Our Finance team is growing and we are looking to hire a Finance Officer in our London office.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is actively studying towards or completed an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, with study support provided alongside hands-on experience. The role sits within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, where you will support the production of monthly management accounts, partner with budget holders, and provide valuable financial insight across our Business Services and External Affairs departments.

We are recruiting for a Children and Young People’s Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ChISVA) to support and empower young survivors of sexual violence and abuse.

The ChISVA will provide information, support, advice and advocacy to children and young people who have experienced sexual assault or sexual abuse in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The post holder will deliver child-centred support to young survivors and non-abusing care givers around criminal justice processes, wellbeing, education and safety, while ensuring child protection procedures are followed at all times.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an In-Memory Stewardship and Marketing Manager to lead our in-memory giving strategy, create outstanding supporter experiences, and grow income by inspiring legacy giving and maximising gifts in wills opportunities. 

This role is advertised as full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

The Role:

• Lead the development, implementation and embedding of the Woodland Trust's in-memory fundraising strategy.
• Drive growth in in-memory income, achieving strategic income and supporter acquisition targets.
• Design and deliver a gold-standard stewardship programme to strengthen supporter relationships and encourage future legacy giving.
• Collaborate with Communications to develop compelling messaging, storytelling and campaigns that raise awareness of in-memory giving.
• Build and manage relationships with key in-memory supporters, providing personalised stewardship.
• Maximise legacy giving opportunities by promoting gifts in wills and integrating legacy fundraising into supporter journeys.
• Work cross-organisationally to develop innovative in-memory products, including launching new tribute fund initiatives with external partners.

• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The Candidate:

• Demonstrable experience in in-memory giving and legacy giving.
• A background working within the charity sector.
• Proven success in building and stewarding stakeholder relationships.

• Confidence using CRM systems, with experience of Dynamics 365 being desirable.

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking an Area Giving and Finance Adviser (Stepney) to play a key role within the Area Finance team, based at Causton Street.

Job Summary

The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.

Job responsibilities

Financial support 

• Enable churches to develop their respective ministries, manage their finances effectively, and meet their statutory responsibilities. 
• Provide finance and other appropriate training, support, resources and advice to the clergy, PCCs and parish officers. 
• Assist the Bishop, Archdeacons and Area Deans in managing Common Fund giving by the churches in the Area.

About the role

Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. Through compelling messaging and innovative approaches, foster long-term, sustainable relationships,

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our Shelter shop in Nantwich. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.

You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

Axial SpA is an inflammatory condition of the spine and joints. Inflammation where muscles attach to the bones causes extreme pain, and if left untreated, it can permanently fuse bones together. It's an invisible and misdiagnosed condition, often leaving people feeling powerless, in increasing pain and extreme exhaustion. We campaign policy makers for early diagnosis and better services, work with the NHS to get axial SpA identified and diagnosed quickly, and build an active community, online and through our local branches across the UK. We are with them all the way. Axial SpA may work silently. But we don't.

We are a small team, looking for a part-time Fundraising Assistant to work alongside our existing Fundraising Officer, with a focus on engaging our donors and supporters and acting as first point of contact for many of our fundraisers, alongside maintaining accurate records and administration that keeps our fundraising running smoothly. You'll support activity across our income streams as part of our internal Fundraising Board, alongside our CEO, Head of Fundraising and Fundraising Officer. We are passionate about transforming lives for people with axial SpA. We truly value our people, who do meaningful work that directly impacts the lives of people living with axial SpA. You'll be supported to succeed and genuinely appreciated for your contributions. The Head of Policy and Public Affairs will provide strategic leadership in developing and delivering LAWRS’ key influencing and media priorities and policy positions. This is a new role within the Individual Giving team, supporting our ambition to grow and develop unrestricted income. The Fundraising Assistant will help plan and deliver high-quality print and digital communications that recruit new supporters, engage existing donors, and promote a range of ways to give, including regular giving, gifts in Wills, and DIY fundraising.

Working closely with colleagues across Individual Giving and the wider organisation, you will gain hands-on experience of a broad range of fundraising and marketing techniques. You will support the delivery of fundraising activity while contributing ideas that help shape future Individual Giving approaches, improve supporter experience, and maximise long-term giving.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in fundraising, with opportunities to develop skills across campaigns, communications, events, and supporter stewardship

About you

Experience / Qualifications:

· Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate relevant transferable experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, administration or a related field.

· Experience supporting projects or campaigns within fundraising, marketing, communications or events, either through paid employment, volunteering or placements.

· Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver activities to agreed deadlines.

· Experience following administrative processes, managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate records.

· Experience using Microsoft Office and confidence learning to use new systems and digital platforms. Experience of working with databases or CRM systems would be an advantage.

· An interest in fundraising, marketing and the charity sector, with a willingness to develop knowledge of Individual Giving.

You'll be a strong writer who can produce engaging press releases, statements, media briefings and other content for a range of audiences. You'll have a good understanding of what makes a compelling news story, experience creating impactful content, and the ability to turn complex information into clear and engaging communications. You'll also be comfortable using media monitoring and evaluation to understand what is working and help shape future activity.
