending schemes etc.)

· Working in close partnership with key stakeholders including local community, Academy Principals and staff teams, and local community leaders to lead the Community strategic development, particularly around communication, income generation strategy and monitoring and evaluation and reporting.

· Responsibility for systems development and management across the Community Charity including all policy and procedures such as financial management, health and safety, safeguarding etc.

· Growing a team of staff and volunteers to deliver the objectives in the Community Plan that directly support students and their families in the Academy(ies) and members of the local community.

· To ensure the Oasis ethos permeates all work across the community team.

We're looking for someone with experience of verging or similar church support work. Good social skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.  The ability to work closely with and relate well to all Cathedral staff, ministry team, congregation, volunteers, visitors, and members of the general public will also be required. 

The two Assistant Vergers and Precinct Officers carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of the Head Verger and Precinct Manager.  Work includes: the careful setting up and delivery of all liturgical matters; ensuring a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all working in, visiting, or using the Cathedral and Cathedral House and precinct and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the Cathedral for all.

Lead facilitation of intergenerational sessions

Taking responsibility for the high-quality delivery of the session, leading activities from the front, delegating tasks to and managing a supporting volunteer if appropriate. The lead facilitator will endeavor to involve everyone present in the session, be responsible for ensuring that InCommon’s safeguarding procedures are followed and that any incidents are handled appropriately. 

Building and maintaining strong relationships with people of all ages 

Using your excellent communication skills you’ll build strong relationships with everyone taking part in an InCommon programme, from children and older people to primary school teachers and staff working at retirement homes. This role may involve communication before and after the session with parties taking part; where this is the case it will be clearly communicated by the Senior Programme Manager. 

A lead facilitator should be someone who can

• Engage a roomful of people over fun, creative and conversation-based activities

• Is reliable, trustworthy and can commit to monthly term-time sessions

• Is sensitive to the needs of young people and older adults, understanding the variety of needs they may have
